- In my lonesome aberration
It won't settle with a crowd
In my lonesome aberration
In my lonesome aberration
It won't settle with a crowd
You're a beast that I was raising
That surrounds you like a crown
But I need some rapture
But I got nothin' to show
And my heart ain't broken
Won't turn silver to gold
In your lonesome advocation
You don't meddle with the crown
You're a leash that I was twistin'
And it wears you like a gown
But I need some rapture
But I got nothin' to show
And my heart ain't broken
Won't turn silver to gold
And my heart ain't broken
Won't turn silver to gold
Honey won’t you break some skin, just let it out
I’ve got a feelin’ but it ain’t coming down
Honey won’t you break some bread, just let it crack
I’m on the ceiling but you’re under glass
Honey won’t you break some bread, just let it crack
I’m on the ceiling, but you’re under glass
Honey won’t you break some skin, just let it out
I’ve got a feelin’ and it ain’t coming down

The Card Counter brought me here....
It"s profound. As a survivor of the worst and best ...I CAN relate to it.
Ditto.
Me too homie
The ambience of this song is pure magic.
I swear this song is the best thing in the movie!
It's much better than the movie itself.
@@RGR465 lol Thats what i meant, you're absolutely right
@@RGR465 And what hurts more, is that it was a Martin Scorsese production!
@@RndZApprox yeah it sucks I'm a big fan of him, Tarantino and Nolan.
@@RndZApprox I just watched this and sadly have to agree. The overall story was okay but the characters and their motives and interactions were not convincing. The whole back plot of the torturing going on in Iraq was out of place and weird.
This is a song that you feel under the skin....no matter what my tastes are...I am immersed into this....
Just watched 'The Card Counter', which lead me here. Very different and uniquely sung.
The card counter was expectionnal thanks to this song.
This song is haunting me down 🌪
And I’m absolutely in love with it.
This song has haunted me for weeks after "The Card Counter" 💯% 🔥 movie and soundtrack! 👌
A true transcendental piece of art here. It explores more than expected..
This song is featured in The Card Counter in a great way.

Listen this one type in 'the Call featuring Robert Levon Been'🔥
Superbe decouverte musicale a travers ce film qui l'est tout autant ....
I never heard this song till this movie and love this song. The movie was amazing and I feel like there is going to be a sequel.
Amazing how this song gets hinted at in the movie and then when it actually unfurls
What movie?
Have you heard him sing his dad's song? On 'the Call' vevo video at the top!almost as good as his dad's version.🔥

Thanks for the lyrics 😊
These lyrics are saying nothing at all, just a collection of words
Wow, amaaaaazing!! The intro reminds me of his Dad's music but heavier and darker for 2021. Like the soundtrack for some yet-to-be made film.
UPDATE: just found out it was in a film. Makes sense someone would snatch it up, it's so incredibly good.
I need some Rapture..🔥👍❤
Love it.
A play list do filme é muito melhor que filme
Foi ai que viajei com essa musica❤
Tremendous
What an ambience
Love the movie since I heard that there going to do a remake of scarface I've always said only one man can do it n that's Denzel Washington but now I think Oscar Isaac can do it, a super actor
I can see the scene where it pans over all the poker tables
F**king stunner...
Amazing song, from a bad movie.
Guys, please send a link to lyrics or just put lyrics here 🙌
Thanks to The Card Reader for bringing me here!
Bella..
Nice
underrated af
❤️
What a song movie brought me here also
Wish someone would post the lyrics.
Someone did, it's about 4 or 5 threads above yours 😊
The Card Counter
My theory is some of us have already been "raptured", and we're waiting for everyone else to wake up.
song iyi iSoup
Music is the only great thing in this movie.
Didn't Jesus tell Christians to pray for God's Kingdom to come and for His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven? God's Kingdom is a heavenly government ruled by Jesus Christ as King. Soon Jesus will bring beautiful changes to the earth. There will be no more death, pain or sorrow on earth, Revelation 21:4,5! No more wickedness on earth, Psalms 37:9-11! After Armageddon the meek will inherit the earth and live forever on it, Psalms 37:29; Matthew 5:5; Proverbs 2:21,22! The earth will be cultivated into a Paradise like God intended in the beginning, Genesis 1:28; Isaiah 55:11! Jesus will do on a grand scale what he did when he walked the earth including raising those who are asleep in death, John 5:28,28! There will only be one government over the entire earth forever, Daniel 2:44! Jesus said that this good news of the Kingdom would be preached about in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come, Matthew 24:14! Soon Jesus will make sure that God's Will is done on earth as it is in heaven, will you be there to see it? John 4:22-24; John 17:3; Isaiah 42:8!
Thank you. I needed to hear that very badly. It will be done as it is in heaven, just like the Lord's prayer. Amen.
@@Youngthunder7 Yes, we can believe that soon God's Kingdom will come and take over earth's affairs and bring about God's will on earth as it is in heaven! While that is true, we have a responsibility! Jesus, at Matthew 7:21-23, showed that just because one says "I'm a Christian ", doesn't mean that they are on the road to eternal life. He said that we MUST worship the Father with spirit and truth, John 4:22-24! We must come to know the true God and learn what He requires of those who call themselves Christians! Matthew 7:13,14 tells us about two roads, one leading to life, the other to destruction! How would we be able to tell which road we are on?
@@carolmueller3191 The Holy Spirit will let you know which road you're on.
