There are few of Shade's (announcer) lines regarding the heister sprinkled in. So many audio files with random names that I didn't want to search them and remove them
He fits quite well, nothing beats Ulf but I think Nicklas did a good job and most of the lines hit a sweet spot.
I do say both are good on their own way

I have to begrudgingly agree haha. There's something off to me tho, and I can't place it. I hope it's not just the "it's not Ulf so it's wrong" thing. Kind of feels like his personality has changed a bit

this is such a great replacement for wolf i love nicklas already and cant wait to see more
1:49 really captured wolf's anger issues. 2:00 really captures his instability as well. both of them sound really genuine. reverting to his native language when he's angry or excited is a really really nice touch as well. gives the swedish lines a lot more impact. amazing performance by nicklas berglund fr.
He's done a great job of channeling Ulf while also making the performance his own. It doesn't sound like a cheap imitation.

Yeah dude, Nicklas killed it. Just enough amount of unhinged, and a cool amount of Swedish voice lines too. That "CLOOOAKER!!!" at 1:14 is classic Wolf, LMAO.

@@Mentelgen-1337 it wasn't his fault if the lines are absent,the director and script writers needs to do more with our beloved chars. Nicklas does nothing wrong.

It's never gonna be better than Ulf, but he grew on me a lot over the beta

Surprisingly enough, I think this voice fits the old face better
See that’s what I was thinking. I was never a huge fan of wolfs voice (I never thought it fit the unhinged they were going for) but his face fit that “average dude pushed to the breaking point”
He was redesigned he does not look as old as he did in the beta he looks a bit younger and more like his PDTH design
Am I the only person who thinks his civilian speech is cheesy? Other than that, Nicklas is a great replacement.

I’m pretty sure in an interview he said that he only improvised in his last session at that point so probably more the writers fault
The cheesiness is still Wolf-like at least. This man cannot communicate verbally for the life of him.

I really like these new lines, nicklas does a great job, but the face model doesn’t match the voice at all, in my opinion. He looks like a fifty year old kebab shop owner
OBVIOUSLY he aint Ulf but damn he sounds good and he did an awesome job!
I can definitely respect it. He's still Swedish and psycho, while also brand new and fresh. Oh, and at least we'll probably get new voice lines later on, unlike Payday 2.

Ulf did an excellent job as being the voice actor for Wolf, but I do think Nicklas sounds quite similar to Ulf sometimes, and I love Nicklas' version of Wolf
While i do miss the og VA, I think the new one does a great job at sounding like wolf but with his own spin on the character

hes the closest we got and hes good
nicklas killed his role as the old unhinged wolf we know and love ,but some of the dialogue need a rework. Or addition to be 10/10. This dude Nicklas is new to the payday world, he would need help on deciding the character lines for some character depth from the director and script writer of the game.
Honestly , i didnt like the voice actor, i really dislike change, but after playing the open beta i actually like his acting, specially when he screams in swedish.
I hope they are gonna fix audio balance. I've noticed it in the beta and now it's very clear in this video - some phrases when he just speaks sound much louder then screaming.
You can change the music volume/Turning it off
@@gingerpt5714- not that. The way how the voice audio is handle in the game isn't consistent. Some lines are louder, some lines aren't.

There was a dedicated button for voice lines in payday 3. One of them was cursing the drill

Good news there's drills in like 3 places one of which for 30 seconds. Like in the entire game.
Unpopular opinion but this Wolf is an improvement over the last one. The perfection between angry, psychopathic, and badass is perfected here - unlike Payday 2 where a lot of characters had generic voice lines, Wolf included.

He sounds like someone trying to be quirky instead of someone who's genuinely unstable like Ulf's interpretation. It just doesn't feel nearly as natural. His cloaker scream is decent though. I have noticed that the voice acting in payday 3 is a bit cringeworthy for most of the enemies as well (50% of the dozer's voicelines rely solely on the word Fuck). Hopefully it's not a trend with the game's writing.
