  • Jay Reale walks you through the simple process of smoothing out deck or rail foam that has suffered minor damage.
    This will work with rough deck foam too, even if there's wax on the board already.

    Awesome Jay. Always knew there was a way to fix gouges like this with heat but didn't know the technique.

    Cracking tip! I've caught my boards on zips particularly where the nose meets the rail a few times. Had no idea it could be repaired like this. Cheers!

    Nice. You have any advice on how to fix a 3/8th inch deep gouge on the deck of a boogie board? My grandson (2 y/o) took a screw driver to mine...through the liner and into the foam filler. I've got 3 holes to fill now. : /

    Awesome fix! Would this work on a softtop surfboard as well? Left my softtop inside the car and it formed a bubble on the deck. Thanks!

    • @eBodyboardingcom
      @eBodyboardingcom  11 месяцев назад +2

      This won't work on a bubble. It's only for cuts or scratches on the foam.
      For a bubble, your only option would be to slit open the bubble with an x acto knife and squirt hot glue into the bubble and press down.

      Sorry...not sure what you mean by "chatter". The same repair method I'm using on the rail will work on the deck. It's the same foam.
