What I like about this is the people taking ownership if the relationship failed. But to also see those people realizing that and then getting back together "possibly". You get a lot of shit for going back to an ex but people grow, learn, and change. Its always possible to do it right the next time.

@@callhard depends from which perspective you view it. Generally speaking a break up equals to move on. Breaking up as in Breaking off of that person. Though some circumstances do not allow to make such work out and that is perfectly fine as well :).

we need more channels like cut. they always find the most chill group of folks to do these interviews. like the bravery to call an ex out of nowhere. oml.
This and so many of Cut’s videos should get more praise because of the norms they’ve exploiting. Like many commenters here, I am and always will be a major believer that communication is the key no matter the situation. If something’s going on, communicate. If you’re feeling a certain way, communicate. Doing so can be easier said than done, but even the simplest of calls/texts can provide an amount of closure to someone in need of it. Even though that person may not be as present in your life as they once were, they’re still a time stamp in your life. Thank you Cut and keep it up!
The video(and some of the callers) is exploiting the ex's for a youtube video, I personally think it's a terrible example. It would be much different if they did it privately, but if people don't already know why they broke up, there was huge problems in the relationship.
right all i was thinking about was if i called i wouldnt even get a hello just straight screaming and insults that led into an argument and if he knew i called for a video i wouldnt hear the end of it lol
@@sola_a introvert - a shy, reticent person. Reticent - not revealing one's thoughts or feelings readily. like I said, an introvert. I normally don’t like revealing my thoughts or feelings to someone because I always thought “no one cares, so why waste the breath” I was shy as well, i just didn’t like talking to people. I always thought I was bothering people if did or say anything. In a relationship, communicating is key. Try dating a guy who doesn’t like to talk and make conversation. It’s boring basically right?
@@hvcky not what an introvert is. Introvertiert and extroversion is all about energy. An extrovert gets his energy from being around people and feels drained when they are not. An introvert can interact with others but will feel drained over time and has to recharge by being alone. Being introverted has nothing to do with being shy or being bad at communication, there are other words for that. As an introvert, I'm just annoyed with people misusing the term for there awkwardness. About your problem: I'm going to assume you're a minor/teen (correct me if I'm wrong). Trust me, most teenagers are like this. You'll grow our of it to an extend as you grow and experience more of life. I was like that too, still am a bit. What helped me was realizing that people don't actually care. Think about it, how many times a day do you think about one specific person and analyze their behavior? You don't right? So why would others? Everyone has their own issues to face, so why would something as stupid as your awkwardness be something that bothers them? The only one who actually cares is you. Stop caring. We only live on this earth once, it's too short of a time to be shy. You are correct, you won't have a good relationship before you fix your communications problem.
@@sola_a well I’m not a teenager. I’m an adult but I guess misunderstood this whole time. Maybe I’m just a person who needs confidence or something. I just always think my existence bugs people. Everyone talking about the military dude and the best response to me was "I wanted all the good things that cane with a relationship but I didn't know how to handle that". That was real af.
The lady who had the serial cheater broke my heart, those relationships are so draining. Where one person is giving it their all and the other person is only saying they're giving it their all. That is the definition of stringing someone on and it's so hard to go against the hope of what they're telling you and trust they're shitty actions instead. It means giving up on someone you'd do anything for, including waste away by their side. It's hard to choose your own wellbeing when accepting relationship breakdown would cause you so much pain short term. Know that the average female gets over a breakup in 3 months. That's an average of 84 days. We feel all the loss and pain and then we stand up stronger. My heart goes out to you and I hope your inner healing is still going strong 💕
yep i felt for her since my abusice ex is also so nonchalant. ive learned that some people are just givers and some are takers and a relationship with one of each will led to resentment and heartbreak. we keep making excuses for them which only makes it harder to detach and move on. Im glad she didnt marry him i could only imagine how much more toxic that relationship might have become when adding in marriage. its so hard giving up on someone and your relationship but you are giving up on yourself when you stay. I hope shes healing
Wow this hit me so hard , a lot of them now know what went wrong but back then they had no idea . You have to meet the right person at the right time , otherwise you don’t have the maturity to hold on to the good things that life offers to you. We learn from the history and become a better person but we no longer have a second chance to stand by each other’s side .
Exactly why I did not want to get into a relationship with this guy I fell super hard for. Because I know that we wouldn’t have lasted and I care about him too much to have let that happen
I really relate to the bloke who said he was in the military. I was living in Japan through the pandemic and tried to keep a long distance relationship going but ultimately the biggest problem on my end was communication. The idea of a long distance relationship is great, but it’s a lot easier said than done. Hope they’re both good now. 🙏🏼
I recently broke up with my first bf after 2 years and 9 months . We had been in the long distance relationship and only last few months he moved to a place further away and he had been struggling a bit. One reason was that we dun have much memories together & We only had less than a month of staying together in our entire relationship. he is also going to move to another country so much harder to meet up. So he couldn’t keep the relationship. I couldn’t give up but he did in the end. I am grateful he did cuz I could never even when I know it’s not working out. Broke up just few days ago and I still cry myself to sleep. Long distance is a lot harder than it’s said, I got much more respect for people making LDR work.
I will never do a long distance relationship again. That led to the downfall of my engagement, I'm pretty certain. But stupid me, I thought our love had been strong enough to withstand the distance for one year. Two things I learned: 1) Love is not enough. You need to constantly reinforce that foundation, and when you're doing it from far away, it's not going to be as stable. 2) It can fall apart surprisingly fast. Don't take it for granted that the relationship is as strong as you think it is.
The woman who said she didn’t have any numbers from any of her exes ……… she’s the one I would love to date. I am amazed how many people do have their exes numbers in their phone
in the last one at 6:50, if distance rlly was the issue then he would have reconnected w her once he moved to the same state they were both in. plus that “yeah” at the end sounded pressured
This kind of videos can either help the ex-couple make up and continue their past love or continue the treatment they have with each other after their breakup
@2:04 Mad respect for a man who broke thing off when he has feeling for someone else. That how is supposed to be. These days so many people are cheating left and right.
I love some of these answers! And some of them made me sad. I definitely understand the military guy… my husband was in the military for the majority of our marriage. We’re going on 11 years married now. Communication is most definitely key! Good luck to them all!

Communication is is fucking hard. When we have learnt to live with our emotions suppressed for a long time, we don't like feeling things and when we avoid feelings, we don't know how or what to talk about or communicate. Hope you find the root cause of the problem. All the best.

Like fr. I'm actually still crying lol. I have bdp 🤷🏽♀️.
I hope everyone gets their closure and moves on, find their happiness(:
Though, as someone who didn't have a proper closure, it did take me more than a year to finally get up but I definitely am more happier now so thanks :)
Me too
The girl who had the ex who went to the military, they are so cute… they clearly still have some love for eachother or atleast didn’t end on such a bad note as some others did
I genuinely respect these people. I could have not been able to call an ex mainly because I can't figure out whether they'd be thrilled or disappointed lmao!!
ruclips.net/video/Linup3HVJCc/видео.html 😘😘
Hmm, many of them are basically just exploiting their ex's for a youtube video.
@@DoubleMonoLR that’s one way to look at it. 😄
this shows that communication is fucking key in any kind of relationships
What I like about this is the people taking ownership if the relationship failed. But to also see those people realizing that and then getting back together "possibly". You get a lot of shit for going back to an ex but people grow, learn, and change. Its always possible to do it right the next time.
The fact that he blocked him right after is so funny lmaoo😂😭
All they had to do was be accountable and honest. Glad some people still know how to be mature and communicate.
Respect to everyone who actually answered the question. That takes balls to tell the truth. It shows a level of maturity as well as how much someone has grown.
The issues with the military guy spoke to me, my boyfriend has a lot of the same issues and we have the same beautiful friendship. I hope we work out watching them reminded me even more of the blessing I have 💕
I pray things go well between you guys. God bless 💓
I definitely delete exes numbers, text threads & Socials i leave no doors open lol i always thought it was weird when people keep all that
nahh, that feels immature. you can still be friends with your ex unless shit happens then yeah ill nuke everything of theirs
I do that when they deserve it. Had a manipulative ex that kept trying to rope me back in cuz I was weak. Then my first ex immediately after breaking up with me starting being petty and posting pics with a new person.
@@callhard depends from which perspective you view it. Generally speaking a break up equals to move on. Breaking up as in Breaking off of that person. If keeping text threads, pictures and so on drag you down then getting rid of them is pretty mature and reasonable. But I agree, to keep being friends with your ex is possible and awesome. Though some circumstances do not allow to make such work out and that is perfectly fine as well :).
I purge everything after a breakup also, delete numbers/block them on everything. I want nothing to do with them when it’s an official breakup. I remember people saying “that’s so immature of you to pretend he doesn’t exist!”…like ok? SORRY if I don’t want to be best friends with my ex’s?? Like wth? Mind your business because this is how some people start moving on
@@Akamai_25 I thought like that too, but if you considered your ex a best friend when you were dating them, and you had similar personalities…then why not give it a chance? Just a thought.
I honestly love how they were all (mostly) self-aware enough to say on their part what they did wrong. I love how they explained their part rather than jumping at them saying "you did this wrong".
To the girl at 2:30 please don’t out with that guy again . The only thing he said was “having sex was fun” 🙄
This can be heartbreaking as hell.
we need more channels like cut. they always find the most chill group of folks to do these interviews. like the bravery to call an ex out of nowhere. oml.
The amount of accountability in this video is unmatched.
True
It's nice to see most of these exes are quite calm. If I were to call my ex I'm sure we'd get into a huge argument 🌝
😂😂😂
Lol same
right all i was thinking about was if i called i wouldnt even get a hello just straight screaming and insults that led into an argument and if he knew i called for a video i wouldnt hear the end of it lol
All your fault, too.
I have much respect for the people on the phone who admit where they were wrong.
I relate to military guy. As a person who grew up as an introvert, talking to people and communicating was one of the hardest things for me.
That's not the Definition of an introvert mate
@@sola_a introvert - a shy, reticent person.
Reticent - not revealing one's thoughts or feelings readily.
like I said, an introvert. I normally don’t like revealing my thoughts or feelings to someone because I always thought “no one cares, so why waste the breath”
I was shy as well, i just didn’t like talking to people.
With that mindset, I just stay away from people as much as I can. Maybe “introvert” isn’t the right term to label my “problem”. I’m sorry if I upset you.
@@sola_a it is 💀?
Everyone talking about the military dude and the best response to me was "I wanted all the good things that cane with a relationship but I didn't know how to handle that". That was real af.
The maturity thing with nancy's ex, I felt that on another level with my ex
“Ily byee” 😂😂 i like that they made ily a word
The guy at 4:57 - he’s adorable and seems to be such a genuine and honest person.
Ilah is like the person everyone wishes they had in their life. At least as a friend, or even as an enemy. She just has to be there. No cap.
So that IS Ilah!
She's awesome. Glad to see the past three years hasn't made her into any less sweet of a person.
6:05 her voice is so soothing
It's really refreshing to see so many exes understanding their part in the relationship ending
awww ilah & the military dude rlly seemed like they have great chemistry! hope they reconnect & become friends again :)
3:07 “are you alive?” “I AM ALIVE” my favorite part LOLS
he said it with such ease
2:20 like oh yea... bc i cheated, next question.
Yeah it already happened, no need to deny if both people already know
The ex girlfriend was hoping for a different explanation. Why??? He's a serial cheater. He cannot commit to monogamy. Dear me

the people who owned up to them being the reason the relationship didn't workout are so mature.
Kind of happy for the girl who's getting a fresh start. All exes are just decent people! Love it!!
It hit me hard

I really relate to the bloke who said he was in the military. I was living in Japan through the pandemic and tried to keep a long distance relationship going but ultimately the biggest problem on my end was communication. The idea of a long distance relationship is great, but it’s a lot easier said than done. Hope they’re both good now. 🙏🏼
Takes a lot of trust and effort :/ but possible
Being satisfied with only few days of meeting together and then miles apart is not everyone’s piece of cake
I will never do a long distance relationship again. That led to the downfall of my engagement, I'm pretty certain. But stupid me, I thought our love had been strong enough to withstand the distance for one year.
Two things I learned:
1) Love is not enough. You need to constantly reinforce that foundation, and when you're doing it from far away, it's not going to be as stable.
2) It can fall apart surprisingly fast. Don't take it for granted that the relationship is as strong as you think it is.
I was in Japan during the pandemic too! Were you in Tokyo?
The woman who said she didn’t have any numbers from any of her exes ……… she’s the one I would love to date. I am amazed how many people do have their exes numbers in their phone
The last one is called an assist! Blaine is a fuckin genius
When they ask the dude in 4:52 “are you blocking him again?” That is soooo me
Love the level of maturity and self awareness in some of these people
The girl with the bangs needs to consider her ex again. The lad sounds genuine, perhaps he’s better with communication now?
Ilah looks so good 😍 I didn’t even recognize her at first , this hair fits her for sure
everybody seems so mature and they actually owned up to how they hurt the relationship other than blaming the other person
5:40 - with his family blaming him, the way he telling it he makes it sound funny but I bet in reality it really hurts.
He lost feelings for her and decided to let the person know like a normal human being.
They got some of these people back together with their exes. 😂👌🏽
My two favorite cut members Curtis and the dude that always wears a suit w/ the curly hair. Keep them forever
And Ilah they all chill
Nah Curtis is annoying af
@@jamescallagher5876 nah he isn't
Kudos for the people who said they were the problem.
the lady whose ex was a serial cheater looked sad after that call. you guys definitely brought back unwanted memories
in the last one at 6:50, if distance rlly was the issue then he would have reconnected w her once he moved to the same state they were both in. plus that “yeah” at the end sounded pressured
"I'm not doing this shit. Call somebody else" *hangs up* THAT WAS RUDE!
I love how Cut always tries to end every video on a good note.
There no way… my ex would be this mature and calm.
Felt the military guy, STRUGGLING WITH THE COMMUNICATION RIGHT NOW AND AND FUCK GOD FUCK ITS FRUSTRATING BUT I CAN DO IT I LOVE HER I WONT LOSE HER
Dude just send her a screenshot of this comment. 🙌🏼 Sounds like you can communicate your feelings!
Tell her, as often as you can. I know it's hard. Things didn't work out between me and my military boo because of his lack of communication. I know some of it out was of his control, but even so I know things could have been different if we had just been able to communicate more often. Rooting for you ❤️
Communication is is fucking hard. When we have learnt to live with our emotions suppressed for a long time, we don't like feeling things and when we avoid feelings, we don't know how or what to talk about or communicate. Hope you find the root cause of the problem. All the best.
@@kalenalexisbeauty9102 I can communicate frustration better than I can what I feel in the moment… which was what our recent fight was about lmao. It’s honestly super stressful and before In my past relationships I’d get pessimistic and do things to break it off but I literally can’t allow myself to even think about doing some dumb shit like that. Which frustrates me even more. She loves me so hard I stopped self sabotaging my happiness.
@@weirdkimion damn, I’m sorry to hear that. I’m not one to typically go back but I hope you two at least remained friends. Because it honestly sucks when it doesn’t work out because of just… life. I hate knowing I might fuck up because of things that I can’t really control, but yeah I’ll try. I appreciate your words a lot
Wait. This kind of maturity is something I live for. I never understood hating an ex (obviously depends on the circumstances). Things didn’t work out, and that’s okay.
ilah looks so good!!! 🥺
She really did a glow up from her already glowing face
@das das 💯 true!
The way 'ily' was said as a word..AND THE TONE. Is sending me 💀I've been saying that all day to my bestfriend in the same tone 😂

I know right? I think they’ll find their way back together (if not already) 🥰
I don't like how ex's basically become strangers
Ik, it’s so sad how someone can be your everything but can then quickly become a stranger.
Sometimes you have too because if you remain friends they still think there's a chance with the relationship. Almost like you have to do it that way for both to fully move on with the least amount of hurt
@@avilla4013 That's not true, sometimes it's better to stay friends with your ex, and never date again...sometimes love works, and sometimes friendship is better...
@@augustrosepriv892. I tried to keep it cool with my ex but the more we talked the more she wanted us to continue. Had to cut off the communication to move forward
