    Please, for the sake of accuracy and avoid future ambiguities, would you Clarify for me the following:
    1)You are pointing out that the signal level injection = 17.2 dB; but I think it has
    to be instead = 17.2 dBm ( power level referred to 1mw)
    2) The Y axis in dB represent Attenuation level ( loss) ,and not Power in dB
    Please tell me where am I wrong or confused?

      @@Fajardani88 No the negative value represents that there is core cladding mismatch at the point of splice. This can happen when you splice two different types of cable.
