  • With Devin Booker being snubbed from another All-Star game, NBA players like LeBron James, C.J McCollum, and Jared Dudley speak out. Did the NBA get this right? Who would you replace?
LeBron James and many others are disgusted that Devin Booker wasn't selected to be in the All-Star game. I personally agree with the decision.

Chris Paul is the most disrespected. I think Lebron was saying basketball as a whole is lacking in fans. The number for the votes were probably the lowest they’ve ever been. Concerning to Devin Booker he probably is not even considered a star based on his support which translates to his pay. Chris Paul is vocal but Devin Booker probably is not and if people are voting on popularity(which they were) then devin booker was never given a fair chance. A lot of people don’t care about basketball players like they used too. It’s a shame because this is the golden year where talent is becoming freakish in the NBA and Wages are too.

Such a shame! You think the drop in fans has to do with the change in play style? How they officiate the game? Or that there are always clear favorites to win the title?

Agree with this take. Everybody can't make it, unfortunately it had to be Devin Booker

Great analysis. Devin just needs to leave the small market team!

Devin Booker is better than Donovan Mitchell. I understand the politics of the game so Donovan gets in this year because of his team's record (Ben Simmons got this treatment too this year), when in reality he hasn't gotten any better since being in the league, but we both know for all-stars, records shouldn't matter. Even the league knows this, or else Brad Beal wouldn't have made it, and his team is garbage. The disrespect comes in when Chris Paul gets a legacy bid, effectively snubbing his own teammate. Chris is a legend sure, but averaging 16 and 9 aren't all star numbers, especially when a teammate is getting more buckets than you and is more valuable to the team's success. I don't think he's the most disrespected player in the league, but comparing strictly player-to-player, the snub comes in for Paul and maybe Mitchell

See the thing with CP3 tho is he brings things to the game that don’t show in the box score. And if we are talking numbers, CP3’s assists make him responsible for almost just as many PTS book. Not to mention he avg more rebounds at 6ft. Hard to really say who is more responsible. Book has always been getting buckets, but the team as whole hasn’t been getting it done until CP3
