I don't follow the news or controversy much but my understanding of it is people were raising cane about this video saying it was racist and whatnot and a lot of people are defending it and the artist so I don't know. Some things stand out in certain cultures more than others but at the end of the day we all have hearts and minds. I just got finished enjoying some watermelon. That doesn't make it stereotypical. It tastes the same to you as it does me. Do some more Zeppelin porfavor. I enjoy watching you smile on your discovery. Genuine.
I give you credit for listening to the whole thing, but I find it disgusting especially given the mass shooting he was actually in. The cadence and the passion in his song Why was fantastic; it was a catchy song about “ why do I abuse you.” Again, disgusting but I used to listen to it. Bad on me. I listen to Blurred Lines too, (I love Pharrell) 😂, but I won’t listen to anything out of kid rocks mouth. You gotta find your own line. How bad does the person have to get before you call it quits on recognizing the art itself. This is not a condemnation of anyone, just a comment on my own struggle being a huge fan of all genres (except jazz) on where to draw the line myself.
