Great Job! I am a self taught artist and I also decided to share my own tutorials because I know how important they are to people who are just learning how to fiddle with sketch up. You can do it guys! Thank you for sharing.
I'm SCREAMING. You mean there's a deform geometry tool?! I've been manually calculating the rate of the bend for every brick I've made this whole time! Thank you so much for this tutorial haha
thanks a lot I am learning maya by watching tutorials from RUclips so that I can also record tutorials like u and help others 3D artist student like me
I think calling it a tutorial is a little wrong because there are many times I had to rewind because you were clicking things way too fast for me to process. That being said, I have learned a few things which will speed up my modelling so I guess in a way you did tutor me haha! Either, thumbs up and thanks
I disagree, was using Cinema 4D for some time, in Cinema interface is more friendly and easy to edit it how u like it. In MAYA it seems harder sometimes
Iam learning maya for 3days now(after 4 years in blender) I have to say that maya seems to be better for asset creation for games and its "industry standard(thats why i started to learn it) Blender is exelent soft too, but i will be using it just for visualizations(interior/exterior) design, because it have powerful node system and a lot better render engine, better work with materials, etc. And ofc, its free :) And Iam happy with using maya, a lot of functions are hidden for me now, but Iam able to create something like this well. And just after 3days! :)
hello, I have a problem in 0:57, it makes the cubes grow in one side and not the other (just, it doesn't want to make the move in the video 💀). Where is the problem from ?
Thank you for the tutorials, it help me so well. I want to ask you about moving vertex, it sometimes moves with the whole object, not only vertices and i dont know how to change it
@@IrisOgli Thank you for the reply, but I couldn't solve it. I selected the edges but an object is moving, also the other things. There is more problem, I selected vertexes and move it, it also moves an object not only vertexes. I do not know what happened. maybe some settings are different, but I do not know what's wrong with that.
Finding it hard to switch over from max used that for 2yr in college to going to uni and then on to Maya so I'll check this out and I hope i can be as good as I am with max 😰
@@IrisOgli I started this got around 5ish mins it's alright it's just more so finding the crap than anything else really haha I'll be sure to do your other tutorials too thanks
finished the whole thing, even changed up some things making it more diverse on the tiles and stuff, starting to get the hang of it a bit better from this ^ i really think you should consider doing an Unwrap tutorial cause that shit loool no no haha
If you add your voice or show hotkeys on screen it'll be more easy for beginners like me.
Yes me too
Yes I'm agree with @Aqsa
One of the best tutorials i have seen on RUclips for maya.
Great Job! I am a self taught artist and I also decided to share my own tutorials because I know how important they are to people who are just learning how to fiddle with sketch up. You can do it guys!

Great tutorial! What would be the best method of uv mapping the bricks for texturing?
Thank you very much, the video is very useful, hope you will release many new videos and help everyone to gain useful knowledge.
Maya = best 3D software !
This is true, I am uninstalling 3DS Max in a couple days (my institute asks for me to use it) this software keeps crashing every second.
I disagree, was using Cinema 4D for some time, in Cinema interface is more friendly and easy to edit it how u like it. In MAYA it seems harder sometimes
Also to me it was EZ to learn Cinema, cuz hotkeys are same as in Adobe Programs, Unity and SketchUp. But in MAYA its different
have you tried Blender???

Wow! Tx for this! You are helping me a lot!
Very nice.. Thanks for this tutorial
If it's not working for you at :25 double click on the move tool and turn off Transform Constraint.
I was stuck for a hot 3 minutes.

@@IrisOgli oh thank u so much 😄
Thank you so much
Great tutorial! Thanks!
Thank you for this video
I started making soft recently, I was wondering if you wanna do any features.
y isn't the grab tool working properly? I tried but this tool moves the whole polygon instead of just forming a dent type of thing
Sorry to hear that , you can reset Maya by delete the preference and try again...
Watch this no faster that 0.5 speed.
Nice
Its attractive how calm tNice tutorials guy is
wonderful bro!
Muito bom!
Simple and clear. Thanks. Only one thing: if bucket in the well, then there must be free space for the rope on the cylinder. but it's trifle. :)
i hope theres another tutorial for lighting and rendering the well.
Thank you !
Thank you :)
master :D
Tutorial is best.
Love this tutorial. I wonder what is Ctrl+G for you?
Thanks for the tutorial! btw do you just make it all up as you go, or do you have it all planned out?
Helped me a lot thanks
Awesome well modelling ahh life as a 3D modeller superb ...its very helpful for me as i'm studying Animation & VFx from INDIA
Me too. I learn from youtube yaar (means friend). Just 15 bro
Can you do a tutorial on texturing it?
4:53. How can I move the loop cut? you used the scale tool to move it, but when I tried to it, scaled the cylinder, not the loop cut.
@@IrisOgli Thank you for the reply, but I couldn't solve it. I selected the edges but an object is moving, also the other things. At 1:17 when I rotate the second layer every block moves individually instead of as a one :(
The clearest instructions for how to model. awsome work!
Ur second video is private?
¡¡Hi!! Can you make a tutorial using nurbs?
top de mais ajudou muito
Hey, your videos really helped me get better at Maya. Thank you so much.

How you rotate your screen
Sa here bro
I have a small problem at 0:57 when I change the curvature it affect the brick like in the video, any ideas what i did wrong ?
NVM I managed to solve it , great tutorial
For some reason on the second box it will not let me enlarge it horizontally. Any help?
About 0:25
Yup but it just moves the cube
Yeah that was it thanks a bunch for the help, im new to the software btw.
At 1.46 when sculpting the bricks, mine just move around in the scene. What's the magic please?
Thank you, I've mastered it. Really like that sculpting tool :)
I LOVE YOU♥
at 3:22 I ctrl G, then ctrl D but it wont change position, what may be happening?
Instead happens when I change the Z axis, what the hell.
and why is it that changing the scale will change the translation ?
