Camping in the nearest wood or on the bank of the neighboring lake might be too boring for some thrills seekers. For those people we present off-road capable camper trailers that can go wherever your SUV can. Share your thoughts about this lineup in the comments
I drove the length of Africa in the 90s. I crossed the Sahara, and drove through the jungles of Cameroune, CAR and Zaire. It took 6 months......and I did it very confortably with far, far less kit than these silly trailers have. They are an encumberance, a burden, when you are properly off-roading. Much of the kit is just ballast. They are for look-at-me wannabees, posing for the benefit of their neighbours.
Would really like to see more family oriented off road campers, less overly expensive tear drops lol maybe something like Black Series Patron or Air Opus. Enjoyed the review though.
Hi, Ken. I won't mind that. But I will probably stick to RUclips library music. Will try to find something there.. would you like more energetic/calm/rocking tracks?
Rooftop tents? How can I charge someone 2000 or 3000 for a 250 dollar tent? Off road RV? I hunt and tent and camped for years. It's really hard on the average person. I finally got a small RV and a comparable mattress was #2 HEAT was #1 If you buy a camper without heat just get a 250 tent and a cot instead.
Warning to people, Moby1 had a lawsuit against them for taking a trailer for repairs and taking the money and never fixing the trailer, plus a bunch of BBB complaints for taking deposits and not delivering on the products
Agree on the Patriot Campers. I haven't seen anything that can match it in its class. And they shouldn't have wasted time on the MDC trailers - they are cheap, Chinese made rubbish.
I love the teardrop style trailers. The other trailers like the conqueror is awesome but to big for many trails also the pricing is very reasonable for the applications they r intended for. Although it is true u can get a 5th wheel trailer for these prices but then again u won’t c a 5th wheel travel trailer on a backwoods trail either. Love the video, BTW n e one of these companies want to donate one of these awesome trailers so I can do a review? N e one of these trailers will do, I’m just saying. Lol!!!
Jesus man, all these SUPER expensive trailers all the way to the ones that are made with a majority of wood..... All that and you guys left off THE best trailer out there BAR NONE for quality, price, equipment, durability and off road clearance; The Off Grid Expedition 2.0. Even the vaunted Conquerors are mostly steel and tend to rust out bad near salt water areas and for us, that was just as big of a no go as a mostly all wood trailer was. We looked at most ALL of these trailers including Bruders low end trailer and even some not on this list, and the Off Grid trailers capped the field most every time, considering price, materials, off road capabilities and durability. Best out there IMHO.
I suggest Aliner Scout Lite Off Road Edition. Only $8500 and a lot more practical than most of these overkill status symbols. An Aliner Scout Lite weighs 1100 lbs. is about 6.5' x 10' I just towed mine to Alaska and back with a Jeep JK. I don't see ANY overlanders using Aliners, just all the same look-a-like teardrop designs you can not stand up in.

Very nice trailers but until it is more economical these are for the rich guy who wants to go camping. Your average Joe who loves camping will not be able to afford this. Even the Trucks/4x4 hauling these trailers says Cha Ching!!!
@@MustSeeTech I love that #1 Turtle back expedition That is perfect for what I do. Small compact and I can pack everything I need for weekend get away or just a good week of get away.
You guy's need to check out the off-road teardrop campers (XS510) from www.socalteardrops.com and let us( the viewers ) know what you think!! Thank you for all your hard work and help !! Big fan
MDC never heard of those trailers cheap full range up to prize fighter tough. Another new brad never heard of TDK all wood(cheaper). Most every1 is going poly panel/aluminum unless trying to keep cost down. I SEE a major slit w/ppl wanting small go anywhere live go cheap price or rock hard small forget price VS want as close to home on wheels & build quality budget &length & rig can handle. If u can afford diesel pusher & boat why buy a tear drop why camp at all mobile living till u get there, bc u already got there/made it. Unless feel the pain like going to the gym head thing slumming it w/rift raft camping lower class.
You guys who make all these camper trailers, are great and skilled in every aspect of these, you guys make it super hard to choose...outstanding
Hi. Thanks for the comment! The manufacturers should be flattered
I love the Conquerer. That is awesome

Hi, Andrew. Thanks for your support. If there is anything new in that market segment, I will make sure to report. Stay tuned
Great Post
Thanks!
It would be great if you added links in the comments for each company. Thanks for the post.
You should consider adding Patriot campers to your next list!
Hi, Thomas. I will! Thanks for suggesting it
Anyone up for a go-fund me campaign to get better music for these guys!🤯
Hi, Ken. I won't mind that. But I will probably stick to RUclips library music. Will try to find something there.. would you like more energetic/calm/rocking tracks?
I wish I could afford the Bruder EXP - 6 !!!!
See the goal, see no obstacles! Hope you Ill have it someday soon. Thanks for watching!
Australian Jurgens TuffTrax! Out perform all of these..
Thanks for the info. I will read up about it🙂
The one made in Oregon I like that's where I'm from

@@MustSeeTech do I have to do another driving license if I buy one ?

Hi, thanks for sharing. Which one is the best in your opinion?
The conqueror offroad from S.Africa is the best it's possible to get it in EU ?
Hi there. Thank you for the question. I believe they deliver to almost every country in the world. You can confirm at conqueror4x4.com
Good vid but should have patriot campers x1 🤙

FYI #3 TDK now out of business... guess their limited run didn't get them over the hump to keep going.
Moby1 is finished also.
Thanks for the update

Does the Escapod comes with a fridge option?
Hi, Barbara. It should come with a pull-out fridge option
May I suggest you to also add the UK manufactured Opus inflatable camper trailer in your next list? it's an amazing product!
Good day. I think Opus was mentioned in my previous video ruclips.net/video/iMBxe9a1mM4/видео.html
@@MustSeeTech thank you for your feedback, I'm sorry I wrote about the Opus without knowing you already mentioned it in another video.

Would be great if you had a narrator who sounded like a human being. I left at about the 30 second mark.
Too bad you made your conclusions after just 30 seconds. Maybe you should have continue watching instead

Hi, Sean. Will take a look. Thanks!
if you’re going to do a voiceover, you need to be able to speak every single word crystal clear. i could barley understand what you were saying.
Feel free to turn on subtitles. They are pretty accurate
Music is horrible!!
The computer voice makes this video hard to watch.
Hi, sorry you feel that way. Just an FYI, I narrate all of the videos on this channel myself. I am against computerized voiceover

Holy cow overpriced...u can get a 42 ft fifthwheel for those prices..
Hi, Rene. Do you mean a used or a new one?
Which doesn't go off road. So as a comparison with off road camping trailers: there isn't one.
Overpriced most of these for me
So much nope 👎!!! Recruit a freaking narrator. I couldn’t finish the video.
Talk faster please
You can speed up the video. There is a special feature on RUclips.
MDC camper frames are made in China and are total crap.
