Triggered_Atheist he is trying to show that he understood even though English is not his first language, proving that this was well explained. That’s all.
I'm a complete utter n00b when it comes to tech stuff on minecraft. Your channel is the BEST thing I've found for tutorials. Everyone else makes them in this Lets Play style and won't cover a third of what you need to know when you know nothing. These videos are great!
You said yesterday that you were an Engineer....I was going to tell you to try I.E Mod....and you surprised me with this first spotlight.....jejeje Very nice....waiting for next episodes.. thx again.
+Zep Verwimp Thanks, I will! I'll try to focus on IE until most is covered. Not saying I won't play other things as well, but I probably won't do any other tutorial videos until I feel finished with the major parts of the mod.
+ChsBerger9 Since Morgan Freeman might be in the top five most awesome voices I've heard that's a quite nice compliment... So thanks for that! Glad you like my Swenglish as well! :)
I don't know. Unsure of what techguns is, but every modpack is a little different so mod behavior can differ depening on what settings are set for the pack.
+APOSTOLRAUL I don't know, because I haven't looked into it. I'm not a friend of the multiple ore race that has been going on, some mods giving up to 5x the input... I think ore doubling is ok, and if it would give 3x outcome it should involve some advance and expensive process first. But there is a config file, feel free to look into it. And you could contact the mod team and ask them if you don't find anything yourself.
“Some mods giving up to 5× the input”… sounds like you’re taking shots at RotaryCraft’s Extractor there. Just wanna say, it’s no cakewalk getting that thing properly working. I feel the multiplier is justified due to the complexity required in running it, but that’s based on my own experience with the mod.
Haha, I know RotaryCraft gives a lot, but it's not the only one. Actually, I think the Extractor is too easy. I built a setup in my third season of let's play (speedplay) and I think it was too easy to get the extractor running. It takes a lot of time to learn the mechanics, but once you know how to do it I don't think it's a hard setup. Plus - you probably don't need to run it on every ore, just on selected ones, which would make the power part easier :)
+EpYkmonkey I haven't looked into it in detail yet, but if I fear that it would be too time consuming I don't think I will play it. But I would like to!
+Zep Verwimp I have started twice but discarded them for various reasons... I've had time issues and prioritized other things instead. So I will, but I don't know exactly when I will be able to make a series. I could also continue on the Dark Trilogy series, there is plenty of stuff to do there - speedplay or not :)
Other than purely for looks, I don't see any advantage in building these machines instead of smaller, simpler, and less exensive Ender IO and Thermal Expansion machines. Am I missing something?
Well, basically, you're right. But not all modpacks have all those tech mods installed. And to be honest, I appreciate the multi-block structures since they make more sense compared to single block machines that we find in many other mods.
If you simply play the game for most profit or productivity to beat the game quickest way possible, then you would use those machines but if you want to make machines that closely resemble 20th century factorys (with a little imagination) and make cool factory with intricit wires and other cool things than you play this mod. Ive been playing for 3 days straight, ive got 3 greenhouses down, an empty factory building a building for farm animals and a massive building with 4 6x6 smelterys (tinkers construct). i haven't even touched many mods yet. but that is just my playstyle. We all have our own. See my friend has been playing for 5 and he has force shields, digital miners and quantum quarrys and shit, but still operates out of a ditch. He plays for maximum profit and productivity. May i restate that we all have our own play styles. (im sorry if i sounded rude in this comment, no intentions for that( its 2am D:)) (All the mods mudpack) ;P
Exactly, mods should not be compared, because they have different purposes and styles. If I made a mod that with a click give 10x multiplier ores, infinite power and impenetrable armor it would be "better" than all mods out there. But I'm quite sure noone would play it because of obvious reasons ;)
i have this problem: Caused by: java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: net.minecraftforge.oredict.OreDictionary.doesOreNameExist(Ljava/lang/String;)Z ImmersiveEngineering{0.7.7} [Immersive Engineering] (ImmersiveEngineering-0.7.7.jar) Unloaded->Constructed->Pre-initialized->Errored can you helpme?? thanks
I'm sorry, it's hard for me to help with error logs here. And not enough info either. A tip: use pastebin and paste your entire crash log there, then it's easier to share all information. And everything is required. Contact the mod devs (they usually want it on github where most of the mods are managed).
There's a bug with the crusher. About 1 month ago we were playing on a modded server with friends and one of them threw a torch in my crusher. It killed the map, couldn't launch the server again. I think it may crash with every non-minerals item.
+TKH Yeah i should report it. Perhaps it's a modpack issue. (We were using the DNS techpack, ftom the AT launcher) I'll send the crash report to both the mod author and the modpack's creator. Anyway it was just to know if you'd ever heard about this annoying bug , and to warn your viewers. I'm french and i can understand everything in your tutorials, so i love your vids. Thanks for one of the best immersive engineering tutorial and don't stop your vids :).
+Louis Renck I just remembered to try this in my "tutorial pack", and nothing bad happens with a torch in the crusher - it just gets destroyed. So that bug might be in an older version of the mod or something. Try to upgrade and try again in a creative world or something and see if that works better. Thanks for the support, so happy to hear that you like my videos!! :)
+GurtBFroe Hehe, wrong mod if you want to talk about Certus Quartz, I have plenty of AE2 videos for that. You can't double them like metal ingots, but then can be grown into Pure Quartz and then you will get double the amount.
Oh, I was just wondering if I could use this mod for the AE2 quartz so I can get more fluix crystals. Ah, well. Thanks anyway. I still have lots to learn about the AE2 mod.
+GurtBFroe You can maybe grind the crystals into dust so you can make seeds, but it wouldn't be any different from normal AE2 things after that. Just follow that series and you'll be an expert within no time! :)
got more expensive from the start since this video, now 6 steel ingots makes 12 steel rods makes 4 iron fences, instead of 16. And hey, mods change. Change is the only constant :)
To be fair, ore doubling is one of the most time saving processes in modded minecraft (since it cuts farming ores in less than half), I never had any issues with that being a bit expensive :)
It also is a bit more realistic, the mod's handbook pokes fun at "magical" 1x1 blocks that give ore tripling like the SAG Mill from Ender IO. Plus the machines look amazing and in the end you'll have more ore than you can even use anyways.

I have made many IE tutorial videos, they are all gathered in the same playlist so you can find what you need there. For some reason I decided at the time to move power generation to a later episode, however, if you watch all the videos you'll get all info you need :)
I'm french and i understant everything, it's simple and well explained. Your tuto are awesome gg.
and why do you have to tell everyone you're french?
@@triggered_atheist619 Why can't he tell that he's French? It's his right if he wants to tell people if he is French or not.

Great tutorial that still holds up 5.5 years later!

Great tutorial - well planned, good flow of information, easy to follow. Very well done!
Thanks! Glad you liked it :)

This tutorial really helped and I really like it. Thank you so much. :)
This was extremely helpful, thank you for making these tutorials
Thank you man i really need this, i was totally lost with this mod :)
My friend also said thanks
Thank you, so glad to hear that :)

First episode in a new Minecraft mod tutorial series: Immersive Engineering! First: Material Handling.
+TKH where is the link to the mod?
+TKH Your voice is so calming and just wonderful.
oh thank you
Thanks! This video helped a lot! 👍🏻
TKH are you swedish
thank you for your IE tutorials
Great video! Very easy to follow. Thanks.
THANK YOU so very much for this tutorial video!!!! This is great!

Great tutorials and great mod :D

good tutorial. Well planed. But why you need the arc furnace if you can use the smeltery?
So you need this for techguns?
I don't know. Unsure of what techguns is, but every modpack is a little different so mod behavior can differ depening on what settings are set for the pack.
Is there anyway to edit the config files to make the Crusher yield 3 times more instead of doubling the ores?
+APOSTOLRAUL I don't know, because I haven't looked into it. I'm not a friend of the multiple ore race that has been going on, some mods giving up to 5x the input... +EpYkmonkey I haven't looked into it in detail yet, but if I fear that it would be too time consuming I don't think I will play it. But I would like to!
I Can't Find The Redstone Energy Cell In The Creative Menu. Plz Tell Me If It Is In A Different Mod.
You can see the modlist in the video description. It belongs to the Thermal mods.

Same as most mods I think; power generation, item handling, ore extraction, weapon production and general helping items.
