- This is to complement Rakerman's emotive offering suggesting we have seen the last of the sun. Ploughing here by Danyrheol with JD 7810 and 5-furrow Kverneland. Some couch causes problems from time to time. Rain caused more - as rain drops on the lens ruin the take. Anybody know of a shower-proof camera with big lens hood to keep off rain? After this I got offered a cab ride to dry out - thanks Steve. Carmarthenshire Wales UK
Rain does not stop a Play on this job 👍
Correct!
Thanks very much.
Great video Alan.
Some farmers over here are watering their crops.
Temperatures for the next 2 days are over the 30 degree celcius.
Hendrik
In Portugal even in winter watering is needed… and water systems are super expensive
Thanks Hendrik. No need to water the crops here. We need a week or two of dry just to get in the harvest!
Fantastic well done! Just hear that purr....... :D
You mean that purr of the rain . . . ? (Only joking). Thanks for commenting.
i may have mentioned this before, but I still love the 10 series Deeres....
You're not alone, Dave . . .
Yes, straight in, no messing (if it doesn't get too wet!!)
Great - I am so glad!
how many km/h is the ploughing speed??
Hi Wayne
Yes, that red sandstone is a very well-drained soil. Soon dries out, too, but not this year.
Thanks Pat. Here, again. today plus wind!

Anther vid so soon mate? Fantastic!!! Great JD sounding perfect as always great vid!
Yes, well when I get four copyright complaints on four videos that have no music at all, it doesn't endear me to the idea of using music at all!
Well, it's been raining and blowing all day and I thought folk might want cheering up a bit - so they can see me getting wet and have a laugh!
i remember that tractor well
Ah, the memories!
HI Alan.
What is the next crop to be harvest at your place?
Next video is coming up.
Hendrik
They don't grow a lot of corn for grain, round here. Offhand, I can't think of one . . .
Whole Crop silage not finished - more grass - then Maize (if it's worth harvesting)
Your treating us Alan! Any harvest round you yet?
Hi Alan
he may be ploughing in the rain but that soil looks pretty dry.
BALMESH é uma empresa ou uma família produtora de silagem ou leite?
É uma empresa familiar, a produção de leite.
How many consume fuel per hectare
I'm sorry, I have no idea. Not my tractor.
Which one? I Always comment on your videos unless they are awful (have you done an awful one yet?) Probably one that Yt hasn't told me about. I'll look tomorrow, but it's near sleepy time for old 'uns!
Hahahahahahaha! No problem!
