This is the exact set up I used to use about 12 years ago, fantastic combo. When I used to plough heavier ground I would have the right hand door open to hear hear purr!
Thanks Alan, i am an educated farmer from Bavaria, but without job and farm and have to earn my money in an office...your videos make me longing for farmworks :-) ( excuse my English)
lovely video! i saw that sumo box at the cereals show, it has a space for parts/tools. nice bit of kit. we're struggling here,a few people with auto reset ploughs are having to hire in shear protected ones just to get in the ridiculously hard ground!! i start ploughing on monday i think, so not really looking forward to that :)
To lukasmcphillips There's a band of red soil runs across our part of Wales and this is part of it - it's wonderful, early and warm. Where I was on maize yesterday is on the same band - it's only about a mile across but goes for miles.
Yes, some tractors can pull a plough and pull a seed drill as well, but usually only on good light soil. The plough, too, would have to be smaller than usual or the tractor bigger. Nothing for nothing in this life! Most farmers hang the biggest plough they can, to get the ploughing job done as soon as possible.
hello, can some machine plow and plant at the same time..(like only one attachement?).. also after the land is plowed in this manner, is it ready for seeding or does more work have to be done before planting? thank you so much for the info

Great video. He even found himself some extra weight for the front. Same tractor my dad has.
beautiful 7810 must have been one of the last made shame tractors these days are not made like that any more !

Nothing sounds better than a John Deere 7010. What a impressive, formidable machine.
I was about to write "someone pick up that rock", but you already did. Very nice tractor and great ploughing.
Nice outfit and tasty ploughing. Those 7810's are still a great machine.

Yes - I'd have kept the video running but I wasn't sure what he'd stopped for. I'm afraid there are others out there who don't!
No Roundup used to kill old vegetation?
To canvids1
Thanks Wayne. You'll be glad to see that slurry disappearing! All the fields that were treated are being ploughed.

Yes, he obviously thought it handy because he didn't remove it at the hedge!
Thank you for that. Can you get out at weekend with a camera?
