I feel they are gambling that he stays healthy and not even thinking about that possibility. Would love your take on this.

Maybe keep all the draft capital and get AB of the couch and give him a month to get into game shape & learn the playbook. Vet min and incentives for games played to keep him inline plus a shot at redemption and retiring a Steeler. AB at 60-70% might be a lot better than anyone available now and just cost us cash. Get a 1st or 2nd round outside WR next year. If AB doesn’t pan out, it only cost cash and at least we tried to improve the room.

I don’t know what makes Dk think that there not looking at all opportunities to get A receiver lol it’s A business you can’t just make people sell you there receiver for what you’re willing to pay and no no smart GM is going to mortgage there draft capital especially A early round pick for A number 2 receiver pay him and if he’s old you only have him for A year or 2 that doesn’t make any sense to pay an aging number 2 receiver millions of dollars for one year in hopes of A superbowl that’s not guaranteed either way with that being said yes I believe the Steelers will do there best to upgrade that position before the deadline but it definitely won’t be costing us second round draft picks
