    The main problem with Russ is that he's a consummate professional. That rubs a *lot* of people the wrong way because he goes out of his way to be positive, to say the right things, and to control the narrative. They see him as being "corny" or "inauthentic"; but it is what it is. To be honest; it's something more athletes should strive emulate.

    • @dabur74

      He's a man of God. He's positive. He's enjoying his life. He feel blessed. I wouldn't ever knock that. He maybe corny, as some people say, but what that got to do with what he does on the field. I wouldn't ever hate someone for being different. Much respect to Russ!

      @@ci6516 Quoting the Bible like it's scientific paper with some fact based evidence is laughable 😂! Russ is inauthentic but people put up with it since he had 9-10 Pro Bowls selections on the bounce...even then, he had to be stage managed with running it on 1st and 2ns down with Marshawn or Carson before he could use his deep ball skills with Lockett, Baldwin, DK or whoever.

    • @tomsea6017
      @tomsea6017 29 дней назад +12

      @@seshubeshu5959 This type of thought is inexcusable sad, especially for people who think like you and speak as if scientific evidence is the only form of evidence there is. That very idea itself isn't scientific so one would expect self-proclaimed intellectuals to know that but of course we also know most of you have no idea what you're talking about. He is who he is. If the Bible brings useful ideas and perspectives for good living, so be it. It's his life. But spare us the dimwitted attempts to diminish viewpoints you don't understand, let alone be capable of aptly critiquing.

    Mr. Russell Wilson is a stand-up man! He is a leader as well as motivator. Look no further than week 7 when he took complete command of the offense. Russ is going to cook for the Steelers because of the way Coach T has treated him thus far. Stark contrast from the way S. Payton treated him during his stay in Denver regardless of his numbers. He was one of the only QBs to beat both Buffalo and KC last season. Welcome to Da Burgh!!!

      [8:39] Would have liked for him to end his career many years later as a Bronco. He was practically hand picked by Elway himself… Feels like a totally missed opportunity…
      Last year was his first in a new offense with a new coach who was very unscrupulous… With nearly identical stats to last season including sacks, he won a Super Bowl, which makes one believe the team and coaching failed him more than he failed them…
      After all, he did not give up 70 points and 700 yards to the Dolphins. Payton clearly made the play calling, and personnel decisions… Let’s be honest his supporting cast on Denver’s offense was nothing compared to what it is in Pittsburgh… The Steelers RB2 and WR2 could have been the the Broncos RB1 and WR1 (Compare the stats)…

    I always said Sean Payton never gave Russell a chance. I thought the number one reason for bringing in a quarterback is to beat Patrick Mahomes, and the Chiefs? Russell proved that he could do that last year when the Broncos beat the Chiefs breaking a 13 game losing streak. Bo Nix has shown flashes of potential but needs A LOT of work to develop. Russell is a proven HOF veteran with years of experience and hungry to win more world titles. If the Broncos and Steelers makes it to the playoffs, Denver better hope they don’t face a Pittsburgh Steelers team led by Russell Wilson. Rookie Bo vs proven veteran Wilson?🙄 What was Denver thinking??

    I ❤ that we signed RW, he will silence all the doubters JF, is not ready to lead this 🏈 team RW, throws the best deep ball and has more knowledge of running an offense

    I think people are bit premature in hyping up Russ, there were some incredible catches by Pickens on 3rd down that even he can't make on a consistent basis, catches that most time will wind up incomplete and in these drives, would've been instead a punting situation rather than an eventual score...we need to see more than one game of this to see how much its Russ and how much its his WRs and some luck.

    I think the big question with Rus is that can he recognize that he's not the athlete he used to be? His play making ability isn't there anymore. Can he learn to throw to the middle of the field? Because if you followed him in his time in Denver it was a lot of moon balls and checking it to the flats. It made him predictable and very limited. He's been in the league for 13 years, does he have the awareness to get better?

    • @yngnation
      @yngnation 29 дней назад +6

      If Russ tried to get Pete fired, Pete would have said so when Mike Florio asked him directly. Pete was desperate not to get fired & turned heel. He would not have held back; instead, Pete just glossed over the question. And Pete sure as hell would not have taken a picture w Russ cheesin when he actually did get fired if this were true. John & front office would also not have sent Russ the throwback jersey if Russ tried to get John fired. Russ straight up said he didn't. Now go heal.
