That's because in his Chinese voice lines what he originally says can be translated as "I don't like Batman. The mission of protection, hatred makes heroes, pain is a man's badge of honor... that's stupid, I would rather my parents and Paulina were still alive."! which is understandable that Marvel and DC fans took it personally...
