She has heard from Father, don’t give in, don’t stop believing, keep moving and looking forward. Keep working were the LORD has and he will move you when it is time.
Yes I know for certain that my God has already done it. This promise He has given me. Thank you for the Word Mary I must persist and not give up. I am hindered by the grief and pain. Its been a time of stretching and breaking but also of growing and healing. I must not let the darkness win but transform this mind to conform to His will and purpose. To obtain the prize run the race and have that joy and hope which you have Mary.
You truly rock Mary! I feel like you are my soul sister, the synchronicity is just always a direct hit. From the day that I finally answered Jesus' call, and clicked on one of your videos til now, its been strong, strong, strong!
I truly truly truly needed this word🥲🤗🥰 !!! Confirmation of a prayer request I had also! Glory to Christ Jesus almighty Way Maker! Thank you and blessings overflow for you dear Sister in Christ! Hallelujah!
I believe this word is for me. He tells me to rely on him to give me strength. He says I know you are hurting, and I will release you soon. Wait and you will learn the true intent of love. I am pressuring, praying, meditating, everything... waiting for my answer to come! I wait with expectant heart. Thanks for this message which I really needed as encouragement.
Yes! It's so.. flat sometimes. Persistence. But those confirmation by way practical every day things Or any Gifts of The Spirit. there is joy there. The Lord values faith in his promises above all. I have noticed nothing builds faith like being able to hear in the language of the gifts we have been graced with anchored in scripture. Holding to the promise that has been spoken in the heart by that unique relationship with God. But not by pushing or grasping... but shamelessly asking? It seems to be rewarded so :)
I receive it father God your promises are Yes & Amen it's mine I already have it I receive it I believe it I Retreat it thank you Jehovah in advance thank you Jehovah it's my portion it's time now Rhema word hallelujah
So basically, we're to not give up and pray and pray and pray. But if we really think about what Jesus taught us about prayer in Mark, it seems to be contradictory. A paradox... We're to ask and _BELIEVE THAT WE RECEIVED IT._ Think about this. If you believe that you received what you've asked for, if it's yours already, then why keep on asking for it? The Matthew 7 passage seems to combine the two. Ask, seek, and knock aren't just different words describing the same thing. If you ASK for something, and BELIEVE it's yours, and yet it's obviously not in front of you, then it's time to get moving and SEEK it. Once you seek it and find it, the next step would be to claim it (KNOCK). Now in some English Bible translations, we're told ask, seek, and knock. However the original ancient Greek verbs indicate continuous action, which is why the NLT translation says _keep on asking, keep on seeking, keep on knocking._ But now let's go deeper into another part of the paradox... What would you say is the most repeated prayer in all of recorded history? If you said, "The Our Father" you'd be right. Also called the Lord's Prayer, it goes like this... Matthew 6:9-13 NLT - Pray like this: Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us today the food we need, and forgive us our sins, as we have forgiven those who sin against us. And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one. BUT, now look at what Jesus said right BEFORE giving us this prayer... Matthew 6:7-8 NLT - When you pray, don’t babble on and on as people of other religions do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. Don’t be like them, for your Father knows exactly what you need even before you ask him! Are you really confused yet? Here are two things to ponder deeply as you dive into the idea of repeating your requests before God as you pray... 1. God isn't wanting to nag Him to change His mind about your request. Part of the purpose for the repetition is to change YOUR mind... maybe about the appropriateness of your request, but also to bolster your faith until you get to the point where you CAN make your request, and truly believe that it will be granted. 2. It's not just about US. There is a spiritual war going on, and the bigger the consequences of your request in terms of winning people for God's Kingdom, and making your life a proof of His love and His involvement in our lives, the bigger your request is in that regard, the more resistance there will be from the enemy. Sometimes the persistence and repetition on our part isn't because we're resolving our doubt, but the opposite. We continue in prayer because we KNOW we're going to get results, but there's an enemy that needs to be defeated first. Even some of God's greatest prophets had to repeat their prayers until they got an answer. Daniel comes to mind... Daniel 10:12-13 NLT - Then he said, "Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer. But for twenty-one days the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia blocked my way. Then Michael, one of the archangels, came to help me, and I left him there with the spirit prince of the kingdom of Persia." If you KNOW with all assurance that what you're praying for is according to God's Will because it's according to scripture, like when you're asking for His Wisdom and His Holy Spirit for example, then absolutely, persist with your request, with determination. When you're NOT sure that you're asking for the right thing, still certainly repeat the prayer, but add a twist. Remember what Jesus said before the Lord's Prayer? It's not repetition in itself that's to be avoided. It's MINDLESS repetition. Ask for the same thing, certainly, but make it a CONVERSATION not a formula. Think about what you're asking, and like David in the Psalms, ask God to examine your heart and remove those things that aren't according to His will... Psalm 139:23-24 NLT - Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. Finally, some advice from Jesus's half-brother, James, might help... James 1:5-7 NLT - If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. James 4:2-3 NLT - You want what you don’t have, so you scheme and kill to get it. You are jealous of what others have, but you can’t get it, so you fight and wage war to take it away from them. Yet you don’t have what you want because you don’t ask God for it. And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong-you want only what will give you pleasure. And some more from Jesus Himself... John 15:7 ESV - *IF* you abide in me, *AND* my words abide in you, *{then}* ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. John 14:13-14 NLT - You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father. Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! I'm guilty of something. Because I was trained that way. Always end every prayer with "in Jesus' name". Like that's some kind of magic formula that makes the prayer valid and powerful, right? But let's think about that for a minute. What does it mean, to ask for something in Jesus's name? Or more specifically, "in the name of the King"? Think about Medieval times, and Kingdoms. If a representative of the King comes to your village and asks for your assistance or provision "in the name of the King" then you'd better hop to it and fulful the request! To do anything less would be treason! BUT what would happen if the King's representative started abusing that power, and asking for things that the King wouldn't approve of? What would happen to that servant when the King hears about it? Let's not hesitate to come to God, not just with petitions and requests, but in _conversation._ What God desires most from us is an _intimate relationship,_ not to be our cosmic vending machine. And the next time you ask for something in Jesus's name, ask yourself, is this according to His will? Am I abiding in His Word, His Teachings, not just with the thing I'm asking, but the direction my life will take if this is granted? Is this living in His Kingdom? Sorry for the wall of text. Got a little enthusiastic, and I type fast. :-)
