That is, hands down, the best gloss black paint job I’ve ever seen. Ditto the body work. Not a wave; not a ripple. Virtually as perfect as it gets. A work of art.
Thanks.. I appreciate that !
@@RustedNBustedwhat clear did you use??
@@EmekaIheanacho ppg
@@RustedNBusted what's better PPG 8152 or Glasurit P-C-30
@@EmekaIheanacho I'm not really sure. It's all about the preparation and then the polishing. The less uv protection in the clear the shinier the end result. Sherman Williams makes a nice garage queen clear. It's called Finish 1 Fc720.
Wow that car + that paint job 🤩😍
Thanks! It was a lot of work. But so worth it in the end
Stunningly Beautiful ...... WOW

Let's all be honest . We all want this guy to paint our cars like this😅
Thanks bro ! Appreciate the compliment.
Don't mention it bro. This job was done really good @@RustedNBusted
I'm a bit late to the party. But that looks amazing.
The party is still going on. Thanks for the compliment my friend.
@@RustedNBusted Shame you're not in the UK. You could've repainted my 96 Chevy Caprice.
Painting my 1995 5.0 JET BLACK BABY
What black did you use?
wow
Thanks !
Can you share your buffing process
Sure. It's cut with 1500 grit wet sandpaper. Then 2000 grit wet. Both with a block. Then I used McGuire's #10 ultra cut compound with a course foam pad. Then McGuire's #4 polish on a black foam pad. I waited 3 days to let the paint air dry before I started the process.
@@RustedNBusted rotary or da polisher?
@@Lsx-Mopar rotary on the lowest speed. Watch those corners. It will burn through fast .
Whats the cost for a job like this? I want this exact color on a ford bronco. And where are u located?
We are located in Hellertown Pennsylvania. Cost is different on every project. All depends on how much body work is involved. If you would like an estimate. You can contact me directly through our website. www.rustednbusted.com
Is that black metallic?
No it's solid black.
@@RustedNBusted I’m thinking about painting my chevelle tuxedo black. Is jet black and tuxedo black about the same darkness?
@@Mark-p6q3n Honestly I'm not sure. Jet black is a very deep black and looks great on an old muscle car.
Hi man, I have a question :
I was looking for the SAAB black paint ( jet black ) this video popped up , did you use a SAAB paint? custom done ?
Paint code is Ford UA. It's a great looking black
did you paint the doors and fenders seperately or all put together?
I painted everything all apart. Check out the 68 Dodge Charger ( part 5 ) video .
Whats the color code
Ford UA without adding all the colors that make it milky brown
What's the paint code, I want to paint my car like that
It's ford code UA. Leave out the white and yellow.
@@RustedNBusted thank you
How many coats?
What brand paint? Ppg?
Yes
@@RustedNBusted I've been looking and can't find the paint from ppg, did you use the envrobase jet black?
@@damnitdang I used PPG for the clear. The base coat was Nason. I left out the white and yellow in the formula. It's just jet black with a little blue.
@@RustedNBustedWhats better high end ppg or high end glasurit??
how many gallons ? how many coats of base coat and clear?
Parece color uva
Thanks
