Watching this video 11 months after the event is interesting... you and Ozzie discussing the corona virus and hearing both your comments, knowing what is happening now in 2021 in Malta is surreal... I only wish I could tell you both how it was going to end. I have to say though, Ozzie spoke alot of sense... hands, face, space, I hope he's OK wherever he is 😊👍❤ 🇲🇹

Getting used to seeing ghost towns now as it is the same everywhere. Thanks though Steve and your mate chattering away. There will still be a certain amount of people driving to work, all the hospital and care home staff, people who work at the power stations to keep the electricity and water going, people who work on farms and in the food industry getting supplies in to feed everyone. When this is over maybe everyone will realise that celebs and sports stars are NOT heroes at all. The ones who keep the country going in times like these are the heroes. Take care Steve.

walk little, This place is normally busy not lockdown, can go out social distancing , but all restaurants and bars, clubs. non-essential shops are all closed
Some people go outside thinking that not many people are going to be out anyway, and lots of people are thinking that, too many people think of the same places. People do need to get some fresh air and to stretch, so on. Even experts in virueses are telling people to go out and get some fresh air. Then you have the young people who have heard that only elderly people and people with weak immune systems can die from the disease, so they are acting like they are invincible. Some of them don't even seem to care that they could be carrying the disease and could wind up helping to kill other people. They basically refuse to let old people spoil their fun, that is how they are thinking.
@@EnglishmaninMalta The Maltese government had a way faster response, than a lot of other countries have, and the people there have been way more careful too. It's very interesting to watch yet sad in a way, because Malta being so uneventful, when normally it's so full of life. If someone told me last year that Malta would be so uneventful I'd think that person was wrong for sure. You probably could have danced in the streets without much problem, In Sliema that seems impossible, yet look at the proof.
