You may not be knowing but web weaving Spiders are nearly blind and soft bodied. They are completely dependent on vibrations. They don't even know if the prey stuck in web is dangerous or not. They only sense by movements and dodging isn't 100% successful. Eg:- A scorpion sting can remain entirely free with only legs getting stuck or a mantis front legs and body can remain free with only those 4 back legs stuck. Then the web weaver spider has to sense the strikes and dodge accordingly as it cannot see the way of attacks. It's skill based.
The Ogre faced spider is the only web weaver who isn't nearly blind and has decent eyesight.
