Watch the goalie on the first goal ...down on his knees before a shot is even taken he looks like crap.Most all goals are because goalies usually commit to their knees before they even see the shot.Goalies are the most over rated position in hockey they all play the same and are VERY predictable.
I agree 100%, it's ridiculous. I started watching hockey in the late 60's and it wasn't the norm back then. Every goalie stood up until he had to hit the ice. Tony Esposito is the only one I can remember that played a flop-down style.
You try scoring on an NHL goalie. Unless you've played professional hockey, I doubt you can.
