It doesn't look like it does here, right now it's a much more conventional setup, but I still lock it out. I have very flexible elbows so I can actually hyperextend it all the way back to parallel. Helps me get a lot of power
Your swing looks fine Gus. If you have good timing and can repeat it that's all that matters. I always had a little "lift" in my backswing as I was a runt growing up and it helped me generate more power. It just became a natural part of my swing. It didn't stop me from becoming a scratch golfer and becoming an assistant golf professional. It was once I started working with the head teaching pro and trying to get rid of that natural move in my swing that I went from scratch to mid single digit handicap. Either that or it might have been those 60-80 hour weeks they had me working. Who knew that I would play a lot less golf once I became a golf pro. 😏

I noticed u keep your left arm locked. Do u do that for most shots? Driver, long & short irons as well?
