@@carissaraeee7947 i worded that very poorly. when he puts out a new video/series the algorithm will push it to various people (subs other minecraft content viewers ect.) when you’re updating an old series the algorithm works differently. aka when it’s number 4 in the survival chunk series it gets pushed to less people than this video. wattles and hundreds of others have half finished series because of that. i still watch them either way

When basing at a desert village you can grab some more dirt while in the jungle and fill in some of the farm water channels for more farmable area. The farm only needs one square of water but instead there are several. As long as you leave one strip of three for an infinite source of course. Here's a challenge: find a sheep and start a wool farm in the desert.
When in a desert village I breed the livestock ASAP and look for an oak sapling. I look in caves for dirt then terraform the village to grow trees and crops. I also start topping off sugar cane and planting it around the ponds.

When 1.20 started I ended up in a desert/mesa biome,. I’m not a great player and was about to redo, but I found an azalea tree, and I made my desert bloom.
Wattles maybe build a tomsstone for that 1st pickaxe that broke or maybe dedicate that one u build near your house also i want to thank you for all ur vids i really like them and i get a lot of inspiration for my own worlds because im not very skilled builder like you. Keep it up man.
