  • Module 1 of the Networking Fundamentals course will illustrate the core of networking: How data moves through the Internet. Crucial to that is understanding the various Network Devices which exist to accomplish that goal. In Lesson 1 we'll unpack the following devices and related concepts: Hosts, IP Addresses, Networks, Repeaters, Hubs, Bridges, Switches, Routers.
This is a two part lesson. In this video we'll explore Hosts, IP Addresses, and Networks. In the next lesson we'll explore Repeaters, Hubs, Bridges, Switches, and Routers.

By far the simplest, clearest, neatest networking fundamentals course in RUclips. Congratulations.

Thank you you so much for compiling all the lessons and sharing them. I am looking for a career change and I am new to IT. I am currently taking to the Google IT Support Certification course. It is rather a challenge for a newcomer like myself. I feel like all the videos I watch are just scripted and the "instructor" is just reading what's been put in front of him. There really isn't much of an explanation or clear and concise understanding of whats going on. Your videos have been helping me understand these concepts further, esepcially your subnetting mastery videos! My google "instructor" was awful at explaining what subnetting is. You are the best! Thank you again!

Pls do seperate videos for http, https, SSL, tls, ntlm, Kerberos, oauth, radius, taccas, vpn and it's types and all protocols used and how tunnelling and key exchange and encryption takes place in each protocol, proxy and it's types and how it works in an enterprise, dmz, RPC and RPC end point mapper, dns, DHCP, records in dns, how a website works when we enter the url in a browser and now mail is sent in terms of OSI model, OSI and TCP model in detail (especially session layer. How session is established when ip is being added at network layer)

Although I'm not a network engineer, I'm a computer engineer with more than 30 years of exposure in the field (I started early when I was 16). I wanted a refresher on networks that would start from scratch. Thank you for these videos. This was what I was looking for. Keep up the excellent work!

I just wanted to dropped some love on this video! Ironically I am watching it on it’s one year anniversary for the 15th time! Every time I rewatch these videos I learn something new or at least I gain a different perspective of networking. Hands down this video series is definitely one of the best on RUclips! THANKS 🙏🏾 1000x!

This is truly amazing. Thorough and at the same time simple explanations. This is a rare combination and is very much appreciated. Possibly one of the best networking basics tutorials you can find right now.

  • @zach5018

the clarity and depth of explanation here is insane. Thanks a ton

  • @Superaction-li6ko

this guy is the best teacher of anything I've ever come across on RUclips, if would've had him for a regular instructor in the classroom I would have been so far ahead I'm sure.

I just completed the Networking Fundamentals course. I'm returning to video 1 to say this was a great course and I'm happy I took the time to go through it. Great teacher. Thank you.

  • @egyptian_thoth

Great job! I wish I had found this resource earlier! I see everyone thanking him but the biggest thanks would be to sign up for the early course on his website in order to encourage him to complete the course or at least start releasing materials for those of us who have paid. I saw months back that he said he would start back working on the course, so I paid for it in hopes I could see the progress. I remain hopeful bc I love his teaching style!
