Have the CRB, SPR + PDW version.
I have kept the CRB as Electric with zero Mods. Works so well, very accurate. But i turned to the dark side and decided that HPA is for me!
Converted the PDW to HPA fully modded. (wolverine Premium, CNC Hop system for HPA, Crazy jet barrel, Auto bot 60) Adjusted electric trigger pull personal mod) This gun i use a PEq, Bio frost, and EOTECH site it is simply unreal. I slapped in a 68l 4500psi tank with Ninja pro and Balystic regs and let it rip. The accuracy at 60-100 metres is unreal.
This gun is above the competition. Its the APEX of CQB battle rifs. i defy anyone to use this gun with the mods mentioned and state its not worth the it. I use the crane stock rather than a PDW stock but it would make zero difference.
Are Krytac out of the box the best rifle on the market? In my opinion YES.
Is modding a krytac worth it. For the money to HPA it some would say not. I personally enjoy the control, accuracy and consistency of a HPA mod.
I fully would recommend it! if you can afford it.
    SPR/PDW - £385
    crazy jet 6.03 Barrel - £50
CNC Hop unit for HPA - circa £100
    Pec - £85
    Bio frost - £100
    HPA Tank £160
    Wolverine, Hose, Regs £600
    Echotech knock off (£120)
    Hop rubber (auto 60) £10 to £15
Circa £1550 modded krytac that never lets you down!

i bought a Krytac SPR and 3 of my boys bought VFC BCM MCMR and RWA Battle Arms LW, both BCMS broke 3rd time using it.(this is not a lie) and the RWA isnt even shooting one joule(not a lie either). At the steep price of those guns my SPR is smashing the durability out the water. Yes its tough to "upgrade" a Krytac. but In Chrono reads, my Krytac SPR is shooting at a higher fps and joules at every bb weight from .20s to 0.36s. I only put in a prommy inner barrel and prommy blue bucking. Left inside the stock nub.
if your not into upgrading and tickering with your gun, the Krytac is a solid choice.

Krytacs dont have polymer buffer tubes. Even the Alphas have metal buffer tubes.

It’s funny that people think VFC is more cheaper then KRY and can hold a candle to KRY. I think the gear boxes are alright and performance is roughly the same but the externals are massively differing in durability. You can beat the shit out of a krytac and it will still keep kicking ass. Krytacs no longer get cracked lowers like they did in the early days and their handguards have steel barrel nuts while VFC is using aluminum barrel nuts. Krytacs hand-guards have steel imbedded hardware inside with fairly wide grub screws and can’t be stripped out easily while a VFC Avalon has these small tiny grub screws with no embedded steel hardware they are straight up threaded into the aluminum and will strip out easy as hell.
KRY has enough common sense to make the orange flash hider that nobody wants out of plastic so it can be melted easy and unthreaded with no hassle while VFC makes theirs out of metal and thread locks the shit out of it so you have to fight it to get it off. KRY buckings blow VFCs stock bucking out of the water.
As a matter of fact if you wanted a long rifle build, you could pay 400 flat for a Trident Mk2 SPR-M and save 75 dollars instead of paying 475 for a Avalon gen2 SaberCarbine.
Krytac is objectively kicking VFCs ass right now.

Yeah, aside from being less proprietary I can’t see a reason for paying the extra $70 for a VFC vs a Krytac.

I have both a VFC and Kry, both are great guns and I have run thousands of round thru both...Kry is NOT beating the hell out of VFC.... As a matter of fact I sold my Kry Trident and bought a Kry LMG and kept my VFC for when I want to run a carbine set up....

You say this is proprietary, so would that mean I shouldn’t upgrade the gun internals or is it just that I don’t need to?
I didn’t buy it yet but it was one of my choices because I plan to put an M170 spring in, and if required change the gears and the motor to keep up with the spring.
I also would plan to change the mosfet eventually.
So would you say it’s still fine or should I go with a different gun instead?

Don't touch anything until it breaks. For the M170 springs, you will need to improve the piston, but I don’t really understand why you need to make a traumatic weapon))

You’re 100% correct! I just realized that I mistook the coating on the buffer tube for plastic since all other metal buffer tubes I have are just straight metal. Sorry for the mistake!
