    Enjoyed watching this, a very simple, tidy and practical layout, not sure about 20Amh for a house battery though, the only thing I'd add would be rubberized floor mats all round, well done! Always thought these were the best 4x4 platform for overlanding.

    Nice conversion! I've recently bought a Delica L400 and I'm planning to turn it into a weekend camper. Watching your vlog has given me some good pointers so thank you. 👍

    Hello @4x4ward
    Many thanks for this great video and job!
    Does you have order the Rimo compagny to have this furniture ? Or do you inspired from their furniture to setup yours ?
    If you did the second choice, Do you document all dimention to build ( and re-Buible) this installation ?
    I will be interested to setup the same on my Delica!
    Best Regards from a delica l300 owner :D
    Richard

    I've been dreaming up all sorts of plans/configurations for how to build mine out. And this layout is..... perfect! What size yeti cooler do you have that will fit in that space?
    Can't wait to make an iteration of my own! Thanks for the inspo!

      The 35. It's big enough for weekend trips. If I need more cooling space I have bigger ones I can store up front.

    Hi! Alvin here from NZ. I just saw ur simple conversion of ur Mitsubishi Delica and sure it's awesome. I just wonder how did u incorporate the awnings,???...
    I have here a Mitsubishi L 300 and I did a simple custom built for me just to sleep on it...👍
    I had built a long cupboard for my tools on 1 side and adjacent to it, is another straight long cupboard for my personal things. And at the middle of it is a fixed bed. Bcoz honestly, I sleep in this loved work VAN of mine. I haven't done a total custom built on it. But I will do a better work now on it when I saw this video of yours. I think I may be able to maximize things on it...
    Nice simple and smart idea on converting ur van...🤛
    Am a DIY here in NZ and had been a 43years experienced Carpenter. And am a truckie here as well in NZ. Been driving trucks for 34years. From light ones to truck & trailers...
    Here in NZ kiwis love Caravans or Motorhome as they term it. But what if I can only afford a 2nd hand Van such as d 1 I have here??...he he he
    More power to ur channel!
    Stay safe & healthy...
    And God speed!...
    By d way am a Filipino from Philippines...

    Awesome build. Do you have any details on how you built the closet? Me and my girlfriend have been living out my deli and traveling for the last 6 months and we wanna copy your kitchen/closet set up. P.S. I just bought own of your "Roll blunts, not coal" stickers

    Beautiful job! Well thought out! Why not a high roof ?

    • @4X4WARD
      @4X4WARD  3 года назад +1

      Low roof is easier to add a pop-top, or ideally a fiberglass highroof to. Someday it will happen, but until then it's plenty roomy.

    Very nice! Love the engine cover / extender, that’s what we plan to do as well. Does your Delica have 2 sliding doors? Do you just block that door with the bench/storage?

    • @4X4WARD
      @4X4WARD  3 года назад +1

      Just the single sliding door. All Japanese passenger (wagon) versions only had the one slider. The cargo (van) versions could be optioned with both. And the Taiwan versions either van/wagon could have both as well.

      @@4X4WARD Thanks for the info. I am in Taiwan, which could be why ours has 2 doors. Excited to start going through the fix-it-up journey.

    Do you place cushions across the middle foot-well between the benches as well? Were those the cushions that were inside the cabinet on the left side of the vehicle? Would love to see how that works. Great build!

    • @4X4WARD
      @4X4WARD  3 года назад +1

      The cushions that are always out cover about 80% of the sleeping area. If it's just 1 person you can use those easily. If you need the full bed area the cushions tucked away fill in the remaining 20%.
