I did this to my 99 explorer sport after watching your video. Worked great! Thank you!
Just replaced the power steering pump. A note for you in case you have to change that at any point and need to replace the high pressure line. All autoparts stores have the wrong part listed for the 99. The correct high pressure line is listed as a 2000 model. Might save you a trip.
I noticed during the replacement i have a coolant leak. Hopefully its the water pump and not a bad head gasket. Ill find out tomorrow. Wish me luck.
I also love my 2nd gen explorer. Go team explorer!

Thanks for watching and thanks for the tip also on the 4.0 SOHC the thermostat housing is notorious for cracking and leaking make sure when you replace it to get a metal one instead of plastic

Thank you! I just spent 2 hours trying to figure out why I couldn't get the factory plastic T onto the Fram replacement PCV. The more you know...

I also ran into the same problem with the pcv valve, except my replacement wouldn't even fit. Luckily i didn't fit it because it was clearly going to split with much more forcing. I will remember this if the plastic tee breaks
