How to set up PIN-based attendance check in/out? I have set up all access method but the status is only valid with using a card. When logging in with a pin or a finger, the device communicates access allowed, but the iVMS-4200 only counts the attendance with the use of a card. As you can see in the video 14:33 attendance status is NONE - I have the same. The program detects activity but does not mark it as check-in or check-out. When using a pin, activity is not detected by the program, but there is a message on the device.
after adding the schdules and everything to the ivms4200 ac, how can i send those infos to the attendance terminal ? also, it marks everyone absent for the coming two months why
Attendance Terminal, are u refering to the device or software? I have some explanation here. The HIk Vision Access Terminal such as (Fingerprint, Face terminal or Controller Reader), it only gather transaction record while ppl scan on it, and these data will transter to Client(iVMS-4200, HCAC or HCP), These client are after gaining transaction record from device, it will calculate the timetable + schedule, and come out with the report.
@@securityproducthelper2971 if i add a schedule via ivms4200 and associate it to users, how in the attendance terminal that will be captured? i mean if a person checks in according to what schedule? the one i sent in the machine or the one set in the application? also if i don't set a schedule in the machine, i can't add shortcuts buttons, please help me im lost
@@belaidamal8184 Access terminal Job are to collect those transaction data, when user authenticate, those data will collected by iVMS-4200 to calculate the time attendance. Besides, please *forget the T&A setting on Access Termincal* it will make u more confuse about it. That T&A are for special purpose to help calculation under some special scenario

I can help to advice me what's correct procedure to connect with local lan connection. I will explain here what I have done pls correct me ... First I went into device communication and at network I enter my PC IP address and gate way details and after that at com I enter my lan IP address.

It network connect all the time, the transaction it transfer to iVMS-4200 automatically. When the device disconnected or pc was turn off. It need to call the data manual. I recommend do the manual data collect every-time before generating report to ensure the calculation correctly.

Hi. I'd like first to thank you for this valuable video. It helped a lot. Now I'm stuck when it comes to showing attendance events in "Attendance record" page. When I click "get events from device", everything sounds good and the synchro process takes place perfectly. But when I click on search button to show the list, there is just nothing and I get the "No data found" message. However, when I use the usb flash drive, I can successfully transfer the records and then open the CSV file in Excel (which means that the data is there). Could someone help please? Thank you in advance.
This weird, kindly check ur device time with ur iVMS-4200. Does it same or not. And check on ur person(under ivms-4200). If dun have person data, u will get nth on transaction log.
As i remember for those model DS-K1T804 first released firmware with this latest iVMS-4200 will have the transaction issue. However for DS-K1T8003 will not have this problem.
IP, u need to check ur network, what the ip range there are using. You can check on cmd > ipconfig or ncpa.cpl on status Eg: 192.168.1.10 (this ur pc) Then this device u need to set on 192.168.1.201(make ip far from ur network, so not easy to conflict)

Have u try with admin user? Or have u try with ivms-4200 login by activation password? Maybe have some bug, better try with ivms-4200 logon to fingerprint to confirm the activation password.
If wanna reset this device password. It required SADP to export the xml file, sent to hik vision engineer to generate those reset xml file. The file return, u can change ur device password
