I also love RUclips. I love to go on a journey and watch videos that teach you, make you laugh, get you to think, and create awareness. I wish I had some social media growing up, but didn’t have it until my 30’s. I have my Mercury in Aquarius and love getting online, I just choose wisely for me!!❤
I wish I had social media when I was young too. There were times when it could be very lonely, like Sunday nights...I would have loved to have been able to connect with people 🙏♥️
Listening to your readings makes me feel enveloped in love and community. As I keep saying I feel like I'm having a cuppa and laugh with a good friend. I wake up with excitement looking forward to the days reading and frequently re-watch pick a cards from years ago when they pop up for me, choosing whatever card stands out at the time. I have the biggest grin on my face when I think about you to friends. Thank you for bringing so much joy to my life ❤️❤️❤️
You are a breach of fresh air, you make me laugh, and feel good, you're so down to earth. If I wastn't living in Australia we'd be friends, having fun. Thanks Gemma for who you are ❤ You're "good enough" too 🌹🦋🌻
This is off topic .. but not. This reading for some reason made me think of Sheryl Crow's song she sang live (youtube) with Stevie Nicks, 'Strong enough" which was about being yourself and if a guy wants you well, he has to accept you as you are. Great song. Greetings from Canada!
Yes I dropped fb😂❤ Enjoying the freedom! Too much is too much! They say don't know what you've got till it's gone. When the addiction to social media is gone your mind is free thinking. They don't like that!😂 But I do. I love it❤
What I am doing for the weekend is laundry, kitchen cleaning, a swim (possibly cause we are suppose to get a boatload of rain), and a bunch of art. Oh yeah, most importantly cuddling with my grey smoke Persian named Bao who is the sweetest, most cuddly kitty.
Um.... what does that mean exactly? Because Gemma's mum quoting Blake, Nature red in tooth and claw doesn't exactly tally with our human hubris thinking we're the top of the food chain and can destroy the planet gorging ourselves on what we can get with no thought for tomorrow.
Feeling very slow here, winter mode setting on high, Gemstone Tarot is a great community; where else can we appreciate elasticated trousers, Tracy's amazing cheesecake and that actress with her prolific antics.... xx 💖
I’m so glad to see all the pentacles because I felt like that new moon in Aquarius along with Pluto there, sort of untethered me and I need to ground myself. I’ve been having stomach issues, and for the past two nights I’ve been trying to do a healing meditation by myself instead of listening to something and both nights I had my hand on my stomach and then today you talked about that. Synchronicity! And I’m with you; I’m so grateful for RUclips especially, because I’ve met so many wonderful people here, mostly on your channel and on mine. And I love how Zoom allows me to connect with groups that I otherwise wouldn’t be able to interact with. I am not, however, addicted to Facebook, or any of those things, although I do use Facebook to connect with my friends back home, and I value that. I do watch a lot of RUclips videos because there’s a lot of good stuff out there. I think you mentioned a couple of weeks ago that you accidentally left that heater running and I was going to suggest getting a timer for it. 😊 (Frugal Sun in Capricorn in the sixth house here.) You’re an inspiration to me because I haven’t written hardly anything in the last year, and that’s not acceptable. I need to be more disciplined, so thank you for sharing that. I hope you have a great weekend, Gemma! 💕💕
I'm obviously still here. I also have stomach issues which are different for everyone. I don't drink coffee or even green tea because of the tannins; rather ginger tea with a spot of honey or nothing frankly. I go through a lot of ginger in a month. I also recognize stress and rather than shower in the am have a lavender Epson bath at night. Gemma can't abide lavender which my sis equates with old ladies -- but I tried Camomile and it disagreed with me violently I sort of like the Zoe channel but not ... but their point is everyone is unique. I find when I sleep well which these days is hit and miss I feel better but it's definitely the worm Ouroboros because if I don't sleep, I don't move around enough and ... and ... well that's me now, a sloth. Well intentioned advice, to be ignored since I can only share my own experience. I had serious allergies when I was quite young, so my diet was temporarily reduced, and stuff reintroduced gradually. Just ignore me completely .❤❤PS we 3 all seem to be working on some project ... this is great!!!
I saw an advert for a Tee shirt with a dragon on it and a hilarious quote and thought I need one of those. 1 hour later I had ordered 6 with different quotes 4 black and 2 blue, that was 3 years ago and I have worn them to death. It's like a uniform dark blue or black 100% cotton trousers with an elasticated waist a dragon Tee shirt and a baggy cardigan if it's winter. There's virtually no print left on the shirts yet the good quality cotton remains steadfast, it's comfort that matters at my age and if people can't see the print of " I'm OK I've just taken 500g of Fukitol" then it's fine I know it's there. Thanks Gemma 😁
Hi Gemma I agree with your on use of socials . Sometimes I use it to intuitively find the answer or supportive message, when I need to lift myself out of a challenging time. And I am very selective on what I watch. Just as I am careful about eating food that isn't contaminated or passed the used by date. It's SM hygiene practices. Being selective and mindful in what I consume is good mental health practice. Seeing your readings is uplifting and insightful. I get something from them to help me navigate my life. So thankyou!
Thanks Gemma! I like what you said about detoxes. It was that impetus towards purity which set me up for an eating disorder as a teenager, and I also really love RUclips with all the opportunities it provides for connection and education. That said, there have been a couple times over the past ten years when my phone broke and it took a little while to get a new one and, after a couple days of uncomfortable withdrawal, I started to feel so much calmer, happier and more free…. So I do think I’d probably benefit in many ways from getting rid of my phone permanently, or just taking breaks now and then, not so much as a “no” to the internet as a “yes” to my body, mind, and surroundings. I do sometimes feel over saturated with input.
Great reading - totally resonates! This weekend I’m relaxing, helping my mom, doing some research/exploration/following my curiosity, and…relaxing. Much love and gratitude Gemma❤❤❤
If the internet had not been invented I wouldn't know who you are let alone watch you on my phone casting pearls of wisdom. I wouldn't be able to chat face to face with my children or see my grandson grow and his first attempt at crawling. Can you imagine not having contact with the world during the pandemic, so let's say a big thank you to Sir Tim Berners Lee for giving us the internet and for free. 😁
Gemma, yesterday I continued working on a painting. I painted the background some days ago, and decided to use chalk pastels for the foreground. Not something I have done before. I got it where I liked it, and seemed to recall pastels needing something besides a regular clear coat, but only had a regular clear coat, so applied it, and watched the clear coat eat away the whites and brightness, leaving what was left dark and dull. Somehow I was not detoured. I researched as to what to use, acquired those things, and decidedly did it again. Disheartened at first at the differences, but kept going. While different than before, in ways I like it even better now. But I was impassioned, worked on it like a mad woman. Now it is about patience, waiting till a good time to apply the fixative and appropriate clear coat. I find the whole if it quite resonant with tour reading. Thank you!
one night i was scrolling through my phone, feeling like i’d never figure out why some people just seem so magnetic. then i came across this book, Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and something about it caught my attention. reading it was like turning on a light in a dark room. it’s not about pretending to be someone you’re not; it’s about unlocking the energy you already have. trust me, this book is worth every page
This weekend we are celebrating my Auntie's 80th bday. It's a surprise at a restaurant! ItIs her sons bday as well🎉 Tomorrow I don't really have plans so I might just stay in and be cozy.
I think my Dad as an idealist really loved the idea of the internet as a global family promoter. And I understand what you're saying Gemma. I think it depends on the person. I'm an Aquarius but except for a very few channels on RUclips I don't enjoy social media (well I do love a plethora of vegan cooking channels and late-night comedy stuff) because so many channels produce unbelievably contentious comment sections, and the divisiveness makes me sad. Your channel is stellar as an example of what social media can be which is why I love it so much💕💕😊 but in my experience you're the exception not the rule; but perhaps it's down to me because the algorithm was sending me to political sites which became increasingly unpleasant leading up to the American election, so I unsubscribed to all of them. I do agree with the inappropriateness of the term detox and although not a green thumb myself I love planting stuff. I'm not sure for me that there's anything viscerally real about most channels and I do find that if I spend a bit too much time idly scanning the youtube universe because I'm goofing off and a bit brain dead my attention span gets a bit shorter and then I curl up and read a book and am back to myself. Also when I'm out and about it's weird to me that everyone walks around looking at their phone while I'm looking at people and trees and stuff, so there's a genuine addictive element that some people feel they need to address. Could be my age. Anyhoo, Happy Birthday to my mum, writing Jan 31, am playing all her favorite music; Ella Fitzgerald sings Cole Porter, The Merry Widow (lol, she adored my Dad), Stephan Grapelli and Yehudi Menuhin playing jazz violin; the duet from the Pearl Fishers, and two songs; Is that all there is, Peggy Lee, and Don't Worry, be Happy which totally cracked her up. There's more .. and Happy Birthday to me on Sunday, Feb 2!
@@BrownieButton Proof that you can indeed find real friends on youtube ... tx to Gemma. Best wishes, keep in touch! and Tx from me and Kiwi the Gemini♊♒♒😊❤❤🐕
Happy birthday, Evelyn! I really relate to your comment about being out and seeing everyone looking down at their phones instead of at the amazing sky or trees, or whatever. That really gets me. I’ve even been with people when there’s been an astounding moonrise or something, and they don’t ever look up and I’ll say, look at that gorgeous moon! And they kind of glance at it and go, oh yeah, and then they look back down like it’s no big deal. It is a big deal! I’m so glad I’m not like that. I am grateful for you too - I have met so many wonderful people here, like you, Gemma, BrownieButton, etc.. I think you were born on Imbolc, were you not? Hope you have a great day. 💕💕
i remember this one time i felt like no matter what i did, people just didn’t notice me. i tried everything-confidence boosters, social tips, you name it-but nothing seemed to work. then i found this book, Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and it completely shifted how i saw myself. it’s not just about being noticed; it’s about understanding the energy you project. honestly, this book made all the difference for me. if you’ve ever felt invisible, you need to read it.
Love your message for the weekend, Gemma, thanks so much 💖 Have a wonderful weekend! (Alas, I have an assignment I need to work on, but going out on Sunday!)
"Tooth and claw" is the name of one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands, Animals as Leaders, got to see it a month ago live, lost my voice cheering 😅 (might be a little too heavy for some, fair warning) The synchronicity marks a very spiritually relevant little side rant for me, Gemma, thanks as always 🙋🏿♂️💙
I got overwhelmed with following friends and family on social media, so I stopped many years ago, and now I only follow things that I feel good about and if there is something I want to learn more about.
Dog person here; do you have a safe place to let b but vc Collie run like mad without losing her/him? Usually with dogs like that they need to run wild for a bit; a walk on a lead won't work. A lifetime speaking here, seriously. I have a Pekingese (Kiwi the wonder dog) with illusions of grandeur and a neighbour who has a magnificent Rottie/Alsatian cross named appropriately, Simba; both he and I sustained hip fractures a couple of years ago and he has a much more formidable challenge than I. I have a friend in our area with some space and a golden retriever so on a rare visit I invited him and Simba and it was dog heaven. It's so hard in a big city; last weekend I visited my best friend of 55 plus years who lives on a rural property on the edge of a lake and frequently takes her black lab Leo with her on her Kayak, how they don't capsize is a matter for Neils Bohr to work out; it was heaven; Leo dived into the frigid water and Kiwi right after him. She hates having a bath at home btw. It was dog heaven. I think living alone with a dog makes me more aware that dogs get really bored; I'm a bit of a recluse socially but no reason to keep her locked up with me when we can both go tramping through a park .... Obviously I'm a bit of a dog nut ... re: social media; FB keeping in touch with friends, excellent. Wider world, what works!💕💕🐕🐕
I’ve done a reading for myself early this morning and I’ve never been so nudged by the cards. A lot of chatter. Every now and again I try to read for myself not always very successfully 😂 I used the Light Seers deck too. I had the Knight of Swords also, he was upright running towards the pesky sneaky 7 of swords!!!
I like messy, i like comfy jumpers, rolling in the mud. Ill take it easy take a sisi 😅😂. Ill do some doodling, claying and chilling with the cat 😊. But i dont like permanent mess, my brain doesnt do well on that.
Re; permanent mess; I am not OCD nor minimalist decorator but if things around me are in flux so am I. Just the way my brain works. Reason why I love Gemma's creative disorder which I profoundly admire. Fixed signs all over the place I suppose in my case ... I couldn't do it and absolutely love it. I lived with a close friend who lived like Gemma and thank heaven we are still close friends. She woke up talking; I needed silence. Where are my glasses, on your head. Plus side; constant brilliant conversations and generosity of spirit and inspiration all around. It was the best of times .... so glad she's an essential part of my elected family and I hers.....😊😊❤❤♒♒♓♓
Most of my friends are "in the box" that is, online, cus they don't live near me...I've tried really hard to make local friends, but when you're as geeky weird etc as me and you're in yur 60's with work, college, and family obligations, it's hard to find people to be friends with! It's not like when you're a kid and "we both like the same sandwich, let's be friends forever!" sort of thing. There are so many boxes to be ticked first, aren't there? These days particularly when who you voted for makes a far huger impact than it used to. :/
I do love youtube because we can pick and choose what we listen to....cant be doing with FB, find it too overwhelming and lots of oversharing, not for me 😂😂
I like that you discriminate amongst people you agree with and those you like ... but not so much this weekend, Gemma you'll always be That Person who led me back to my sis and frankly back to life. I don't care if we have conflicting views, which always can be explained why do you think I love the French so much? ....
@@Gemstonetarot the song that resonated for me this birthday weekend came from your reading : it's Strong enough: RUclips live Sheryl Crow and Stevie Nicks. They are singing I am enough ... are you? I love this song 2 strong loving women, strong enough to be vulnerable.
@@Gemstonetarot I think that's a John Lennon line from a Beatles song on the White Album. Yes!!!!!! And thank you for being in the world my friend Gemma -- you sort of proved your point about the intenet so I will bow out gracefully ... a woof from Kiwi and Mitzi is now with us on weekends.❤❤🐕🐕♒♒😊😊🐈🐈
Ok i have to ask..... and it's absolutely not a complaint as im so grateful for your channel..... but why is capricorn always the last reading to come out (even when its cappo season)? Ive been trying to figure out an order, an astrological logic, then my brain hurt😂. Then i thought, juat ask Yoda!!! Xx
i remember feeling like i was always the one fading into the background while others stood out effortlessly. it was frustrating and made me doubt myself a lot. then i came across this book, Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and it showed me things i’d never even considered. it’s not just a self-help book; it’s like a guide to understanding your own energy and using it to connect with people. if you’ve ever felt like you’re not seen, this book might change everything.
there was a time when i kept wondering why some people seemed to naturally draw others in while i was just…there. no matter what i tried, i couldn’t figure out how they did it. then someone mentioned the book Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and i decided to check it out. the way it explains how your aura affects everything around you? it blew me away. it’s like having a secret code to unlock your magnetic energy. this book is a game-changer.
i used to think being magnetic was just about looks or confidence, but i couldn’t have been more wrong. i read this book called Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and it totally changed my perspective. it breaks down the energy and mindset behind true attraction in a way that just makes sense. once i started applying what it taught, i noticed people reacting to me differently almost instantly. it’s seriously worth a read.

What a great reading Gemma. 😊 Thanks 🔮💖💫
I am the same as you and couldn’t have said it better myself. Happy Birthday, my friend! ❤🎉🎂🎈

i need one of those as a saggie
i remember this one time i felt like no matter what i did, people just didn’t notice me. i tried everything-confidence boosters, social tips, you name it-but nothing seemed to work. then i found this book, Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and it completely shifted how i saw myself. it’s not just about being noticed; it’s about understanding the energy you project. honestly, this book made all the difference for me. if you’ve ever felt invisible, you need to read it.
Love your message for the weekend, Gemma, thanks so much 💖 Have a wonderful weekend! (Alas, I have an assignment I need to work on, but going out on Sunday!)
"Tooth and claw" is the name of one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands, Animals as Leaders, got to see it a month ago live, lost my voice cheering 😅 (might be a little too heavy for some, fair warning)
The synchronicity marks a very spiritually relevant little side rant for me, Gemma, thanks as always 🙋🏿♂️💙
I got overwhelmed with following friends and family on social media, so I stopped many years ago, and now I only follow things that I feel good about and if there is something I want to learn more about.
📣📢📣📢 Sagittarius 🎉😊
Thank you. I'll enjoy taking it easy this weekend. I am preparing for a talk event. What are you writing G? A novel? 🙏💯
Hi G, I'm dog sitting this wknd, a beautiful but very crazy Collie ❤❤
I'm only on FB, so no need to devoid myself from it, lol xx
I’m tired Gemma, I just want Peace 🙏✨
❤❤
I’ve done a reading for myself early this morning and I’ve never been so nudged by the cards. A lot of chatter. Every now and again I try to read for myself not always very successfully 😂 I used the Light Seers deck too. I had the Knight of Swords also, he was upright running towards the pesky sneaky 7 of swords!!!
❤❤love ❤️❤️
It’s rainy in California. Leo
I do love youtube because we can pick and choose what we listen to....cant be doing with FB, find it too overwhelming and lots of oversharing, not for me 😂😂
I hear you (did I just write that?) I think the nuance is too much information and not enough self reflection.
Mars is in retrograde btw, thats the "take it easy" probably. ( inner wars??)
For me its sickness because I have scorpio in mars 😅 death & rebirth.
I like that you discriminate amongst people you agree with and those you like ... but not so much this weekend, Gemma you'll always be That Person who led me back to my sis and frankly back to life. I don't care if we have conflicting views, which always can be explained why do you think I love the French so much? ....
Absolutely 💯
@@Gemstonetarot the song that resonated for me this birthday weekend came from your reading : it's Strong enough: RUclips live Sheryl Crow and Stevie Nicks. They are singing I am enough ... are you? I love this song 2 strong loving women, strong enough to be vulnerable.
Is it your birthday? 🎂

This. Yes!
i remember feeling like i was always the one fading into the background while others stood out effortlessly. it was frustrating and made me doubt myself a lot. then i came across this book, Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and it showed me things i’d never even considered. it’s not just a self-help book; it’s like a guide to understanding your own energy and using it to connect with people. if you’ve ever felt like you’re not seen, this book might change everything.
I love your jumper
Capriconen?
there was a time when i kept wondering why some people seemed to naturally draw others in while i was just…there. no matter what i tried, i couldn’t figure out how they did it. then someone mentioned the book Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and i decided to check it out. the way it explains how your aura affects everything around you? it blew me away. it’s like having a secret code to unlock your magnetic energy. this book is a game-changer.
i used to think being magnetic was just about looks or confidence, but i couldn’t have been more wrong. i read this book called Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and it totally changed my perspective. it breaks down the energy and mindset behind true attraction in a way that just makes sense. once i started applying what it taught, i noticed people reacting to me differently almost instantly. it’s seriously worth a read.
