I live in Canada where we legalized it in 2018 and I have to say I've barely noticed a difference. I rarely run into it any more than I did before, and other than a lot of new shops selling it, it doesn't seem to have changed much.
I think that there's more to be said on the business side, perhaps more negatively, but that's beyond what I'm familiar with. Some big companies sprung up as growers but then crashed after a few years.

It has been legal here in Canada for years and I barely noticed a difference. I suppose the biggest one is that pot shops are everywhere now

I'm on the fence about whether it should be decriminalized. I don't use cannabis but I think it would create jobs and help to boost the
    economy which would be good.

We live in (modern Germany) a country that doesn‘t listen to rules anymore and no-one carries any responsibility for anything. Looking forward to the stories in the following weeks. Viel Spaß y‘all

Coming from the great state of Nevada, US where it is legal, and it is under regulations and limitations, and I have resided in Germany back in the 90's, by the way, I say "Endlich, das werdet jetzt zeit!"

Is it really legal or is it just "you can buy it legally, but shops can't buy weed for selling", like in the Netherlands?
    It's a bit complicated here 😅
I don't mind that we can buy weed legally here. I sometimes buy weed to calm down, just like some people like to drink wine to calm down after a long day.

Buying and selling in all forms remains a crime. The new law even increased the penalties for this.
Possession, consumption and breeding have been legalized.
From the middle of the year, clubs will be able to offer home-grown weed and cannabis to their members without any intention of making a profit.

"Check on it", that you own legal things?
German law works somewhat differently. In order to be allowed to enter a person's home, significant reasons must be presented and a judge must approve the whole thing. Because of legal membership in a club that grows a legal stimulant, unimaginable in Germany. This will probably be in the unjust state of Bavaria - but they don't give a 'f' about any laws.
