I watched a video from a year ago and your chemo had stop working, and u were saying time may not be on your side. And here you are. I know people say " you look well" but we know how awful we feel from top to toe. Hope ur doing well. Paula.💞

I'm so happy about your two excellent scans - and glad you can get another immunotherapy treatment! Wish they'd approve it as standard of care. Take care!

I have no words to describe how happy I am to see you. You are my hope. My dad fights the same disease as you. May I ask you one question ? What was the last value of CEA marker measured in you blood ? Does it change from time to time or is it constant ? I can't find any information about CEA levels in colon cancer patients with metastasis in their liver. I wish you all the best in your fight !!!

Hello Augustas, Thank you very much for your kind comment. I hope your father is doing well.
In answer to your question, tumour markers like CEA and CA19-9 can change slightly, even when there's no change in the cancer. Cancer doctors tend to look at trends in a patient's tumour markers, especially if the tumour markers are within the safe range. ie. if a patient's CEA is low, but rising, the doctor may recommend a scan. It's important to use a combination of regular scans (3-4 months) as well as tumour markers (once a month)
In February 2020 my CEA was 2.5 (below 5 is ok with the Japanese test). My CA19-9 was 7.9 (below 37 is ok)
