- Dagny and I visited Goodwill in search of treasures that we could flip for a profit. I ended up filling my cart and almost had to cut the trip short because of the fire alarm.

I found teapots without lids and used them for flower arrangements for my daughter's wedding.
I love that idea.
They make lovely containers for flower arrangements
Also for living plants!
Excellent idea.
That is a lovely idea
I can’t be the only person watching these, seeing something I like on a nearby shelf, and shouting at the TV, ‘OMG! Grab that! I’ll buy it from you!’
Funny tonight
I do it too! 🤣
You’re not the only one!
I think she passes up some good things, doesn't even see it.
I'm the same the, I laugh at myself. Wish their was a way to actually a way to get what we see?
No no he isn’t a chef . He is called a Tsolia . Greek presidential guard . 😀 the DB bag , looks real , the stitching looks good , and from what I can see the bag looks substantial.
I totally agree about the D&B bag. I think the stitching looks too good to be a fake.
Opaaaa
I adored the tiny blue bottle with the stars on it, with or without the stopper. Also loved the tray and trinket dish Dagny found at the end. That beautiful cream and gold teapot would make a lovely flower vase. Who needs lids, anyway? I probably would have bought it for that purpose.
If there was ever a time for a voice over, this was it!
Agreed - I was getting a headache from all the noise!!
But then you would have missed all the clever repartee!
Ugg..can't keep watching with the alarm..
The second Funko that you could not identify is Cthulhu from HP Lovecraft. There are a lot of Lovecraft collectors out there and that could have been very profitable. C'est la vie
Lol me being one of them !
How about a tank of suckerfish all named after vacuums! Dirtdevil, Hoover, Eureka, Rainbow, Electrolux!
We have one named Kirby
My dad sat down to watch the video with me just before the alarm went off. It started and he said, “They caught them!”. I asked, “Doing what?”. “Being funny!”. Dad jokes. 😂
Hahaha. I love dad jokes! My dad’s dad jokes still make me laugh.
@@CrazyLampLady I have to admit dad is pretty darn funny! He was glad you got the duck bag.
It is so nice to see happiness and hear laughter when you two are together.❤
Can't believe you pass up the nativity set it's absolutely beautiful
That nativity set was beautiful. Think you should have got that!
I liked it too! It was so cute and unique.
I liked that Nativity set..it looked to be on very good condition too. Also, some people collect Nativity Sets.
I collect Nativity sets. And I display them year round.
The Dooney looks authentic. It is an old pattern and the inside looks quality like my dooney bags
I have a cool, current D&B listed on Marketplace, Facebook..I'm on their as seller: Ms. Kris Durschmidt..a must see!! never used..just not a color of mine...earthy light green and all the bells and whistles!! Let me know if anyone is intersted..
Jocelyn - I watch your RUclips posts, current and previous - every day and today I realized why I enjoy so much. I learn from you, but also you and Dagney make me laugh. What a great friendship = and it is such a break from my sometimes chaotic life - so Thank You!
The large white unicorn would be a great way to display jewelry, brooches and stick pins etc.
Jewelry display for her booth!
I would love to see a video where you show us how you clean everything up before selling.
I agree a little variety
That nativity set looked unique, I would have checked it out and would probably gotten it for myself.
The vanity set Dagney found is so pretty!!!
When I bought my DOONEY & BOURKE at a consignment store the owner said to look for the small tag sewn on the inside that says DOONEY & BOURKE,INC. The color of my tag is tan, Blue letters with a red stitching around the DOONEY & BOURKE. All their purses are leather and the stitching on the straps are very well done. Sometimes you can smell the leather especially on the straps if you know what leather smells like. Hope that helps.
My daughter has a Dooley that is not leather. The straps and details are, but the main material is a waterproof material.
Please leave stores when they are testing fire alarms!!!! I damaged my hearing by staying. I was in long line to have fabric cut at Joanne’s and didn’t want to lose my place. It was loud enough that when the alarm stopped, it sounded like I was under water for a couple days. Sound came back but I permanently lost high tones; live concerts (back when they had those) don’t have the complexity of sound they used to.
I'm sorry that happened to you. Thank you for the advice. It's something people (myself included) don't really think about.
Broken thing do bring big money sometimes. People who take restoration classes need them. I once sold a broken doll head for $179.00.
I agree! Use the teapots without lids for flower arrangements
That's a real Dooney! I have it in my collection!
It could have also been made in China, hence copyright infringements and them duplicating this stuff for much cheaper
Look for the American flag label inside the Dooney
That white pull toy looks like a Greek soldier to me. They wear a uniform with a full white skirt and guard the palace in Athens.
yes you are right. he is tsolias
the traditional clothing of men in greece.
@@vasilikichatziiordanidou2618 Actually it looked Russian to me.
@@tigermoon44 They have different costumes. Im from Greece 😊
@@tigermoon44 definitely not Russian
17:20 - I thought it was a traditional Greek outfit as well...
You ladies have too much fun! 😊 it was so nice to hear the laughter.
I got a haeger white urn at Goodwill for three dollars yesterday. Perfect condition
You two are soooo funny. The duck eating the pig's tail cracked me up.
I love it when you both are shopping together. We get a comedy show and we learn all about products you find.
I have that gold and ivory tea pot. It was a wedding present for my mom in 1961.
It’s beautiful!
Absolutely love the limoge tray and dish!! Loved a lot of those Vera Bradley bags I’m a floral gal! Thanks Jocelyn such fun!!
Wilton Armatel I love it very popular down south and it is a wine bottle holder
I found that random sugar bowls with lids on them the lids fit the tea pots so all you have to do is find one that’s the same color
I'm binge watching because I fell a week behind lol. Your eye for things is incredible. I love the pieces you picked up. No lids, no problem! People will still buy them. Thank you for sharing!!
Love it when Daggney goes with you. You two are so funny.
The guy talking over the intercom seriously sounds like the adults/teachers from the peanuts. “Womp womp womp... wahwomp womp”
You girls make it so fun not just finding great stuff but doing it with a great sense of humor. I’m so addicted to your videos!!!!
Oh my goodness, you and Dagny together just makes my heart happy! 🥰
Dagney is HILARIOUS!!!! We all need a Dagney lol
Imagine a lot of that stuff on the shelves will be vintage one day!
Laura LOVED this...Full of EVERYTHING .... you're so much fun too love the cookies M
oh my gosh...If I am ever in your neck of the woods...Dibs on shopping with Dagny and you! I would be cracking up the whole
time. Great video to get me inspired for a little GW today! Thanks Girlfriends!
I love the delicate blue flowers on that big wavy bowl... 💙
For the funko, the Gollum is 55 and the Cthulhu is 17🤷🏼♀️
dude, that cthulhu was everything!
The vase Dagny picked up is from either Pottery Barn or Pier 1, my sister had similar ones. Good to hear you guys discuss the pieces!
Even though you get along so nicely, I' d suggest you visited the aisles separately beeing your tastes so different.
The goose and the brain pig cracked me up!! You two brighten my day!!
The kitten mittens say floor protectors on the back of the package 🙂
No haircut.Im loving your hair more everyday.Todays video was fun to watch I loved the finds.Thank you for sharing with us.Gets better every video.
I enjoy your videos. They are educational. But I gotta say,the ones with you and Dagny are a HOOT!
It makes my Sunday to get to watch a new video!
Thanks for sharing and caring! Stay Safe! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The funko octopus guy is C'thulu. Some are valuable, some are not. I don't know a lot about the funko stuff... but absolutely C'thulu.
The Funko figures are Cthulhu and Gollum.
Love your videos my friend!! Love watching you and Daphne shop!! I love to see what you find!! Much love!! 💖❤️🌺💙🥰🦋🦋🌹😊💕💜🙏🙏
It’s amazing the variety and range of finds! Blessed and safe days!
The stitching on the bag looks pretty clean and authentic I’d say it you did good.
I am a collector of Vera Bradley and I was drooling, especially the black and white one.
Those 2 enamel pans beside the kitten mittens, I NEED THOSE BADLY
My mom used to cook with enamel pans. I have heard that enamel pans cause dementia and my mom had it. So be careful there.
I want the kitten mittens... (chair feet covers)
@@stilltryin71 I heard it was cheap aluminum pots and pans. I grew up with nice 'waterless' aluminum ones. Who are you? Where am I?
Geez, I remember "Strawbridge & Clothier" Department store from growing up in Philadelphia. Now I'm watching you thifting from my home in West Palm Beach. Full circle 🔵 👌 Hey as an art glass lover, check out the Netflix show, "Blown Away" . You'll love it.!! , as I do your videos.
I love watching you two guys shop. So much fun. Love y’all. Deb from Ontario Canada
You 2 have way to much fun when shopping great for me in locked down UK !!
OMG...love that green and pink duck purse !!
The fire alarm made my three German Shepherds stand to attention! Then the youngest stared at me for five minutes. LOL
I love you two together, the flower planter just needed the Japanese aret of gold wash over the repair. Then it's artistically re-worked.😉
Love the energy between you 2!Very fun.Good deals.
The stool with sunflowers and bees... Too cute... ❤🐝
You can always email the Dooney & Bourke company along with pictures of your bag, and a staff will email you back with the info you are seeking. More than likely there will be a registered number on the back of the tag. 👍🏽
Jocelyn your channel has kept me company this summer recovering from a hip replacement, love your channel, and I’m learning so much…. Now I have a owl addiction 😀
🐷 Jocelyn,
The " Brain Pig just so "Hilarious "😂
What a blast 💥
You and Dagney are a scream together.
As always very interesting finds.
🎄Happy Holidays to you and yours. 🙋🏼🇨🇦
Y’all were totally cracking me up today! 😂🤣😂
Thanks for sharing your thrifting for flipping adventures! So fun and educational! So, I think the “brain pig” was intended to be painted like patchwork in various colors and designs. A whole different weirdness, of course.😁
Camera, wallet, you, goodwill all the things You are set to go😁😁😁♥️♥️♥️
The crystal skater is made a have a light base underneath
Its hard to find the base as its just plastic . With lights and it spins. But the image will glow.
Oh my I have cases of the glass things with the light up stands so you. Can see the design inside there beautiful when lit up . I used to do ebay years ago and still have all of that in my shed
The wall hanger with nutcrackers and candy on fences was probably made for hanging Christmas Stockings.
That was a beautiful nativity set you left. I know it is close to Christmas but still.....
The Natural Bridge is in WV.. along with all your Fenton, Fiesta, and Blenko. Every time you pass a cardinal and don't give a look, my WV heart is sad.
Sooo many pretty things! The Chili pepper bookends would looks nice in a kitchen for cookbooks.
Looks like a stocking holder...the board with nutcrakers
Yes! I didn't even think of that. You might be right!
I thought it was so cute
Many beautiful items. Stay safe and God Bless
Merry Christmas 🎄 to you both and to your families
Omg the aisle cone. I just can't 😂😂😂
Too bad about the missing lid, that gold tea pot was very nice!!
11:15 cthulu, and valuable with the right market. I loved the pair. I can't imagine I would find those that awesome anymore.
I was sad she passed them up.
@@Scl45689 same here
Ok gotta ask WHERE IS YOUR BOYFRIEND MISS HIM. HE NEED TO RING OUR BELL AGAIN SOON LOL
Wood bowl with silver foot. The foot looks like sterling in color. Did you look to see if it was sterling? If price is cheap enough you can sell the sterling part for scrap.
The off-white vase at 2.27 looks like a Dorothy Okumoto piece. She was a Hawai'i-based potter whose work is usually off-white and often include floral motifs. The shape looks like a Saki bottle which is not surprising as her work usually has an Asian influence. They often sell for a decent amount on eBay. Finally, her work often has an incised signature on the base which is difficult to read.
I love when you go to thrift stores because that is really finding it in the wild.
Glad you two didn’t burn 🔥 up in a blaze of glory🤣♥️
I finally went to my Goodwill today that's not far from me. Everything is one set price like the little knick-knacks or 349 dresses or a set price. I did pick up a few things o my gosh I am so happy with this one thing I picked up I am really happy with this I wish I could talk to you but it's okay. Oh any way they hardly had anything at all but I did get a couple of things that I'm very pleased with. I did get a Bombay Sapphire cup 18/10 stainless. Then I found this made in Japan little vase. I'm really happy with. Also a beautiful Lenox vase I paid $3.49 for I'm very happy. Much love to you always sweetie pie. 🤗❣️🌷
Love the Vera Bradley Scottie purse your friend is wearing
You could add gold leaf to the flower repair. 😀
You two crack me up- but Dagney wins today- the goose did it ( poor brain pig) and I gave out jelly bellies at my wedding! Then you almost tied it up with- A pirate chef is the best kind! Love you too! Your pure entertainment! And I learn things too!
Happy New Year!!! Hope it’s great for everyone!❣️‼️
I noticed a single vintage Tupperware S&P shaker, they have resale value.
Like it better when you are actually shopping, instead of laughing and carrying on with Digby.
That jumping Jack was a Greek soldier.
That's me; If I find a beautiful item but there is just one thing wrong.......I do not turn away from a fault, I embrace it and think of ways to embellish and use it. If you have to 'carefully' repair a broken wrist, hand or foot, so that it looks 'perfect'.....You have just made it STRONGER......and it's a Bravo!
With Downey bags you need to pay attention to the chunky hardware. It should also have a leather tab inside
Have a great Christmas! I just love you and your family, and I do laugh at your jokes. I loved your pink hair, please change it back lol! I'm a crazy 64 yrs.old grandmother.
You two girls make my day laughing. I love watching your fines.
