It's never your own fault your bike got stolen, I feel this is an important distinction, someone still stole your bike, but you could have taken more 'reasonable' precautions
I got my $1,800 Cannondale bike stolen when I locked it on the rack by the front wheel. When I came back, the only thing left was the lock and the front wheel.
have you had any issues with the lock failing to open after time? and has it been cut through with a angle ginder with you still use it? please if you can let me know it will be really appreciated.
Just a doubt... Where I live if a lock is not really cheap the thieves won´t even try to saw it or break it using "brute force", but they´re really good at picking the lock mechanisms. And in most reviews I´ve seen the focus is on mechanically destroying the lock... but almost no one looks at how hard is for a thieve to pick the locking mechanism... For some products like the West Biking I just had to look at the key to figure out it wouldn´t survive 30 seconds... A lock with 5 pins or so... Onguard has a better key system and locking system (for instance if the guy tries the "rotator" that breaks the cylinder it will disengage the locking bars and the lock will have to be sawn). Another weak point is the engagement points (points where the U-Bar or the chain attaches to the locking mechanism) and if it´s possible to insert things between the bar/chain and the lock then they can find a way of rapidly opening the system. Again Onguard/Kryptonite has a springless system so it is not possible to retract the locking bars... Have you seen any test regarding these aspects of lock security?
I bought one these, and locked my bike to a rack with one of these a couple of nights ago. When I came back to it later, both the bike and the lock were gone. In conclusion, I would not recommend.
"Imperialist" HA! You do not know the power of the dark side! Train with me and we will convert kilos to pounds, kilometers to miles, euros to worthless fed reserve notes, nothing will stop us!!!!! Hahaha haha!!!!

compare the abus which one is better?
Are you still using the lock?
Yes, actually my go to lock at the moment. Really light and easy to throw in a bag. Big fan.
How's it holding up after 7 months?
Love it - still my every day lock.
I've been looking for a good lock for my electric scooter, and it looks like a good option
Look up the pick locking lawer and you’ll be able to figure out what a good lock actually is.
@@user-uo7qz7dw2x I have looked him up. I actually ended up finding the perfect lock for what I need.
As far as I can tell from LPL, no lock is any good@@user-uo7qz7dw2x

Not as good as advertised. Regarding to "Sold Secure" the Bordo Granit is still the best available folding lock.
False. The Abus Bordo Granit 6500 has very weak rivets, something Foldylock has adressed. A lock is only as strong as its weakest link.
