  • Stir fry recipes are a great way to use up excess ingredients in your fridge. This pepper steak stir fry recipe is just that. You don’t have to follow the ingredients I added in this recipe. However I do recommend sticking with the same sauce but change up the vegetables, protein and carbs to your liking. This stir fry recipe is delicious.

I saw a good tip about grating fresh ginger: if you freeze it (it freezes well) you can grate it straight from the freezer and won't be left with any ginger fibres/waste.

Must try this recipe my brother will love me for it.
He despises my method of recycling leftovers.... I don't like to waste food and he expects meaty recipes and new recipes every day something like stuff served in restaurants thinking I'm some sort of chef or something and I'm not.
I remember he loved your fajitas recipe and something else but can't remember at the moment

My black pepper grinder broke on new year's day and I have just not gotten around to getting a replacement. I do have a mortar and pestle, but I find it too much of a hassle to use for small quantities, so I've taken to cracking black pepper corns by leaning on them with a spoon and then just smushing them on my cutting board. Not as quick and convenient as the pepper grinder, but less work/clean up than getting the mortar and pestle out.

I was one who tasted pure soap with cilantro. Loving Puerto Rican, Mexican etc food, I began adding that you know, "mystery pinch" and built my taste buds up to the full experience. Just a thought but some dishes and sauces are just so much better and more authentic with the herb. GL
