I had the Japanese version I got before the dubbed version was released. It's an excellent figure, enjoy! I did get FansHobby Archenemy and it's a great figure. They made a trailer for it that I want, but I can't find one. I'm hoping against hope they re-release it.
Same. I want the Fans Hobby Scourge and I don't care for the trailer, but he looks off without the head that comes with said trailer. I'd actually go for both the figure and trailer if the latter is made available again.
@@FoxsDumbSeriesMaker I really think enough people have gotten the figure that a re-release of the trailer would do well. And, like you said, it's not just the trailer, but the accessories including the head and the weapons (the figure itself just comes with a sword).
@@NeilBlumengarten Agreed. Honestly, I think Fans Hobby should sell the alt head and a few other weapons as a cheaper accessory pack, like they do with some of their other figures. That would work for me.
Sometimes you just can't improve upon a great original. The transformation is simple but the end result is badassery for that mold. Great stuff and glad you got it!

Wicked review, man. It was hilarious seeing that clip from the show again. Makes me want to watch RID 2001 and the other Transformers anime. I miss when they used to primarily make anime shows. I grew up with that era of Transformers, cheesiness and all. lol This figure is so awesome that I actually want to get it and put it in my Generations display. The new Legacy "Black Convoy" coming out is such a dud when they could have just made a proper Scourge. I'm sure they'll make him eventually ... once Hasbro and Takara get as much use out of the Legacy Optimus mold as they can. >_< Honestly, I really hope Transformers brings this Scourge back into a future show/story. He'll be in the upcoming Rise of the Beasts movie, but that version only seems to resemble the truck form, and even then it's junky as all hell. He might end up being like the G1 moustache Scourge instead, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Greart Review! Congratulations on your grail piece. I loved seeing you have fun with the toys, as this is what toys are for. My collection is quite modest compared to yours but I will say I have the Optimus and I do believe he is (low key) one of my favouite figures just because of how well articulated he is and looks great even with his Han Solo sized blaster pistol.
Loved the fig at first sight. I have the korean version(Sonokong) which is basically the US version with japanese stickers. Sadly the chrome on the grill has worn off, and am thinking of trying a Molotow to fix it.
Congrats! I’m super happy for you! I really wish Hasbro did exactly as you suggested and just adds wrist, thigh, and ankle rockers. It woulda made for an amazing new toy, with few of the issues evident in the update.
