I got a question:- so it is my understanding that according to Islam, magic is just an illusion. And it won't harm you if you don't believe? Right?? So, please explain how the prophet Mohammed was affected by Jadoo or us it Jadu. Further, please explain why we encounter blockages in life from something that's a mere illusion. I also understand that people actually die from this "illussion," Please explain that - how does an illusion kill you?
To add to my question: - it is my understanding that sorcery is different from wizadry or witchcraft in that there is an intention to harm. How then is the intent carried out if not in actuality? In other words how do they ensure they achieve that harm if what they have to harm you with does not exist but is merely elusive to the eyes?
Lastly, does Islam beieve in the existence of good witches?? I ask this because of the story of Marut and Harut. It would seem to suggest the test if that of learning the trade for the purpose of countering??
In Islam we believe in the existence of magic. There is a type of magic that's put on the eyes/mind to create illusions. No such thing as good witches in Islam as all witches call upon/worship the jinn. Even those witches who claim to be good many send love spells on people and they see no problem in doing that. To the victim it's a huge oppression and can destroy their life.

Magic is not JUST tricks. There are couple of types of magic 1. Tricks 2. Illusion (hypnosis or something along those lines) 3. Black magic.

There is nothing called good magic. Every magic requires either disbelief of God or putting trust on an object that object will help you. That is the biggest sin in Islam which is shirk. So matter your intention good or bad, doesn't change the fact there is sacrifices to demons / bad jinns, which is demeaning you as human being. So no matter your purpose is, you are going against God. So it's haram. Aka forbidden
By the way...I woke up in the middle of the night screaming as I felt this "illusion".... a djinn enter my foot and I physically felt the pain. I'm asking myself how I convinced my mind this magical invention is real because I was asleep by the way. I had the same experience in 2015 when some needle pricked my toe in a dream - I woke up screaming but that day I lost my job.

@moonomudenda8689 i forgot to tell you the things that you must take as daily before going to sleep, perform wudu, and read surah al falak 3 times surah al nas 3 times surah al ikhlas 3 times and the last 2 verses of surah al baqarah i dont do all of them i recommend you to research on youtube instead because i dont fully know them
