    All anvil and hammer. So many videos use fullers, guillotines etc... this was simply the best I've seen. Thank you

    Wow it looked so easy! I just tried it as my first forging project, because of how smoothly and quickly you made it I thought it would be simple, I was like "you take a rod, bing bing, flatten this part, then this one and voilà!" But no😂. Continue your work it's awesome, it inspires me.

    I don't think people realise just how great of a job you do on this by just forging. Obviously having a good anvil set up is a good part of it but none the less a lot of skill.

    What's a good way to keep your still from rusting. So far I've tried bees wax and linseed oil.

    • @lufolkcrafts
      @lufolkcrafts  Год назад +2

      To use and touch it often seems to be the best 😃 I use those two you mentioned as well, I find it work good. I have a pendant I am wearing every day and just as an experiment I removed all the scales (which also protects) but didn't add any protection. I haven't taken it off for a year and no sign of rust. The oils in our skin helps and also when running it, it gets "polished"

    Tjenare! I keep coming back to this video! My mjølnirs are not nearly as beautiful as yours, lots of mushrooming, but i keep hammering nonetheless!
    May I ask you where you got the background music from? I love it!! It's a really nice touch to this video, would be cool to have more of this in your videos! ⚒️🔥

    • @lufolkcrafts
      @lufolkcrafts  Год назад +1

      Keep hammering! And thank you for your feedback! I don't remember where I got this actually. It would be nice to have music but it can be difficult to find suitable music that is ok to use due to copywrite. But good point! I'll look into it 🙂

    hi i have attempted this and i can get to the "toothbrush" part fine but i have an issue with the fanning out that it just elongates instead of widens. im not sure what im doing wrong.
    funny that i can forge knives and 50cm short swords but a hammer is beyond me hahha
