Completely agree with this... we have 6 kids. 4 are still home, our oldest is 24 & youngest is 11 (4 girls & 2 boys). We've implemented all of this as well. Some parents tend to forget that they are raising future adults. We're only children for so many years before we're adults for the rest of our lives.
I have followed you since the beginning, and the way I parent is very much like you. ❤ My kids do play video games, and yes, it is very addictive. That is one thing I would change if I could start over. My husband and I currently took the kids nintendo switch away for a break. They are so much more productive lately since it went away. When I minimize toys, the kids play happier and use their minds more. My kids all have their own laundry hampers and know how to do their laundry. It is so helpful and teaches them skills they need to thrive❤ my kids have chores they do daily, and I call them "zones." I love all you teach. You are an inspriatipn Jady!

My mom never did any of this with me. She did everything for me but didn't care for my emotional needs. I feel like im nowhere near your level to be able to do all those things you do with your girls. I need to first do all that for myself before i can have my girls do it themselves. They're 3&1
My mom did none of this for me. I grew up in a single mom home and this is the main reason I want to give this to my kids so that I can give them what I never had and to raise a better generation.

I hope to also teach my daughter that being educated is essential and it’s worth considering if that pursuit should come during the most fertile years as a young lady. Many women pursue degrees or corporate jobs and when it’s time for children they can’t conceive or won’t conceive as many as they might like because their fertility has declined as the years have passed.

I don't speak say this to disrespect my mom, but I wish I she knew how to teach me. I am a hands on learner. Not much a lecture or book learner. As an adult I am overwhelmed because I'd have to learn cooking and gardening with my kids. An manuals and help books make it harder. I wish I had the hands on skills to pass on. Having said that, I just realized they have classes for this 😅 glad I drafted this
Jady, pardon if it's too much of a personal question, but your husband and you both knew this was the route you wanted or things changed and ya decided to homeschool?
Do you think it’s possible to home school when you didn’t graduate high school ? I’m not very social either so it’ll be hard to interact with other homeschool moms I have sons who are in 4th grade talking and reading at a 1st grade level Do you think it will be possible to bring up to speed if stayed at home ? Love you videos and thank you
The fact that you even are inquiring tells me you would make an awesome homeschool mom. God will give you the grace. Be humble. Ask lots of questions. Accept help. Don't try to teach too much. The basics! I 'll pray for you to meet the right people and get the right curriculum. Seton is excellent. It's Catholic. I think you can even go through your public school district. I grew up surrounded by families that homeschooled. M mom thought she could not since she was from a Spanish speaking country and never studied beyond 5th grade. Unfortunately, my siblings and I recovered a poor education and struggled to learn the basics. The worst part is that or faith life suffered because of the indoctrination of atheism and perversion. Going on a tangent! You can do it!!!❤️
Hello Jady, thank you so much for all the video your put out here it is so inspiring. Pls do find out time to make a video on how to race boys cause I have three boys now no girl 😊 thank you.
Hi sister in Christ my name is Jasmine I am a single mom of a 9-year-old boy I would love to homeschool my son and I just don't know how to get started do you have a program where parents can meet with you maybe once a week or once a month an answer questions and get course recommendations also a course layout I honestly don't know what to do and how to teach my own kid I love that you have so much wisdom can I just need someone to talk to on how to get started🙋🏾♀️🙏🏾💗💕
Jady, do you mind sharing/explaining how you are planning to do dual enrollment at 10th grade? What program or college are you able to do that with? (I am in New Jersey) Thank you so much!!
My son will be 3, he has ASD and a lot of the things I try to do will absolutely not work with him. It’s sad, I do try tho. Everything small thing is a struggle.
No doubt your son is wonderful and you're a wonderful mom. If you haven't yet read work by Temple Grandin you may find it interesting. She talks about how her mother raised her. She advocates for finding what talents a child's mind has, no matter how unique, and treasuring them as needed things in society. I know we all wish our households were run as smoothly as Jady's. I also know I'm a complete stranger and my words aren't shaped by personal connection, so take or leave anything... but I'll just mention my own thought that no matter your situation, you can be the mom your son needs, and it can look different than other mom's approaches but still be ideal for your child. Best wishes on your journey!
Jady I have been watching your videos for probably about 7 years maybe. I’m not completely sure. You had three girls at the time. Well I have been encouraged to use some of your activities with my students. I have been raising my you gets boys on my own for the last 8 years. They are now 12 and 15. They are good kids. But because I have to work full time to maintain my home financially, I know they have lacked many things. The youngest lacks some manners. The 15 year old is very well mannered and very hard working. But I feel like he is trying to grow up too fast. He has taken the role of the male figure in the house. I want to be there for them more but working full time has taken a toll on me. I come home tired. And sometimes I lack giving them my complete attention. I feel like I could do better. Please let me know if you can help. Manners for my youngest, chill time for my 15 year old and time management for me.
Question- we dont have homeschooling legal in kuwait but we can do online schooling: what is your view on online schooling to keep kids away from the traditional school system?
@@tamraya23 there are lots of online schools based in the us or uk like lady evelyn and so on so its recorded sessions i think with homework set and if you get stuck you email the teacher etc
Great video but I have one issue. The time will come when you have to let them go...they will lack street smarts. I'm all there for teaching your method but they need to know how to manage and cope with the ever changing negative outside world. When they can overcome these temptations that's true growth. Keep up the good work and keep fighting the good fight. Stay blessed.
This is not meant to be rude, but what if one of your daughters wanted to be a physician. How can they reasonably raise kids without outsourcing child care support and pursue that career? I am a SAHM and I love being able to raise my children and hated that my oldest was in daycare the first two years of his life.
I’m thinking after they’ve been homeschooled from k-12 , they can pursue any college course or university they would want. Colleges actually love and accept homeschooled children at high rates! After college, your child would go to med school or P.A school
@@unrulyash8850 Obviously they can go to college and pursue whatever path they wanted, but Jady said she wants her daughters to understand that they are to take care of their children themselves and not to rely on daycare, grandparents, nannies, etc. How is that reasonable for a woman who wants to pursue a career and not rely on outsourcing child care? Sure, they could leave and return, but that is not always encouraged depending on the subspeciality.
@@missy8867Christian women are called to take care of home first. They must decide which is more important, a career which forces outsourcing of care or raising children and then pursuing said career, or foregoing altogether. The Lord gives grace ,but every decision has a consequence , be it good or bad.
A mother's calling is to be home. They can be anything they want to be but if they decide to have children is is ultimately their responsibility to raise them. The problem is society wants people to think women can have it all and no they can not. You can see my video on traditional wife where I explain why mothers are needed home to raise wholesome children. Not every woman is called to have children but if they decide to have children it is my conviction there are things they will need to put aside. So it is a big decision to make what one wants to do in life. A physician is a very demanding career- they are rarely home. Kids need a mom at home.

I’m not very social either so it’ll be hard to interact with other homeschool moms
I have sons who are in 4th grade talking and reading at a 1st grade level
Do you think it will be possible to bring up to speed if stayed at home ?
Love you videos and thank you
Yes!
The fact that you even are inquiring tells me you would make an awesome homeschool mom.
God will give you the grace. Be humble. Ask lots of questions. Accept help. Don't try to teach too much. The basics! I
'll pray for you to meet the right people and get the right curriculum.
You can do it!!!❤️
Yes , you can do it !
Depends on the state. In TN, you have to have a diploma to homeschool your children.
Yep!❤ I have homeshooled for 13 years and only got my highschool diploma. I was not a good student and am now learning alongside my kids.
So helpful!❤❤❤
Which movies we can watch with kids. Pls suggest some
Is there a way to teach Language Arts and Math to a 5th and 3rd grader together at the same time instead of each having a separate book ?
We are very intentional about Godly character.
Jady really good information to learn:) ❤ do you have the eatsy store link from your daughter? Mine wants to visit the store.
Excellent!
Hello, Jadi. Do you speak spanish channel?
I love you so much!!
Such a great video
Question- we dont have homeschooling legal in kuwait but we can do online schooling: what is your view on online schooling to keep kids away from the traditional school system?
How does online schooling work? Is it like a zoom call?
@@tamraya23 there are lots of online schools based in the us or uk like lady evelyn and so on so its recorded sessions i think with homework set and if you get stuck you email the teacher etc
@@saharh88 this is cool. I could see how this could be used with older kids on some subjects like creative writing or physics.
Beautiful ❤
My girl is very affraid of sleepingalone .or talking to strangers. Can you suggest me
Great video but I have one issue. The time will come when you have to let them go...they will lack street smarts. I'm all there for teaching your method but they need to know how to manage and cope with the ever changing negative outside world. When they can overcome these temptations that's true growth. Keep up the good work and keep fighting the good fight. Stay blessed.
Please make the same video for boys too.
I couldn’t click this fast enough.
@@JadyA I will give it a watch.
