I love learning about these random planets and hypothetical situations 😅 it truly is fascinating
At Least First Complete The Goddamn Video lol😒
I got a hypothetical situation for you!
Giggity giggity!
Dear, you're nothing in front of the celestial bodies and universe and how big it is. 😃
agreed
Same haha as soon as I first found astronomy vids I couldn't stop.
Kepler-22b is located 600 light-years away. While the planet is larger than Earth, its orbit of 290 days around a sun-like star resembles that of our world. The planet's host star belongs to the same class as our sun, called G-type, although it is slightly smaller and cooler.
good shit my boy
@@joshswanson3378 😅
Lol welcome back bro, how was ur vacation??
@Darth Raven's Random Star Wars Stuff since its bigger, its probably longer
@Darth Raven's Random Star Wars Stuff I don't know
It would be so incredible if we could go to another planet like this and see what we could find.
we cannot survive on a larger rocky planet as the core is bigger meaning stronger magnetic field which would lead to much stronger gravity therefore immensely shrinking us or just fully crushing us. oh and also more air which means MUCH bigger creatures. normal house spiders would be the size of like a dog
@@POPCORN_BRAWL we probably will
@@POPCORN_BRAWL we already almost have

Love binge watching these videos. Always makes me question life but always keeps me coming back. Thank you.
Thank you for your comment!
Interesting concept, as you never know, these things MAY happen. Glad to learn more from this channel!
As someone with an inquisitive mind wanting to learn but low attention span this channel is the best
Dang this stuff is so interesting because I’m working my butt of in third grade to reach my goal of becoming a astronaut and the fact that he knows this much about space is what made me want to become an astronaut
Its more likely that instead of collision, Earth will get captured as a moon of Kepler 22-b if it was heading towards Earth. Because gravity is not the only player, both planet's electromagnetic forces will also interact with each other, making capture into orbit more likely. Also both planet's strength of gravity will change as a result of changes in planet's charge as gravity is not entirely due to mass of planet.
Yep, that was my thought. Be cool to have a moon with a moon.
If that happens, our sky will be more beautiful!
We will be Kepler moon 😂😂
No kepler 22b is only 9 times the mass of earth is a binary system when kepler 22b in our solar system
Speaking of life, I was thinking, life could be on any planet that has a solid ground because aliens could have completely different needs for life, they could need 2x the sunlight or half the sunlight we need, and for water and food they might not even need that stuff to survive. Just sharing a thought.
Definitely true, i believe we all don't have the same life forms.. like probably there's a world that has Aliens 10x huge our bodies, probably others very small, others maybe they crawl and not walk, some also might ne flying instead of walking and running, some maybe don't need to breath so as to live. I really have many scenarios of how other worlds might look like
@@alvincantmiss Tottaly agree! I mean who knows there could be life on a planet that is hotter than lava or colder than Pluto
@@alvincantmiss You're just describing other life forms like the animals on our planet. maybe start there and enjoy what we have before we screw it up for good.
I love most all of your concepts. Great vid.

I love all these theories about Kepler-22b🔥🤙🏼
We need as many habitable planet’s as close to us as possible.🌎
Why? How long do you expect to live?
I swear to god your channel is answering my 3am thoughts XD
If Kelper-22b was close to our Earth that means it would be in the range of our sun meaning that it would already be habitable itself, possibly.
It would be hard for both planets to exist in close to the same orbital distance. One would have to beat the other out.
Kelper would obviously be either hotter or colder than Earth because Earth is in it’s fixed point and can’t be the same distance away as kelper from the sun

Love the what if channel. It's one of my favorites
i love learning about these random planets and hypothetical situation it truly is fascinating
I have 1 question for What If.
How do you know that Kepler 22 is rolling on its side like Uranus? I've studied space my entire life and I have never heard of any Telescope able to determine this. Not even my Uncles Telescope the James Webb can see this. Thank you.
ur fr related to the creator of james webb telescope?
okk
If it's on earth's trajectory: we're doomed
If it's on other planet trajectory: kepler will be one with the planet of which its trajectory got used. Or simply replace it if the planet's gone. And become the planet that it replaced beforehand.
We love Science! ❤️
This channel is good at teaching what will happen!

WISE J072003.20-084651.2 (also known as "WISE 0855-0714" or "WISE J085510.83-071442.5"), is a brown dwarf, located 7.2 light-years away from Earth and is not in our solar system. If it were in our solar system, it would likely have a significant impact on the dynamics of the solar system. Because it is a brown dwarf, it would likely have a very strong gravity field, which could potentially cause disruptions to the orbits of other celestial bodies in the solar system. Additionally, its proximity to the Earth could have an effect on the Earth's climate and weather patterns. However, it's important to note that the effects would be hard to predict and would depend on many factors such as its distance from the sun and its orbit.
How can you know that Kepler-22b rotates as Uranus? Our telescopes aren't so powerful to notice how a exoplanet rotates
They don't directly see the rotation. They make hypotesis based on the planets' light and movement
@@dimensio_italian_magician It's impossible determinate a planet's rotation from its movement around the star, same from its light since a planet cannot produce light and we see it only when it pass in front of its star. Rotation is something that needs to be observable to be determinate, and we cannot observe something outside of our solar system if it cannot produce light
Satellites heading out of the solar system - like voyager 1
@@Tricko5609 Yeah, but they need at least a million of years before arrive even to the closest star, let alone Kepler-22b. Also, Voyager wasn't build to study exoplanets
@@fabriziobiancucci7702 nope. We can observe exoplanets even if they don't produce light. When they are passing in front of their star, there will be a dot passing in front of the star. That's how they can be seen
The vibes are getting muddy today everyone. We need to raise the frequency 😊 ❤ 😊
Big fan sir 😍
I love What If!
What If Mars, Mercury, Ceres and Venus were replaced by each Earth
Alright so I need 3 crew members for the Kepler 22B heist to get that bih to our solar system
I've always wanted to know about what if Earth and the Sun were the only planets in the solar system. That would be a good video!
Thats a good one
I know what you mean and also I think it would be a great idea but just so you know the sun isn't a planet it's a star.
well considering that Kepler 22b is larger than earth that means its gravity would be much stronger than earth so it wouldn't be Kepler 22b falling toward earth but rather earth falling toward Kepler 22b, the large gravity would also cause some problems with astronauts and spacecraft because some spacecraft wouldn't be able to get off the ground and there would be a lot of downward pressure on the bodies of the astronauts, luckily though the human body can adapt to those conditions in time
You know what i don't get, the fact that all these planets supposedly have blue oceans and green land, the green land wouldn't be green, the green would have to be trees and trees would technically count as life so wouldn't we have already found life on other planets such as Kepler 22-B?
Or the green land could just be grass
@@Starofmisfortune Still technically life.
But we see past (thats the problem) illusion is in past we still dont know how planets look like in present
At the start of almost every what if video, we can see mass destructions right ahead 😂😂
It's crazy how vast space is. It would take over 600 light years to reach 22b and 4 months to reach Venus. We're truly are the size of a grain of sand in th grand scheme of things
@WhatIfScienceShow No mention of the impact of the increased gravity relative to Earth? o_O??
did you consider how we would need to become stronger to be able to stand on kelper normaly because of stronger gravity since its bigger
Or lifeform’s would evolve to be flatter, with their organs spread across the ground rather than elevating from it.
I heard Lagrange points don't work with planetary sized objects.
I was just watching a what if we lived on kelpler 22- just about 5 miniets ago
Kepler-22* minutes*
Clever clips!
An idea for a What If video.
"What if eels were the size of humans"
We would have a lot more electricity!
5:23 the word we all waited for 😂
I would move there immediately

What if Earth is actually Kepler 22-b and Kepler 22-b is Earth?
@@Ilondjdjdjdjdndfj what he is trying to say is what if WE are actually living on kepler-22b and the kepler-22b we see is actually earth
@@Ilondjdjdjdjdndfj its a theory 💀
@@Ilondjdjdjdjdndfj you could've said that at first
@@Liechtenstein_real I didnt understand it
Now I realise I was right in not understanding it because it doesn't make sense
@@Ilondjdjdjdjdndfj that made absolutely 0 sense
If It was in our Solar System, without it colliding or affecting Earth, then I guess we’ve solved the overpopulation problem.
One thing I’ve always wondered is how do we know that other living beings in other solar systems and whatnot require water to live. Just because we do? Maybe they need lava to live 🤷🏻♂️
I've been wondering the same thing like maybe they've adapted to their planets harsh weather
@@javonlavish2481 right! We only know about life on earth. How do we know what life forms elsewhere in space need to survive?
If Kepler22B has an atmosphere it must have an air somewhat similliar to ours. I think it possibly has more O2 in it's atmosphere than we do, making breathing here a bit... Oxidizing.
Let's be honest here; we already have two useless neighbors, so if we have to choose a nice spot for our Super-Earth new neighbor to occupy, I say boot Mars out of the Solar System and let this new larger Earth-like planet occupy an orbit between us and the AB.
Yes, it would be slightly farther away than it had been in its home system, but our star's increased solar output could compensate for that and leave it more likely to have a habitable surface and hospitable atmosphere than if we booted Venus and had it orbiting closer in.
Please bring us also other planets closer with Kepler
Um, if Kepler 22B is 36 times the mass of the earth, wouldn’t that mean that the gravitational force on the human body would be relative to that?
6:07 That's a cool movie too
Great idea👍👍. If this happens we should visit Kepler 22-b without wearing a spacesuit
Count me out for this kind of spatial trek! Very interesting however! 🙂
Damn if kepler was near me i would DIE!! I LOVEE their songs! Wadada is my fave!
Very good 😀
As its larger and younger than earth, it could actually be between earth and mar's orbit and be habitable. This also depends on its core though and its magnetic field but I'd argue this fact as more plausible
You have some very interesting neat videos
KEPLER22B IS MY FAVORITE PLANET!!!
i would probably find my true love on that planet
I like your videos
Assuring fact: Kepler 22-b isn't the most earth-like planet, and it's also not the closest
No its teegarden b
WHAT IF they have an WHAT IF channel on Kepler 22b
Can't wait to see this
I would Like to thank you for helping me with school thank you so much💞💞💞💞💞
We love Science! ❤
then marry science lol
I was about to ask this question!
Plus the gravity change, the bigger the planet the stronger the gravity correct? We would have to adapt to the pressure of gravity there?
I love this vids ❤
kepler 22B Keplings: What if earth was located in our solar system
Did you just call inhabitants of Kepler as Keplings... Lol
I'm going to be mad if NASA doesn't hire this guy
Good luck in dealing with the gravity wouod be tough on the joints
Good topic👍
One thing not pointed out here, Kepler 22b being a larger planet with more mass would have more intense gravity then Earth which anyone trying to set foot on it may not be prepared for. Like say you weigh 100 pounds on Earth, you'll weigh something like 300 pounds on Kepler 22b. Any indigenous life there be it intelligent or otherwise would of course be adapted to the heavier gravity.
We need some What if
