People will always want his music and him, as long as he keeps us first. We buy the music instead of the recording companies. That is an entertainer, not sitting around the microphone like Combs or Stapleton and not twerking like Bryan. This man goes out and preforms for the audience and you can hear how loud they are in the background the entire song. I didn't hear anyone else get that much support
I hate that the country music establishment ignores THE GREATEST COUNTRY SINGER/SOUNGWRITER...but it's a good 'ol boy industry! They like those pop singers! Getting tired of the music they pump out! I think Eric was likely very happy for Luke, since Eric has already won once and is a friend to Luke. Liking them both, I’d say that was a win for both, and we were all privileged to see and hear Eric perform “Heart on Fire”, perfectly! WoW! Them two guys made that show perfect in my opinion, not throwing stones at the others who also did well. Anyone that Super Talented deserves the Very Best by we Fans regardless of glass or platinum trophy that gets dusty or placed in a closet after retirement. Eric Church was the lead in the house band for one of our clubs in Atlanta for several years. Always a crowd pleaser, and a really nice guy. So happy to see him headlining, packing venues, kicking ass, and thumbing his nose at the Nashville establishment! Amazing songwriter, incredible performer, and still a rebellious soul. Now that’s Country!!!
Thumbing his nose would have been declining his attendance to the rigged CMA. He’s in it to win it and to make money; not that I blame him, we all gotta eat.
