Can’t believe there are only 34.4k subscribers. Certainly one of the best sailing channels. I only wish your videos were a bit longer. Great work!!!
Awe thank you! That means a lot!
I wondered exactly the same thing, a handsome couple, high-quality photography and interesting content. Enjoyable in every way without emphasizing yourself.
Agreed. It’s a busy space though. But Travis and Stephanie definitely are worthy of a bigger audience.
It took me awhile to figure out why the subs are are below the quality of their content, but I finally did. It’s travis’ sunglasses. 😂
Wow, looks just like a fake comment, or maybe this bot dont know many sailing channels
Can't blame you for taking that bus ride back. I dragged anchor once while away from my boat. I came back to it bouncing off my friend's boat. Once that happens to you it's really hard to shake that fear. Since you have internet on the boat I would definitely put a web cam pointed at my chart plotter and maybe another cam or two pointed away looking around outside the boat.
Nice cliff jumping. That was serious height!
Just discovered your channel. A big hello from Vancouver BC. Wonderful vids of just living and being free.
Awesome, we love BC! Travis grew up there 🇨🇦
With starlink you can add a camera to the boat to check when you're away. Just get for example a Shelly 1 remote switch (can be controlled over cloud) to turn the camera on/off. That way it won't need to stream whenever you're not watching. 🙂 Simple way to not have to go back 🙂
That is some great cliff diving.... Good job...
Love seeing your videos U2 are the perfect couple. Enjoy what the world has to offer. ❤
Truly amazing episode as these two season sailor's show us the Festival of Saint John, picture the beauty as only this channel supplies. Fantastic cinematography, sound and top quality editing sets this sailing channel into the top of charts. While Jib Sea sits on the hook, with forecast of heavy winds on the horizon, these qualified sailors return from a day trip to check on their home. This is certainly another quality episode and one you don't want to miss. Thanks guys, you Rock!
Wow, thank you! Happy to share the adventure with you, thanks for watching, as always
Great video again you two. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Yea weather is weird at first it's fine the next it turns on you. Better safe than sorry so I think it was fine to check on Jibsea. Now you can enjoy yourselves knowing all is well. I have had cousin who live in the UK vacation in that area and they say that red powdery dirt blown in from Sahara desert is also a problem on land at the places they've holidayed at. Every morning staff washing down tables and chairs ect.
Enjoy yourselves looking forward to next video
Love you guys and your content! Professionally done. 😍
Thanks so much!
Leap of Faith- the adrenaline rush matters. Nice video once again Jibsea. Thanks for taking us along.
I understand your concern about leaving your home unattended while out & about in the city.
An app for your phone- the monitors your anchor holding?
On another note for security concerns is an on-board camera to monitor the marina or anchorage.
I do know that Sam Holmes sailing channel recently got his mast camera working again for just this purpose.
He is somewhere near you two, as he mentioned Mallorca in his last real time update video- with Sardina as his next
port of call. Stay safe out there Jibsea.
Thanks for sharing the adventures!
Our pleasure!
One of the best channels out there ..informative ..fun .. ❤
Appreciate that thank you!
great video. Love Palma. Be safe, have fun.
Thanks! Palma was stunning
Love following you two...not just the adventures but your working thru things as a couple along the way. 🎉❤
Thanks so much!
"...the island of money apparently." Hahaha
🤪🤣
Love those SUP's!!!!! Super sweet guys. Those cliffs looked like they were exactly what Travis was in to hahaha. This channel has never disappointed, plus Steph and Travis have always been our fav people! not to mention my wife and I got to actually meet Steph in person and Travis on the phone lol ha ha everyone else lol. They are just as they are on screen, amazing pair of humans. Id be playing in that anchor sand box all darn day!!!! That anchor was an Ultra Marine??? want it... Travis's choice of sunglasses is top notch, Oakley Sutro are amazing at covering the eye on the water, gotta protect those peepers.
🫶🏻 hope we get to see you guys again someday, perhaps on the water!
Yeah! Those anchors are fancy, we’d love one of those shiny pieces in our bow 😆
We’ve seen so many ppl in Europe walking around with the Sutros! Though some people on the tube may not agree, but love Oakleys!!
We will have to visit this Winter. Looks so fun but we can’t take the heat. Travis is a great diver and you both have so much energy. Enjoy and stay cool.
The heat was gnarly the last little while! You’ll have much more comfortable temps in Winter for sure
Totally a beautiful place and Palma is always nice to visit. Hope you visit her smaller sister island 😊 Aaaaaaaaamazing cliff diving!! See you next time.✨ 🌊 💨 ⛵️ 🏝️ 👙 🌞 ✨
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hey Fellow Canadians... I wonder if you could rig up a internet camera to your starlink internet connection and point it at your onboard GPS or somehow see your boat GPS position online some other way with an online tracker. Would that not give you some peace of mind that the boat is safe while you take in the sites ? Maybe some IP cameras on the boat pointing at the mooring ball to make sure it's secure or something like that ? Just an idea. BTW really love your channel.
Thanks for the input! There are various companies out there where you can pay a membership for security cams. That could be an option depending on cost plus what we could actually capture of the anchorage surroundings but nothing beats being physically present at the boat though in case some sort of action needs to be taken 🇨🇦
@@SailingJibsea Hey there. I hear you, there is no greater peace of mind then to be physically there. That's just not compatible with both of you roaming around exploring so what's the next best thing ? I guess in order: A $$$dock, a 100% $$mooring ball, a $really good anchor. You need one of those 3 for sure. If you can't have someone babysit the boat while you are away the idea would be the nanny cam for the boat. I purchased several very cheap HD Internet cams for our home that work with an app and pan around. Might be worth a try to set one up on the mast and see if it works for you they are < $50 CDN so pretty inexpensive and a fun project for Travis. Might even make some interesting content.
Great videos ❤
Thank you! 💜
Love your videos.. how about going over to asia like maybe the Philippines...Australia and new Zealand
Haven’t been there for around 30 odd years
if you have starlink why not get some remote cameras so you can monitor the boat and seastate around it?
My Gosh Travis! DAAANNNGGGG! oooooohhhhhweeee what's up with that!
🤙
Hi guys, thanks for sharing. Town architecture is awesome, beaches full of people, not for me. Here 12 or more people on our beach, we go back later ha. Good decision to do 2 bus rides. As always, can't wait for the next insight from you guys, looking at this beautiful planet we all share, cheers from nz.
To Brian 4479: Moderately crowded beaches help to see and sift the sensual sights while the waters hide your thonged enthusiasm from throngs.
We’re not into overcrowdedness either! Hence leaving Toronto 😅 we totally get ya!
It cost you 8 Euros for piece of mind and if it was bad where you left the dinghy it could have potentially cost you Huge ! Proud of my fellow Canadians. I live just down the 401 from Toronto in Windsor . Fair Winds 😊
That’s exactly what we told ourselves. 8€ is nothing for piece of mind. But sometimes the inevitable does happen though…😵💫 stay tuned for that😬
Nice to hear from viewers back home!🇨🇦
Mr. T is so cool...wish I had his no fear attitude.
Dear Miked 5563, Some have: Others have much compunction when they survive while others succumb. Joy would be milked from my bravery.
lookin good Steph
Steph does look good. Can't work out her oriental origins. Be nice to have a pal like Steph for myself who likes messing about in boats. Mines a small one though; an 18 foot open boat.
Love Mallorca 🎉
Loving the island!
Go to Cadiz you will love it.
Peace of mind for 8 euros. Well worth it.
Totally worth it!
What about closed circuit TV on board that you can watch on your phone? Mobile Ring like? IDNK just wondering myself. Nannycam? Love your clips! Closest I'd get to sailing is NCL or Holland America lol!
You should install a video camera (actually a few) that you can access from your phone. These days, that shouldn't be too big of an expense and worth it for the piece of mind.
Great video guys! Would a web cam on the boat help ease your mind? Or do they have an anchor alarm app for your phone? (as you have star link)
Greet video again. Thinking the first jump from the cliffs reminded me of the Safe years of Acapulco..& the cluf drivers.
Also wonder if & how...couple of cameras could work on jibsesa for peace of mind like there?
Thanks again
Glad you enjoyed it! Maybe cameras could help on the outside, depending how their placed but still don’t feel like it would give the same peace physically being there would bring
Love your adventures. Glad your boat was safe.
Thank you! More to come ☺️
Have you ever used an anchor drag app on your cell phone? Do you have confidence in them? Do they work well enough to relax? Some other sailing channels have mentioned them in the past.
We’ve used them when onboard in higher winds
You guys need a 12v pump for the paddle boards, pumping them to suggested 14/15psi makes them so much more stable in the water
Would make quicker work of it but we’re able to use the hand pump to inflate them 💪🏼 💪🏼
It’s not the time , it’s the PSI , until you try your board at full recommended PSI you won’t understand, I wouldn’t take them time to comment/reply unless I thought so, am speaking from experience
Thanks for the tip but what I meant is that the pump it comes with does get us to the recommended PSI. There’s a gauge on it. We’ve had previous paddleboards before so we do know what the difference in stability that makes. Travis was just too eager on this particular day to get to the cliff so he pumped it up quite quickly, enough to get him over there 😅
@@SailingJibsea 👍😁
the best iland to go roadsycling
We were thinking the same thing. Saw lots of ppl cycling the island
You need a euro sim, that works everywhere
That’s what we got 😀
Native Fire is Need to What? I love this language!
Lol! Nit de Foc. Think it’s Catalan? Means fire night
Looks beautiful! Out of curiosity, what year is your Hunter?
1990
👍👊
👊🏼✌🏼✌🏼
Very nice channel. Please improve audio. It’s a must!!!
We didn’t have our Hollyland Bluetooth mics with us unfortunately!
Wow that bad sound recording in the bus..i increase volume to hear then you cam back strong with a voice over ...OMW....think I blew an ear drum
Lol whoooops! Sorry about that! Didn’t have our Hollyland mics with us

Dear Jibsea: Be careful how you dive into unknown waters where sharks can lurk.
Def not much for big fish life under there unfortunately. We do always scope out areas before getting in though ☺️
Title and thumbnail was a bit confusing,,, was expecting to hear about an urge to return to the Caribbs ...
The feeling was the unease and the she refers to Jibsea 😉
@@SailingJibsea Yes, in the end I understood that. All I can say is that I hope you continue to have a splendid time in the Med with fun and sun and good food. Though it's too bad you didn't spent June in Norway/Sweden. We had +/- 30C for weeks (tropical nights) and possibly you won't find better, calmer, cleaner, solitary anchorages for your JibSea anywhere else on this planet. But ofc, the weather is always an unpredictable factor here - last night we had 13C. Fair winds ...
Are you still SELLING your yacht. ? Or when.?
No
patreon WOOOOW!!!get a job save your money and when you have enough to live for the rest of your life without working then live your dream . it's better then begging!!! and better for self pride if you want to live like the rich people that's that the way to go.
Welcome to the 2023 where digital creation is considered a JOB. Videos and content you see online take WORK and if you have the courage to live your dream no matter what it takes before the tomorrow that you seem to believe you’re promised, then that’s more self pride than you will probably ever be able to comprehend.
