Join Steph and Travis, Canadian sailors as they explore the perfect island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean for adventure and exploration. They rent a car with fellow full-time cruisers in Funchal to see some of top places to visit and sightsee on Madeira Island. Madeira is unmatched when it comes to scenic landscapes, epic hikes, incredible scenic views. Truly hiker's heaven. After spending a few days in Funchal marina, they prepare to release the dock lines and continue on their sailing adventure before their transatlantic offshore passage sailing to the Caribbean.

OMG, this HAS to be on my bucket list! Such epic scenery and thank you so much for your award-winning cinematography!! I can't wait to sail and start living this next chapter in life. Thanks for my weekly fix to allow me to hang on to this dream and continue to look forward to. I loved the comment on rental cars. So, one of my first work travels, my more senior engineer told me, Chris, the first rule of driving is "rental cars can do anything". We were off roading in a sedan for a typical installment, launch, and debris recovery. Wishing you two the best, always!
YES 💯 % Madeira is crazy beautiful and we only wish we could do it justice with the camera. The dream is totally worth holding on to so keep the planning going!
