      @@alphadawg81 Ah, yeah. It can be easy to over dramatize or sensationalize information for the sake of trying to appeal to a wider, less academically minded audience. I got assigned this video as a piece of learning material for my electrical trades course, and that to me shows just how good at showing the concepts in action it is.

    We need documentaries like this. Social media is a toxic magnet on people, with the superconductors being the need to fit in, feel adequate based on material and physical attraction which in turn only sucks you in more. I remember being a kid, 8, and seeing a floating piece of metal inside this electromagnetic. I almost shit myself in sheer awe. To this day, I still love electromagnetism.
    I am disappointed in what social media has become and to my knowledge, so are many others.

      Hi
      Im interested in truth about EM field.
      I think ppl in power hide the truth
      I think science leave us a pale explanation of the mecanism of electricity/EM.
      What do tou think about the fact that fluid mecanisq equation are quasi similar to electeomagntisme equation.
      Eleteicity is a fluid ? I believe it is.
      Ether is a fluid.
      Nasa lies about our universe and earth.
      I think we live inside a EM field and the sun/moon rotates its center.
      Sun/moon rotates the center of the toroidal vortex ring.
      Sun heats and moon cools look for thermomether under moonlight vs moonshade experiment.
      Do you think EM field is in fact same as a vortex smoke ring torus field
      Look at pictures of vortex ring. There are layers.
      Look at hurricane anatomy. Same. Layers of hot embeded in opposite col layer.
      Look at dan bergerud vortex ring experiment showing behviour identical as light (interface refraction/diffraction/reflection)
      Electricity=ether=fluid.
      Coil = vortex ring.
      Magnets do have a vortex
      Coils have north and south.
      Shape of the earth is lie. Astronauts/Nasa lie. So you cant figure out true mecanism of magnetism. Hidden knowledge.
      Shape of the earth reveals true shape of magn field : toroid.
      Sunlight hit while moonlight cools.
      Sun and moon cercling in the very center of the torus doughtnut ring.
      Hurricane again cold and hot layers.
      Look for anatomy of hurricane in google you will see truth.
      www.google.com/search?q=hurricane+anatomy&client=ms-android-samsung&prmd=inv&sxsrf=ACYBGNQRyujFKcdl5e_LpObjgCNw8zUMFA:1570896532951&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi37szOjZflAhULyoUKHSjfDAYQ_AUoAXoECA8QAQ&biw=412&bih=751&dpr=1.75#imgrc=NuHQNwE5kRV3-M
      Smoke ring = water ring = ether ring = EMfield
      images.app.goo.gl/SKqQvcMQjnnnx14u7
      images.app.goo.gl/L2P73inz13JZomh79
      In electriciry + goes one way - the other
      Same with hot and cold layers
      Look rank hilsh vortex tube.
      Look at Leap frogging phenomena.
      Look at Dan bergerud masterpieice of understanding vortex ring behaviour same light with interface water/solvant showing diffraction/refraction/reflexion. Must watch
      Nature shaped as donut torus vortex.
      Trees, nuclear mushroom, plane/birds wings virtices, jellyfish etc
      Thanks

    The problem with education videos these days is they try to make it look interesting and catchy trying to awe the audience but often misses out to explain the very concept.
    This video can be benchmark for how exactly to explain physics.

    Most people get confused when it comes to direction of flow. I was taught to remember Glamour. That is GL - for generators left, and MR - for motors right. This is used when you're considering current flow from a higher positive potential to one of negative lower potential. As shown elsewhere, electron flow is from the negative lower potential to the higher positive potential so the left hand rule is correct when you need to consider the flow of electrons as opposed to conventional current. Anyway nice primer with a history lesson.

    For the basics in EM Theory, Nothing in the last 30 years has come close to these videos. One really has to ask why?

    • @craftertflat5957
      @craftertflat5957 9 лет назад +12

      +Tech Tins That's a good question. Why can't people actually explain this in better ways? I'm going to share this knowledge with others so I can retain it better. I also have a few ideas for my own experiments. I want to create propulsion system that can lift an aircraft into space using electromagnetic energy. Screw fuel...fuel is so primitive.

    • @TechTins_Projects
      @TechTins_Projects 9 лет назад +6

      +craftertflat TBH this only scratches the surface and is aimed at high school students. To get a fuller understanding you'll need to study advanced vector Calculus. But this series is still a very nice introduction to the general concepts.
      Which is why it is so good. As there are very few good introduction texts on EM Theory for children.
      Regards propulsion systems. The only aspect of EM theory that can provide propulsion through air are electric motors with low weight but high energy storage batteries. With jets and planes it is possible, but not rockets as they require huge amounts of thrust over short time spans. No batteries can't provide energy at that rate.

    • @alexandroochoa5858
      @alexandroochoa5858 8 лет назад

    • @TechTins_Projects
      @TechTins_Projects 8 лет назад +1

      Basic calculus will give you a good understanding. Then you can go deeper with vector calculus if you want to. But if you just want to study electronics then basic calculus is enough.

    wow. excellent retro piece with all the period attributes. From 1987, one of my favorite years - cue Electric Blue by Icehouse. the animator must have had some fairly thorough background in the subject because they got it all right even down to the brush location.
