It seems to be at least loosely based off of the novel by Joe Schreiber that came out in 2009. It takes place roughly a year before A New Hope. It's about the Imperial Prison Barge which breaks down in the middle of nowhere, right next to a seemingly abandoned Star Destroyer (identified as in promotional stuff). Obviously, something went wrong there and almost everyone aboard the prison barge suddenly got sick after docking with the Destroyer. But the scary stuff is what happens after most of the prisoners died from the virus.
I just played it myself and…for what it is, Star Wars meets Resident Evil, it’s actually pretty good! The hitboxes and camera could use some work but other than that I really look forward to see if anything becomes of these project!
Based on the dudes portfolio, I seriously doubt it'll actually go anywhere considering half the comments end up being about other games having missing download links for months or years. But yet it's stuff people paid for, so he's ahead of ubisoft in a way.
I love the book, it's like one of the only books I ever read on my own accord and it was amazing. They really should make this an official game (not saying this one isn't cool) with a long story mode like dead space or alien isolation, I would buy and play it.

I would have killed for a story in some compastity of a star wars zombie survival story where the Rebels and Empire had to put their differences aside and stop the infected from destroying the very galaxy to Librate (Rebels) or Rule (Empire.) cause in legends Vader has encountered zombies of the BlackWing virus.
Anyone else feel like the blaster looks like it feels like ass. Like it has an insane high rate of fire, it looks like there’s no punch to it or real power, it’s kinda weak. AND WHY IS IT PURPLE
I would need grenades, lots of 'em! I hate horror games but got to like Alien Isolation, 'cause after the 10th or 15th time I was run through, I stopped flinching and embraced the break in play. It can be tense until you learn to accept death, then you just get annoyed and resolve to make a different choice. There are many play-through videos, which can be entertaining by themselves, but the ones about Alien psychology and game-play glitches are truly wonderful.
Nah, not even remotely. It's a very basic "survival" horror game with very basic mechanics. (I put 'survival' in quotes because a lot of people misunderstand true survival horror. Resident Evil is true survival horror, this game is not)

@@scottcockton The first game is important, but you don't need to play it first since the plot isn't that connected. You could play Resi2 then Resi1. You can't play Resi3 without Resi1, but you could easily play Resi2 and 4 without playing 1 or 3, or you could just play 1 or 3. It takes a while to connect. And again, you don't need timeline vids. Especially not someone like Andrew who doesn't like horror games and might check out after a few hours of playthrough of one of the games. Start with a game, do research later I say

I don’t feel like Vader would get infected since the zombies would somehow have to get his torso of face since all his other limbs are robotic
I think maybe Vader was infected but he had enough clarity to know how to use a lightsaber
He does seem to have a part of his visor ripped off when he lifts his head before things go blurry, as one seems to be able to see his teeth.
