Wonderful I love this site, in the beginning was the incredible megalithic time were either time and money didn’t matter, are they had sophisticated ways to work the stone, then came along and time mattered what they built looks good too, but it’s a totally different mindset
This giant megalithic gate seems to block off the entry into the valley. Why? Maybe to keep Giant animals out. Keeping the valley safe to freely live and move around without being eaten.
Megalithic construction seems to have horizontal and vertical lines whenever a utility service was incorporated. Polygonal wins the beauty contest though..
Long before the Inca it looks like it was a Spillway down into where there is a river now. Perhaps water was a little more scarce up there when the Inca were around so they added on. After the Ice Age there was probably High Mountain Lakes and a whole different look to that area. Thank you Brian, that is one of my favorite places to see you visit. Little short this time.
Have you seen the photos of the megalithic Sage Hill in Montana? Hope that you are able to investigate this discovery for us. Some of the stones have the “humps”. Fascinating!

The earlier construction is way beyond that of the Inca.
