Watch The Flintstones on an old tv, just like you used to.
Checkerboard Era Cartoon Network (1992 - 1997) is said by some to be the greatest era of television cartoons in history. While I don't usually speak in such certainties, one thing's for certain - It's certainly a nostalgic time for many.
Cartoon Network was founded on October 1st, 1992, and was, at the time, the first dedicated cable television channel for showing cartoons all day, every day.
I am attempting to recreate some of that nostalgic feeling of being a kid and watching these cartoons by putting the cartoons on an old TV set. I hope these videos bring you as much joy as they were for me to make.

i was too old for the new flintstones, i watched them in the 1960's, but its cool people still enjoyed them in those later decades 👍

Kids these days wont understand the joy of watching commercials and TV show on an old TV. Was born in 98 and I miss those days...

@@cesarmorales9138 True but I don’t think he can be “that kind” of jerk, at least not in the original series. How Fred was portrayed in this special is very unlike him. Cause in the original series he had neighbors called the Gruesomes who were a lot like the Frankenstones and even though he thought they were weird, he did try to be friendly toward them.

This is cool and all but why leave that annoying smudge in the middle of the screen? It's fine at the beginning but remove it...this isn't a real TV, just a template so that should come out fairly easy! That just pulls eyes too much out of focus! Great job nonetheless with leaving the commercials!

The character names are wrong hidea is not the daughter of frankenstein si the real name is atrocia if you watched flintstones and the frankensteins where appear freaky frankenstein those series of flintstones atrocia is the daughter and hidea is the wife of frankenstein

I didn’t like this special. I’m not saying that the subject of bigotry and how wrong it is shouldn’t be taught to children, I just don’t think Fred should have been the one portrayed as bigoted, it just seems out of character for him.
In the original series Fred could be pretty thick-headed and insensitive to people that he didn’t understand but he was never deliberately mean to mean to them. For example when the Grusomes who pretty much had the same tastes and ideals as the Frankenstones moved next door to them, Fred found them strange and creepy but he was still polite and welcoming toward them.
The 80s Flintstones were not even close to the original
