  • Okay, here is the last of the Kenova trip last week, but it`s not the end of the videos from this trip! I got one more from a different location to post soon. We have another "over and under" and the local coming back at dusk with a newly painted and possibly rebuilt Paducah and Louisville locomotive. This thing is sharp looking. I wish it had gone by about a half hour earlier when it was a little lighter outside.
We had a surprise visit from our friends from Thurmond, West Virginia. ‪@walterlangston4484‬ and ‪@GandAdventures‬ were out railfanning and by chance showed up in Kenova, more than 2 hours from their home base. It was great seeing both of them again! Make sure you subscribe to their channels for action from the Thurmond area of West Virginia!
    Thanks for watching!

There are many different kinds and blends of coal. Maybe they're pulling out the kind they need. Those over/under shots are always awesome. Love to see that electric car fuel on the move. Really appreciate that low light shot. Enjoyed this one a lot, thanks Scott! (Paducah and Louisville I believe)

Thanks. Another great selection. Always impressed with the over and under shots. Did like the colour scheme of that P and L. Some lovely colour schemes out there. Great dusk shot! Thank you.

That coal train must be one of the heaviest there is.

In Kenova coal trains (more like CSX empties with loaded go both way and seems NS isn't exception), one never quite sure where the coal headed.
NS intermodal was curious with NS 4731 lead and 9933 & 9934 Dash-9s elephant style trailing.
P&L ; I can think maybe ex Union Pacific SD70M locomotive. Number boards are blank .
    Nice weird things happened 😊
    Great work Scott 👍👍
