Actually, Biden didn't say they would respond to a chemical weapon attack "with an appropriate response".. he oddly said that "We would respond IN KIND.."
The US does not have weaponized chem. Weapons. The 'in kind' response is presumed to be actual nukes. Besides, the first strike will be against satallites, then the USA
@@michaelfondaw6752 Not actual nukes, conventional warfare would happen first before the US presses the nuke button

There needs to be a correction - nuclear devices actually require a VERY specific set of circumstances to actually have a meaningful effect. So when you shoot down a nuclear warhead, all you have to worry about really is the debris hitting the ground.. which isn't really that big of a deal compared to an actual nuclear strike.

Madness we are a tiny spec in the universe. We don't know how lucky we are to be the way we are. And yet trillions is spent to potentially destroy the Earth. If only that was spent to work together to make this planet better.
I'm reminded of the many discussions I've had with folks over the concept of people stating what they would do in a fight. The truth of the matter is that it's all good until it isn't. Meaning that you won't know how you'll react until you're in it, and you won't know what the outcome is until it's over. 9 years on the streets doing my best to live like a civilized animal and dealing with all sorts of encounters, I learned that circumstances are the most deciding factors. My state of mind, their state of mind, the setting, the time of day, the danger involved.. These are just the basics. The more people/factions involved the more complicated it gets. 9 years+ homeless before I found my way off the streets, and never a single bad encounter with law enforcement amongst the many I had. Attitude and circumstance. Have a good attitude and don't put yourself in a bad circumstance. This simple yet effective strategy worked for me in the worst of situations, and I encourage anyone facing insurmountable odds to not give up hope and stay determined to see light at the end of your tunnel. God bless!
were you bored ?
I'm happy to hear you had decent encounters with law enforcement. 9 years is a serious amount of time! I'm so glad you were able to get off the streets. No one deserves to live like that!

While in Army Reserves during Desert Storm, a Patriot shot down a SCUD and the debris fell directly onto the makeshift barracks being used by the 99th Quartermasters out of Greensburg, PA, who we shared a base with. Relatively speaking, they took more casualties than any other unit during the entire conflict. We need better air defense, big time.

A common mistake made by many is that they believe the tactical nuclear warheads have lower yields than the strategic nuclear warheads. But the differentiation factor really is the range: long than 5500km, it is called the strategic weapons, including nuclear bombers that can fly longer assisted by fuel tankers, with cruise missiles. If something is less than 5500km, it is typically tactical.

Hypersonic missiles aren't that different, it's already been proven in Ukraine that the Patriot system can shoot them down.
the best part of every single infographics show's video is voices of characters XD
Once read an article that said the technology to effectively and reliably defend a country against the current crop of missiIes and those in development will not come about during the lifetime of most people alive today, that defense tech against missiles is decades behind missile tech and the gap is constantly increasing in favor of missiles, the main reasons being because the costs for missile defense tech far exceeds offense tech. They also said that all defense tech tests have been highly controlled or simulations that did not factor in enough variables as much of the potential variables are unknown.

Y’all sure are making a lot of nuclear war/russia videos, but hey, I’m just happy for the consistent uploads 👍
You could be incredibly accurate with a star lin level satellite tracking system and putting lasers on interceptor missiles. A chemical laser with as little as 5 kw would destroy ballistic missle. By attempting to get as close as possible during the intercept and shooting it at the same time.
I like the voice over of the characters when they are yelling and screaming about something lol
Interesting that space bourne laser defenses are discounted on account of the numbers needed. But as we speak, we have a single private company operating thousands of of satellites on a relatively meagre budget. All those systems in the video began development 20-30 years ago. What's the real cutting edge, I wonder?
They went back and watched a house being built in the 70s on some hunk of sand in Pakistan to learn the layout before we raided the Bin Laden compound. Means we have footage of every square inch of land on earth 24/7, and that was happening in the 70s or before so it's hard telling what they are really doing now. Would probably blow our minds
It’s prabably not likely but what if the us was Abel to hide it’s true defenses I talked with some one credibal and I know our at the very least our nuclear arsenal is more than they say
There's an international treaty prohibiting placing weapons in continuous orbit. While communications/spy satellites are OK, lasers probably aren't (I don't feel like Googling to figure out).
Power systems are too big. Starlink satellites are very small, that's why they're so cheap. They're planned obsolescent. They'll die or fall out of the sky within 10y and be replaced because they're cheap. A space based laser satellite would have to be up there for decades. A lot of what made Starlink cheap doesn't work under that requirement.
I bet there are hidden capabilities on starlink that act in concert with the US anti-missile shield. I mean, if they are already putting lasers on ships it means they are already up there in orbit. Probably a whole class of stealth satellites in orbit right now.
That’s like asking if a bulletproof vest can stop getting attacked with bullets…. Yes but it can be overwhelmed with numbers or if the bullet is moving fast enough or is big and powerful enough it can get through.
Agreed. That and just because I have one on doesn't mean I wanna be shot.
Yes good example and also there is diffrent kinds of bullets for example armor piercing or soft point. Simillar nukes comes with various ways it can be torpedo it can be misille it can shot from silo it can be shot from jet it can be shot from submarine. Multiple can be shot at the same time , ıt can be shot with multiple dummies goes on and on basically considering how devestating these weapons are there is no effective way to stop them completely even if couple gets past thats disaster. Video usually talks about ballistic misilles but underwater stealth nuclear torpedos exist (poseidon bomb) and if air defence get overwhelmed or destroyed jets can drop nukes as well even with anti air there is no guarantee you can stop multiple jets coming to drop nukes.
Finally strongest bomb tested (Tsar bomb) from 1960 and it literally can cause disaster , again thats from 1960 not all info is shared who knows what kinda weapons of mass destruction there is you shouldn't bet your chances of defending against them.
Then you shouldn't use a bullet proof west but a wall with armored plates.
@@sebi1114 Yes because weapons technology stops with walls because there’s nothing that can defeat the wall 😂😂😂…. The point I’m trying to make is that whatever defense you come up with there’s a way to come around it or overwhelm it nothing is 100% guaranteed except death and taxes.
This also would be like saying because the vests from decades ago get overwhelmed the ones today will too. The Militaries of the world have weapon systems kept secret for a reason. like the fact they have had ir laser based missile defense for decades.
I swear it's like you can tell the future. I considered this scenario as well.
I recall, 15-20 years ago, the US suddenly said, nuke missiles were no longer a major threat.
There was some major development in defeating the missiles.
Now, it seems, the tactic has been defeated (or just lost..., or forgotten).

A big reason for the transparency wrt nukes is that one of the biggest advantages to having nukes is making sure people know you have nukes.

It will probably be regarded as a NATO strike, not just American. And given our conventional capabilities and Russia's weakening military, we don't have to use WMDs, unless it's a retaliation of Russian use of WMD

I think people imagine that it would be similar to Wargames or Terminator 2, with all sides firing supersonic missiles simultaneously and most of the world being destroyed immediately. Why am I not surprised at how they started out....
Infographics obsession with impending nuclear war is so funny to me 💀
For a moment I couldn't tell exactly which was an imagined scenario and what was real - I had to double check the early parts of the video hadn't happened lol
I'm still trying to figure out .. with the spin of the earth.. (like what 1000 mph) plus it being hurdled thru space at thousands of mph.. these missiles are fast enough and accurate to even adjust .. that's amazing..
Why not just shoot the missile straight up out if the "atmosphere" and then just wait till the target spins under it and it releases by (gravity once past the nogravity spot).
That’s not how that works dude… when an object takes off from earth it carries the same momentum the earth had. It’s why you can jump into the air and not get flung away at 1000mph. Just because you go into space doesn’t mean that you just instantly lose any momentum the object once had.
imo 2 plausible cases of Russia using some kind of wmd, a) some set of errors, 2) Ukraine is able mount a meaningful offensive into Crimea or some other area Russia legally (from Russia's perspective) annexed and therefore can claim there's a legitimate existential threat (from Russia's perspective) to the state itself
Exactly what I'm thinking. Putin is waiting for Ukraine's counteroffensive to regain Crimea to use an excuse to use nukes. My guess is they wouldn't even use them against NATO military camps but against Kyiv. To make a threat so gruesome that the world would have to chose between granting his wishes or accepting greater casualties. The ultimate bluff by the most desperate of madmen. I really hope that Ukraine is already equipped to stop such missile strikes or will soon be provided the systems they need. Either way Russia is doomed.
Welp this aged well
Short answer, It's a yes and no answer.
We would be able to intercept long range bombers and the high yield bombs as their delivery methods are rathed slow.
Low yield warheads are the bigger problem for either side in reality.
Large yield bombs would be saved by either side until radar and other defense systems are rendered useless.
People would survive, but probably not for long.
Devastating for the entire planet.

@@jonkite0071 america would have nukes in the air before they got hit
Yay! More nuke videos!
It boils down to how much "heat up time" there is before full on Nuclear war hits. IF that's the case, we can safely say that at least some small part of the states would survive the onslaught, at least initially. Which? Easily the most strategically important ones. I.E. if there's a buildup and prep for war with ultra-spiking tensions, then the army's going to prioritize the location it needs to keep fighting war.
P.S. The recent "I survived 100 days" series is based on a surprise war. I.E. one where there isn't an initial buildup. That helps to focus the storytelling on the communities, not the political spectrum. But the truth is probably more complicated, with the signs and initial tensions spiking in short order. Hence a brief, but real prep phase where neither party is truly ready, nore "entirely" unprepared. Hence prioritization.
1:15 There is one scenario that I've never seen discussed which I was told to me by a retired Russian intel officers who now runs a small business in the US.
If an invasion happened and Russia saw no alternative, it has a plan on the books to nuke itself, creating a defensive ring of nuclear wasteland along it's own border, perhaps even destryoying an incoming enemy army.
The plan as told to me is to create a radioactive no-mans-land that would be difficult for armies to cross and give Russia enough time to build up defenses along this new border.
As this would be a defensive action not an offensive action, there would be no justification for global nuclear war in response and it would protect Russia from invasion for a long, long time.
It's possible that NATO could create systems that are radiation resistant in order to cross this new radioactive wasteland, but in that time the idea is that Russia would then have enough time to build up defenses.
He told me the idea seemed insane to him because Russias neighbor would be upset with the nuclear fallout downwind, but in a no-win scenario, sometimes you take the option that makes you lose the least.
During WW2, when the Germans invaded, I think we both know Stalin would have used nukes inside Russia to destroy the German army if he had them.
Lately all these nuke videos have been so interesting, I think Im gonna build my own nuke!! Thanks infographics show
this made me laugh out loud
🤣
Holup
Good luck. Start with Coleman mantles, smoke detectors, yellow cake Aluminum tools.
Then you won't have to worry about a bully country invading your home😂👍 Kim Jung Un said that and it makes sense, the only countries that aren't bullied are the one's that have nuclear weapons👍
Short reasonable answer: no.
Long answer: video
11:43 gotta correct you there friend. The US military has lots of active/in-use rail guns on a lot of naval ships. The only rail-guns that failed to meet expectations are the ones for space based nuclear weapons defense.
We need a video on how can citizens defend themselves against government corruption (politicians and cops)
It's simple, get rid of the lieying and corrupt media, get rid of universities that are brain washing ignorant people, get rid of board of education, get rid of global warming BS agenda, get out of all globalist initiatives, get rid of IRS, IF YOU don't have a government issue ID you can't vote. Voting is one day event.
@A B A very (VERY) rare thing in the US

Easily. Arrest Trump
I used to be a PATRIOT operator. Fun Fact: The radar is so powerful you can actually fry an egg on it.
I like the voicing for world leader rants 😂
In most attack scenarios,. It will be land based ICBM. Which can be defended except for decoy warheads. Sea hugging missiles might be different story, specially launched launched near shore line...short or zero alarm time given
Eventually, this manifestation will come to fruition. Take care people of the earth.
Honestly hope it’s soon.
@@mcgiver1327 why
Again let's hope this all stays hypothetical!
It would be exciting tbh
@@Blaubeerschorle What
@@rosslamb6643 not if you live and suffer till death
I predict that in the future, nations are going to defend sovereign and sea space as fiercely as they defend territorial land.
Combine nuclear & cyber? What could we hope to work? Could set it off itself with a glitch.
So I have a question for a chemical weapons expert. You mentioned VX. I have read a bit on the chemical agents VX, Sarin, and Tabun. One of the things I've read is, as deadly as these chemicals are, they all have a fatal flaw in that they don't pass through the skin very easily. This is why the March 1995 Tokyo Subway Sarin Attack only killed 13 people.
Now, from what I've read, the drug fentanyl has no such problem with this. So my question is:
Why don't militaries start using fentanyl as a chemical weapon?
This would have a few affects:
First, it would be the most effective, deadliest, and nicest weapon of war imaginable (no other weapon kills you while making you feel good).
Second, it would allow the drug to be classified as a chemical weapon subjecting it's use and transfer to laws written into the geneva convention giving much more serious consequences to dealers and producers.
Third, any use or spill would be self cleaning since addicts would rush in to start extracting every bit from the dirt, foliage, and whatever else the agent landed on.
Fourth, (this may be a good or bad thing) it has an antidote.
Am I wrong about any of this or are there things that I have not considered?
My question to you is fentanyl is used in the hospital and prehospital setting so making it something used in chemical warfare how would that work for continued use in healthcare
@@tattooedtexasnurse Well put, I didn't even think of that. You found the thing I had not considered. Thank you... Followup question: Aren't there other synthetic opioid painkillers that don't permeate through skin?
Or while not just use novichok most deadily nerve gas known to man
@@iddykejo8173 Why? What would be the benefit in that?
the russians did use a fentanyl based gas during a hostage situation in 2002. carfentanil is more appropriate for that kind of application
4:55 New Brunswick and Nova Scotia are together as a US State. Like come on, it's bad enough the video doesn't start off saying it's all hypothetical.
The lucky ones will be at ground zero. You probably don't want to survive the initial salvo of even a limited nuke strike.
I am certain that the US wanted people to believe that they are not capable of doing something impossible such as an advanced nuke defense system. Lets make the nuclear bomb itself as an example, people back in the days don't even know about it until US dropped it on Nagazaki and Hiroshima! You searched about Manhattan Project. The goal is to make it classified as long as it can, we still even don't know completely what lies beyond Area 52, and don't forget the rise of AI tech is literally on our faces. I doubt that the US Government does not use it in their techs right now and there is a higher chance that they developed or developing and training a super-intelligent AI right now.
And that goes to any military in the world. Stay humble and you will be able to win
The thing is , it's always going to end with a nuclear winter and the end of humanity.
Ragnarok is coming
Did the trees tell you that?
Actually, thats much more widely disputed than we are lead to beleive.
Probably not.
Not a surity
"Generally, most Americans deal with fears of nuclear war by denial. "The main way we cope with it is not to think about it," said Dr. Jerome Frank of Johns Hopkins University."
It's not the nuclear war that worries me, its the killing happening on a day to day basis, no one should ever have to endure the hand of death, even when forced.
@rudedude83 not really. We spend so much money on military. We are the only country not in denial. When you could defeat the rest of world all by yourselves you dont worry about certain things.
The pandemic was the epitome of American denial. Americans will deny and deny until the very end, and probably even beyond that.
@@debih2109 ironically we actually didn't. Had we just ignored covid we would've been way better off. Shutting down the world's biggest economy for virtually a flu made no sense.
@rudedude83 You're mistaken.
