She gives a master class on how to respond to questions directly, concisely, and positively. It's been great to watch her emerge as an important player on the starting five. I hope she and Caitlin remain teammates for a long time.
Hill is literally a genius, got a bachelors and masters in engineering from Stanford in 4 years while playing basketball full time. Makes sense she knows how to respond to questions
Lexie has two twin sisters now, Lacie and Caitlin!! I love the chemistry behind their friendship and team play as well. I'm a new fan of the Fever...and am impressed by the entire team and what they accomplished this year on the court. Maybe I'll get a T-shirt... hmmm... CC, LH, AB, KM, NS, TF, etc? Anyways, I wish them all a great off season rest and a stellar 2025 🏀 season in the WNBA. I truly enjoyed watching their games. And, that's all I got to say. 😊
I love Lexie Hull as much as CC because both of them are so damn humble. They don't let fame or fortune go to there heads and that's why my 13 year old daughter loves them.
Is it just me? Or are Fever players just better in interviews than any other team? I rarely hear a negative comment from a Fever player - unless it's on the court about the intensity of play. Are Fever players given media training? It just seems different to me.
That's a great observation! I hope the culture continues moving in that direction, just like the San Antonio Spurs style back in the day. Everybody is so good at answering questions from Kelsey, Erica, Aaliyah, Caitlin, Temi, etc. Those pre-draft interviews will be essential to keep that up, lol.
I will be rooting for the Fever, but whether it's the Sun or the Lynx in the first round, I don't like their chances. Hull and Smith would be excellent 6th and 7th players off the bench. To beat the Aces,Lynx, Sun or Liberty in a series, they will have to pretty significantly upgrade at the 3 or 4 spot. If it were me, it would be at the 4 spot. Smith can't catch a bounce pass while she is on the run to save her life. Her defense is atrocious. Oh, and CC is gonna have to reduce the turnovers that are actually her fault.
