In fact,many churches here has already been closed down and very few that are operating are struggling. The only converts to Christianity are coming from Buddhist and Hindus but they usually left after few years either by converting to Islam,other religions or back to their own religion. I am a Christian in Malaysia. Recently (since June 1, 2024), I started a RUclips channel to spread the gospel through my own Christian songs. I prefer to keep a low profile and stay below the radar where my faith is concerned. News articles saying Christianity is "exploding" in Malaysia is merely a fear-mongering tactic to make the Muslims feel threatened, and do not augur well for us here. In my opinion, such an article is exaggerated and does not work to our favor. Pray that we in Malaysia can continue to practise our faith, and that I can run my RUclips channel without any harassment.

It is a felony to share it to Muslims, and it is a felony for any Muslim to leave their religion for any other religion. So, in a way, if you are born a Muslim in Malaysia, you are hostage to that religion. As a non-Muslim, I am free to convert from one religion to the other, be it Buddhism or Hinduism, and I can continue to switch, as long as I don't convert to Islam. Going back to that Malaysian Insider and its article from 2014, which I remember shut down many years back, I did some research (I asked ChatGPT), and found out it ceased operations on March 14, 2016. The shutdown was attributed to financial constraints and political pressures. I have not actually read that article, but based on what you shared in your video, I regard the article as a disservice to Christians in Malaysia. I doubt the author of that article can substantiate his claim that Christians in Malaysia is growing at an "exploding" rate. It is baseless and delusional. But 2014 was a different time from now. Yes, during the Najib years, we do live in greater fear, and there would be baseless news articles written to instigate the Muslims, cause them alarm, and make them angry towards specific groups of non-Muslims. The situation has improved, but the law is still the same. I am not actually reaching out to Muslims in Malaysia. I did bring that issue to God. I told God, "Because of the law in Malaysia, if any of us preach to a Muslim, we could be arrested and imprisoned. If any Muslim accepts Christ, he could be arrested and imprisoned. As a result, a whole group of people are cut off from your message. How do we deal with that?" The message that comes back from God is in Matthew 9:37-38, which reads (NIV), "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest to send workers into his harvest field." What I get from the Lord's message is that I am one of those few workers, and I am too precious to be wasted. Moreover, the Lord wants me to obey the law of the country I live. However, that does not stop me from reaching out further afield. The harvest is plentiful. There are still many, many people in the world in need of the message, and I can use my RUclips channel to reach out to them. As for the people in Malaysia whom Malaysian Christians are not allowed to preach to? Well, the Lord will send workers into his harvest field. In other words, if you are a Christian, and you live in a country where it is not against the law of your country to preach to Muslim, ... well, that's as far as I will say. Based on the statistics of my RUclips channel, my Christian songs are being received by more people outside Malaysia, than in Malaysia. Most of the traffic comes from India and the United States. So, I am doing God's calling while obeying the law of the country I live in.

The locals said, most aboriginals in east Malaysia states are traditionally catholic Christians since the reign of James Brooke in early 19th century. East malaysia(sabah & sarawak) mlaysia is a christian dominated ccountry..it us not alike in west malaysia..of course the growth of christian church are drastically in the two wilayah..( dabah and sarawak)..
A lot of Chinese convert from Buddhist to Christianity which is one of the reason for growth. But I would say Islam is still getting the largest growth in Malaysia. Malaysia has sharia laws and the Islam political party is gaining major support from the Malays. In the next election, the Islam political party will most probably win because of the demographic differences between the Muslim and the non-Muslim.
I'm not Malaysian, but I've been here for a couple of years. It's difficult to make that transition to Christianity for the Malays. It is, by law, required for them to be Muslim. There's plenty of loss of social benefit and family ties if one moves away. Apostasy, as it is referred to, is punishable by death in some states. There's a lot they put as benefit for just being Muslim. Even government services have favouritism towards them. Difficult going up to top government jobs without being Muslim. Yet the funny thing is, many don't believe in it though they are. Don't even practice it.

I am a Christian in Malaysia. Recently (since June 1, 2024), I started a RUclips channel to spread the gospel through my own Christian songs. I prefer to keep a low profile and stay below the radar where my faith is concerned. News articles saying Christianity is "exploding" in Malaysia is merely a fear-mongering tactic to make the Muslims feel threatened, and do not augur well for us here. In my opinion, such an article is exaggerated and does not work to our favor. Pray that we in Malaysia can continue to practise our faith, and that I can run my RUclips channel without any harassment.

If you’re low profile or not, there is risks.I’m doing the same with my channel..I understand your concerns but we are commanded by Jesus to share the gospel, it’s a non negotiable…it’s our mission as Christians. You do it your way and I do it mine.
Don’t you want Christianity to explode in Malaysia? @@ImpactEvangelism thank you brother. In Malaysia, it is not a problem to share the gospel to non-Muslim. But we are not allowed to do it to Muslim. It is a felony to share it to Muslims, and it is a felony for any Muslim to leave their religion for any other religion. So, in a way, if you are born a Muslim in Malaysia, you are hostage to that religion. As a non-Muslim, I am free to convert from one religion to the other, be it Buddhism or Hinduism, and I can continue to switch, as long as I don't convert to Islam.
Going back to that Malaysian Insider and its article from 2014, which I remember shut down many years back, I did some research (I asked ChatGPT), and found out it ceased operations on March 14, 2016. The shutdown was attributed to financial constraints and political pressures. I have not actually read that article, but based on what you shared in your video, I regard the article as a disservice to Christians in Malaysia. I doubt the author of that article can substantiate his claim that Christians in Malaysia is growing at an "exploding" rate. It is baseless and delusional.
But 2014 was a different time from now. That is what we call the Najib years, when then prime minister was Najib Tun Razak, who was brought down by the General Elections in 2018, and later arrested for embezzling billions from the country's coffers, and is now in jail, becoming the first and only prime minister of Malaysia to be sent to prison. Yes, during the Najib years, we do live in greater fear, and there would be baseless news articles written to instigate the Muslims, cause them alarm, and make them angry towards specific groups of non-Muslims. The situation has improved, but the law is still the same.
I am not actually reaching out to Muslims in Malaysia. I did bring that issue to God. I told God, "Because of the law in Malaysia, if any of us preach to a Muslim, we could be arrested and imprisoned. If any Muslim accepts Christ, he could be arrested and imprisoned. As a result, a whole group of people are cut off from your message. How do we deal with that?"
The message that comes back from God is in Matthew 9:37-38, which reads (NIV), "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest to send workers into his harvest field."
What I get from the Lord's message is that I am one of those few workers, and I am too precious to be wasted. Moreover, the Lord wants me to obey the law of the country I live. However, that does not stop me from reaching out further afield. The harvest is plentiful. There are still many, many people in the world in need of the message, and I can use my RUclips channel to reach out to them. As for the people in Malaysia whom Malaysian Christians are not allowed to preach to? Well, the Lord will send workers into his harvest field. In other words, if you are a Christian, and you live in a country where it is not against the law of your country to preach to Muslim, ... well, that's as far as I will say.
Based on the statistics of my RUclips channel, my Christian songs are being received by more people outside Malaysia, than in Malaysia. Most of the traffic comes from India and the United States. So, I am doing God's calling while obeying the law of the country I live in.

That’s where the title comes from..The title won’t change the Malaysian government’s attitude towards Christians. They already have an attitude rooted in Sharia.
All churches highlighted in this video are free to worship Jesus without repercussions from the Muslim government.
Jesus is doing great things through these churches and I wanted the world to see the joy in their faces and the joy in their voices as they praise King Jesus.

Under our constitution no one of non Muslim faith can propagate his religion to a Muslim. The short answer is no.
A couple of states are Christian majority. Malaysia is not a Muslim country. The constitution is secular. 55 years ago, Muslims was 40%of the population but has now increased to about 60% due to high birth rate and immigration from Indonesia and southern Philippines. Pray for the safety of peace loving Christian’s in all countries.

The locals said, most aboriginals in east Malaysia states are traditionally catholic Christians since the reign of James Brooke in early 19th century. As for west Malaysia, there used to be lots of churches under the British rule in mid 19th to mid 20th centuries but the growth of Christianity was restricted after the independence and the implementation of racial policies under the then ruling party spearheaded by the famous and infamous prime minister Mahathir Mohamad.

A lot of Chinese convert from Buddhist to Christianity which is one of the reason for growth. But I would say Islam is still getting the largest growth in Malaysia. Malaysia has sharia laws and the Islam political party is gaining major support from the Malays. In the next election, the Islam political party will most probably win because of the demographic differences between the Muslim and the non-Muslim.

I'm not Malaysian, but I've been here for a couple of years. It's difficult to make that transition to Christianity for the Malays. It is, by law, required for them to be Muslim. There's plenty of loss of social benefit and family ties if one moves away. Apostasy, as it is referred to, is punishable by death in some states. There's a lot they put as benefit for just being Muslim. Even government services have favouritism towards them. Difficult going up to top government jobs without being Muslim. Yet the funny thing is, many don't believe in it though they are. Don't even practice it.
