This is far better than using "Nay" on everything which builds just one vowel Yes Nay works but you still gotta build/train all the other vowels. I been a month and two weeks on his program and I tried to sing faithfully from Journey and I could hit the notes!

I remember before I started practicing high notes. I've always had a relatively high range, but while I was unpracticed, Man in the Box (A flat 4 I believe) game me serious trouble, I could barely go that high without feeling like my throat was going to shred, no after around 6-8 months of practice, I can belt up to around C-D5, and can falsetto higher than my guitar (though just barely) (my guitar's highest note is D6). My lowest note is somewhere below E2, I haven't checked specifically. Around the middle-low end of bass guitar's E string's range. Just keep practicing people. Even If your voice isn't physically capable of going high at all, practicing the notes you can hit, be you a pure baritone or otherwise, your voice WILL sound great with practice.

I found your videos just about a month ago. I’m 53 and I sing for a band here in Florida called The Dammselves. There are things I have struggled with for as long as I’ve been singing which goes back to high school. I wish I could actually demonstrate The improvements I’ve made just since watching your video. I use my guitar and I chromatically go up through the exercises. I’ll take my time and this stuff works. Period

My voice dropped at 24 .
    Im 26 .
At first i was Martin Baritone .
But now i saw a friend teacher , I am like between 2 types .. between cavalier and martin ..
My voice is lower since .
    I have more texture .
In the stuff in roar mixed , i cant do as high when i was 19.
But for the heavy metal upper register larynx technique , i can go way higher .
    With training .
More power than i used too .

Nothing has grown my voice like Ken's Course has in the last 12 weeks.
Last year I sang a lead role in my schools musical adaptation of Romeo&Juliet.
The hardest note I had to hit was an Eb 4 on an "ooh"-vowel. That killed me during rehearsals. It took me the better part of a year to finally get that song ready for stage.
It was a lower version of "Where Do I Begin" with a new set of lyrics. But that was not the only challenge for me.
Jumping between Bb3s and D3s for the verses was hard for me as I had to land the Bb3 (first note of the piece) out of nowhere. That was at the rear end of my tessitura back then. Singing songs like "She" by Elvis Costello (-2 semitones) was really hard for me as well. Same thing as before. I had to jump to a C4 out of the blue and about a third of the song is based around that C4. There were quite a few more challenges for me in that musical and a bunch of other songs that I won't get into here.
On top of that I had to get pretty aggressive speech wise or sob in anguish for some parts. I had been messing around with "healthy" Vocal Distortion (false cord screams, to be precise) so I didn't hurt myself when raging against Tybalt or sobbing over Juliets apparent death. But the two weeks of heavy rehearsals (8 am - 5 pm) prior to our performances had taken a toll on me and I was on my last five percent during the last performance. It was a miracle that my voice didn't break, because I couldn't even reach the Eb4 during the warm ups that day. I'm confident that I set a record for "most prayers about an upcoming gig by one person in a single day" in heaven that day.
Anyways. Why did I tell you this? Good question.
I bought the course during Ken's incredibly generous sale in March. I couldn't really afford it before and with lockdown coming about in Germany it seemed like the perfect opportunity to enroll in Ken's academy. I have been doing the audio workouts 5-6 days a week ever since. When I could, I rehearsed some songs of my local church's repertoire afterwards. As time went by I noticed that I could finally sing a lot of songs that were out of my "tension free zone" before with a new sense of ease. Some of them had notes I couldn't hit before. Some of them were just way up in my former chest range with a never ending stream of Bb4s to F4s and so on. And yet here I was. Singing these songs stronger than I could have ever imagined. The joy I felt in that moment is something you have to experience yourself to fully grasp it.
And do you wanna know the best part of it all?
I'm only "through" a fifth of the course.
So yeah. I can definitely recommend Ken's Course. DEFINITELY! :)
    Ken, if you're reading this:
I can't thank you enough. I was not ready for the vast amount of valuable knowledge and immaculate structuring in your course.
And after hearing your voice an hour a day for almost 3 months now I feel like I've known you forever. When I discovered your channel I admired your singing, but working through the course I noticed that you're not only a truly gifted singer, but also a really awesome guy to top it all off.
One day I'll book a Skype Lesson with you. I don't know when yet, but it's on my bucket list.
    Until then:
    Rock on! Greetings from Germany!

+M. Colby Most of what I do are web cam skype sessions all over the world. My Academy is LOCATED in Hawaii and Los Angeles for "In Studio" sessions however I would strongly recommend starting with my "How To Sing - Better Than Anyone Else" course as it will save you a LOT of time and money. You can find it under the "singing courses" tab on the bottom of my KenTamplinVocalAcademy.com page (or click this link: kentamplinvocalacademy.com Then if you feel like you need to take a personal after doing the course for a bit to make sure you are on track is always a good idea (or if you just want to start straight away with personal instruction). The personal instruction is located there as well and I record the video sessions and a copy is sent to you for your reference. (or you can click this link): kentamplinvocalacademy.com/online-singing-lessons/ )
There is also a "gold bundle option" that includes 3 one hour sessions with me. What many people do is get this (it comes with the course and basically the course is free with this option) then they will take a lesson after doing volume 1 for a while to make sure they are on track. Then do the same for volume 2 etc.
For "In Studio" sessions you can click this link: kentamplinvocalacademy.com/personal-singing-lessons/
I have also put great singers forums with over 7,000 like minded students and 8 moderators (including myself) to help field questions abut the course helping to take some of the guesswork out of it.
I hope that answers your questions :-)
      -Ken

Great video Brother Ken ;) My rand=ge has gradually been decreasing. Songs I wrote and recorded from the late 80's forward have required me dropping keys. Then around 2 months ago, not sure if I caught some odd coldor something, but my upper range is totally blocked. Great info, thank You for sharing God's gifts.

Ken!Thanks for the encouraging feedback. It is quite interesting though regarding range. Ironically, it seems you and (your cousin) Sammy Hagar are among the only singers I can readily think of that can still nail the high range stuff from youth! So many others need to lower keys or they have quit. Robert Plant, Steve Perry, Fish (Marillion), etc...

But 13 years of smoking 2 packages per day...gosh, cannot hit A1. Before I get lung cancer better to quit and try to train my vocal abilities at my 46. Followed your channel and decided to subscribe.
